Ogata

( Yuuki's POV )

The two trucks stopped and I waited to see what their next move would be, at that moment I heard strong footsteps and in a few moments Sif appeared next to me, after eating Megalo meat at the airport as I thought nothing bad happened to her but for some reason, she started to grow rapidly and today she was as tall as the trucks in front of me.

When Sif appeared one of the trucks immediately sped up toward us and I used a new power that I wanted to try, After winging Mamako I got the ability to create and control earth, I could use my transmutation to modify the land around me but the difference between these two abilities is range, transmutation only works on things that I touch or are very close to me and Mamako's ability works on everything in my sight.

I stomped on my foot on the ground and a pillar of earth rose up under one of the front tires flipping the truck over.

The driver of the other truck did not seem to care much about the well-being of his partner because when their plan began to go wrong, the other truck, which was still quite far away, tried to escape, I jump over Sif and we reached the truck in seconds, Sif got ready to jump on top of it but at that moment the door at the back of the truck opened and a bunch of zombies fell out of it, Sif jumped back and I watched as the truck speed away.

Yuuki: Sif, do you have her scent?

*WOOF*

Yuki: Good girl.

We return to the entrance of the camp to give the soldiers a clear line of fire and while they were swinging the zombies I went to clean up with the driver of the other truck.

Sif turned the truck over with one of her paws and I approached the driver's window with my gun ready, I looked at the driver who was a middle-aged man

and even though he was bleeding a lot he was doing his best to stay conscious, His eyes were filled with equal parts anger and remorse, as if he didn't want to do this but had no other choice.

Yuuki: That's an interesting look you have there my friend, I think we need to have a chat.

While the soldiers at the entrance dealt with the zombies in the other truck, I carried a middle-aged man, whose name was Ogata, to the hospital of our camp, I personally healed his wounds and he was somewhat surprised but I didn't worry and I proceeded to question him.

His story was that at the beginning of the apocalypse he and his daughter along with a small group of survivors were taking refuge in his restaurant and soon after a group of five young men appeared seeking shelter and they let them inside.

Big mistake if you don't have enough armed people that guarantee peace among the survivors.

At first, nothing happened but one night those five young men assaulted two women in their group, Apart from those five there were only three men in their group and they tried to stop the young men but one of them used a Kagune and killed one of them, the oldman Ogata and the other man were dumped in an empty storage room not knowing what had happened to his daughter and the other women in their group.

Today the two men were taken out of the storage room and the guy with the Kagune who had become the leader of a group of thirty, all of them men, the leader told them that if they released all the zombies that were inside the trucks in our camp he could see his daughter again.

The oldman Ogata probably knew that this was a suicide mission but he was willing to do whatever it takes to save his daughter, I couldn't let a group like that run wild, so I promised the oldman Ogata that I would take care of that group and find out what happened to his daughter.

After that, I let him rest, even though I healed his body he was still mentally drained.

Without wasting time I called all my Sekireis to my underground laboratory and I immediately went to work, Hilda altered the time in the laboratory, we spent three days there but only three seconds had passed outside.

In this operation, we moved in a medium-sized group, fifteen people plus Sif.

During the three days in the lab I built three more Wanzers and two Wanzers without cockpits that were remotely controlled by Matsu from the MBI building, Stella was in the first Wanzer I built and piloting the new Wanzers were Emilia, Kuno, and Saya, Shizuka was driving the reinforced Jeep with Tsukiumi, Miu, Kyoka and Mitsuki, my five school friends were driving a rescue truck and I was riding Sif.

It took us half an hour to reach the city and from there we moved slowly using buildings to hide the Wanzers, after twenty minutes we reached our objective, Fifty meters away from Oldman Ogata's restaurant that they used as a base I went up to a building and used my binoculars.

Outside the restaurant there were eight lightly armed men, two had hunting rifles and the others had pipes and makeshift spears, they had a couple of motorcycles and two trucks, a guy got out of the truck that had attacked our camp and started arguing with one of the armed men but that didn't end well and another guy hit him on the back of the head with a pipe.

Yuuki: Stella sends out the drones.

Stella: [ you got it. ]

Silent drones came out of a compartment in the right shoulder of her Wanzer, they used radar constantly and sent the position of our enemies to the mini maps in our HUD lenses.

It seems that some members of this group were outside when oldman Ogata left the camp because our radars revealed that there were forty enemies and fifteen captive girls.

Yuuki: well they could be hundreds for all I care, their fates were sealed from the moment they decided to attack us.
