1 My death, my goddess and our decision

I find myself in endless darkness unable to feel my body, no I don't think I have a body anymore.

I feel that my appearance is of a sphere with a slight purple shine, so small that it is almost impossible to detect in this darkness.

I think anyone could call this place "the void"

I try to remember who I am.

My name = I can't remember it, My appearance = I think it was plain,  my family = normal and loving, my love life = no girlfriend, obviously a virgin, my hobbies = Movies, video games, manga, anime, and novels.

You could call me an otaku and a proud one, That was what gave me the most happiness in life and I don't regret anything even after I died.

Speaking of my death, the moments before it happened were ones I could never forget even if I wanted to.

(Flashback.)

it was dark while walking home after working, I had my headphones on, not paying attention to my surroundings when suddenly I saw the most beautiful woman in my entire life, in my eyes no supermodel would reach her heels in beauty. That was love at first sight, she was short in stature (1.49 m) with beautiful silver hair that almost touched the ground, Golden eyes that seemed to shine, and a modest chest, She was wearing a white one-piece dress that showed her curves, She was looking in various directions as if she was looking for something or someone.

My heart was beating so hard as if it was going to come out of my chest and my body wanted to run towards her to hug her and never let go, That was something strange and I had never felt like that before but my body didn't move.

A loud sound snapped me out of my trance, I turned my head and saw a truck driving toward her at high speed.

MC: 'WATCH OUT!!!'

I yelled at her, my body was already running to save her, which caught her attention and she looked at me for the first time and gave me the most beautiful and loving smile that made my heart beat even faster than before and she completely ignored the truck heading towards her.

When I pushed her out of harm's way her expression changed to one of sadness. I heard the truck approaching about to take my life but all I could think was "I don't want to see you sad like that ever again" and then and then everything went dark.

(Back to the present.)

Floating in the void after recalling a bit of my life, the important parts, wondering what happened to the girl who should learn to be aware of her surroundings before 'you know what'

???: We can finally talk, darling.

I heard a melodious voice and there she was, the woman who indirectly caused my death.

Mc: You, what are you doing here, don't tell me you ... you also died.

I feel terrible about the thought of her getting seriously hurt.

She notices the concern in my voice and responds a little uneasily.

???: N-no, I'm alright, don't worry about me I should introduce myself first, my name is Hilda

Hilda: I want to apologize, your situation is complicated and everything is in a way my fault.

Mc: What do you mean ... complicated?

Hilda: I will explain everything but you need to hear until the end, you see I am the goddess of time and space and I must say I am incredibly powerful, many gods want my power, my body, or both, It was never a problem taking care of them since they were weak and I never felt love for any of them, but then something happened, I felt a small connection with my divinity,  thinking that was related to another idiotic plan of the gods, I followed this connection and that's when I met you, you were just a baby at the time but I knew that our futures were intertwined in some way, I continued to watch over you and the connection I felt only grew stronger as you grow older and at some point, I couldn't help but fall in love with you, that was our destiny and I've been watching you ever since, imagining the day the two of us would meet and talk for the first time, but those stupid gods ruined it.

Well, I didn't expect that, but that explains why I felt so attracted to her from the moment I saw her.

Hilda: They discovered what I felt for you and decided to eliminate you to create an opportunity with me, to take advantage of my broken heart, but my friend warned me in time and that's why you are here.

I heard his story and I try to digest it as fast as I can.

Mc: were you looking for me when that accident happened?

Hilda: Yes but that was not an accident, in order for me to protect you first you had to die by my hands, I know it sounds strange but believe me you are the most important thing to me.

Well, I always wanted to have a Yandere girlfriend, plus my feelings for her are growing uncontrollably and I can't do anything to stop it.

Hilda: Those other gods not only wanted to take your life, they were going to erase your existence completely, giving you no chance to be reborn, but here you will be safe with me.

After listening to what she had to say I came to the conclusion that gods are selfish but the kind of selfishness of this goddess I can't say I don't like it, No one had ever had such strong feelings for me.

Mc: It's not that I don't appreciate what you did, That was sweet in a weird kind of way but if you've really been with me my whole life you should know that I can't just stay here and be safe.

Hilda: *sigh* I know but you can't blame me for trying.

It seems that what she said was true and she knew from the beginning how I would react.

Hilda: this will be a long and dangerous journey, once you start there is no turning back.

Mc: I am prepared, and you will be with me all the way, right?

Hilda: of course! I won't let anyone separate us darling~

Although now I was just a sphere of light Hilda reached for me and she held me against her chest, I could feel all her feelings towards me and I couldn't help but return those feelings.

To all those selfish gods who messed with my life, be prepared because your days are numbered, that's a promise.

Mc: Out of curiosity, have you intervened in my life before?

Hilda: well, maybe I have intervened once or twice.

Well, that explains some strange events in my life.
