Power multipliers

( Yuuki's POV )

When Sei was on the ground bleeding to death his Kagune began to retract leaving him vulnerable, one of his arms was missing and he had difficulty breathing, He didn't have much time left so I approached with my gun drawn and he couldn't do anything but look at me.

Yuuki: You know, that was a better fight than I expected, I guess you deserve some recognition.

I used my powers to heal Sei enough to make his passing painless, that's the only kindness I'll give to an enemy who gave me a good fight, but when he felt better he glared at me.

Sei: I'm not going to tell you anything.

Yuuki: that's fine, I already got the information I wanted.

Sei: I really hate you.

Yuuki: that's fine too, I at least hope that you live better in your next life, Your biggest mistake was choosing the wrong side so better luck next time, well you won't remember anything about this life so I guess it's just a roll of the dice.

Sei closed his eyes annoyed not wanting to deal with me anymore and I pointed my gun at his head.

Sei: then... I hope I never see you again.

Yuuki: I live a long time and travel quite a bit so who knows?

Sei: fuck you.

When he had nothing more to say I pulled the trigger and put a bullet in his brain and another in his heart, Since there was no place to bury him, I burned his body and let his ashes be carried away by the wind.

After rescuing Rika and her partner they were escorted back to the camp by the girls while a small group stayed behind at the airport, to make sure that none of Sei's mates or some other random group will occupy this spot, though I doubt many groups would even be able to make it here.

At the airport were, Stella, Kuno, Joyce, Hilda, Eu, and me, I was on a runway together with Hilda and Eu, we were sitting carefree while we heard shots from the girls who were taking care of the remaining zombies, In truth, with our powers, technology, and infinite ammo, they were only a minor inconvenience.

I asked Sif to collect the remains of the Megalos that the others had killed and when she returned I had in front of me, the frozen remains of the lion and crocodile Megalos, a giant turtle shell, a bird wrapped in whips, Sei's severed arm, a charred unrecognizable corpse, and some black goo, Sif was munching on some of the remains and that caused Eu to tap my shoulder somewhat worried.

Eu: Is it okay... to let her eat that?

Yuuki: she's a smart girl, she wouldn't eat something that would hurt her but I'll do an exam when we get back home just to be sure.

The most obvious difference with the Megalos we had encountered before was that their remains didn't disappear after killing them but their meat wasn't dangerous or anything, when I took the severed arm I could immediately feel the difference between a normal Kagune, the amount of Rc cells that the Kagune produced and passed through our veins was extremely higher than normal, I don't know how they did that but I doubt they are using a sophisticated method so I'm sure I'll be able to create something that caused the same effect in my lab.

Kakuja, the ability that was being used, apart from being a good organic armor, was a power multiplier, I estimate it was around x2.5 which isn't much but I had other multiplier abilities that could be stacked, my dragonewt form gave me x3.75, Haruhime's magic, kokonoe gave me x4.5 and a Sekirei kiss gave me x5 as well as giving me access to my most powerful attack, the norito.

In addition, there was also the ten-level seal that it has, each seal from one to nine blocked 10% of my total strength and the last one only appeared when my power massively exceeded the power limit of the world where I was, in this world I had five seals, meaning 50% of my total power was sealed.

I could only release those five seals for a limited time but Hilda told me that since tooru was reborn in this world, He could reach a power level equal to my sealed power without affecting the world much, I guess that's a home-field advantage.

When I meet him again, I'll have to abuse those multipliers to win, When I first faced him he seemed to be more interested in gathering Megalos and minions than training his own body, but after his close encounter with death ( me ) I'm sure he will change his strategy if he is smart at least.

While I was thinking about what might be waiting for me in the future I picked up my swords to assemble them but when I tried to put them together they began to vibrate strongly as if they did not want to be together, I was obviously confused by this but Hilda clapped her hands and looked at me with a smile as if she knew exactly what was going on.

Hilda: oh congratulations Yuuki, it seems your weapon is developing a consciousness.

Yuki: what?

Hilda: when a weapon is used to kill a god it becomes more powerful and resistant and in some cases, it develops a conscience and becomes a god-slaying living weapon.

Yuuki: but I haven't killed any god yet.

Hilda: no but you have given it some of your blood and you have divinity, so that is practically the same, try to give it some more of your blood.

That made sense, I guess, so I cut my palm and let my blood fall on all the swords, my blood slipped into the blades and two of them turned red while the others returned to normal.

Hilda: It seems that those two are growing faster than the others.

Hilda pointed at my main sword and hollow sword and I raised them to look at them more closely, These looked sharper but I was expecting something more impressive.

Yuuki: and what did that accomplish?

Hilda: don't be impatient Yuuki, for now, give it some of your blood once a week, and soon you will see something impressive.

Yuuki: I'll take your word for it.

In the distance, I could hear the sound of the boats that brought our soldiers who were going to form a base here, so I raised my swords and all the remains of the Megalos with my gravity control and I started to walk back but while I was walking I noticed that Hilda and Eu were acting strange.

Hilda was grinning from ear to ear while Eu who normally didn't show any emotion was blushing hard, I was going to ask what was wrong but before I could speak she hugged my arm and walked faster.

Hilda: by the way you're not tired, right Yuuki?

Yuuki: not particularly, why?

Hilda: I'm just checking.

Eu hurry to hug my other arm and we joined the others to return home.
