9 Chapter 8

Billy hisses out in pain while saying"Ouch! Ouch.... What the hell,why are they suddenly heating up."

Billy put his hand in his jean pockets and a second later he slammed his hand on the counter which revealed a sapphire crystal that was glowing.Other four felt the same as soon joined by four other crystals; one white, ruby, yellow, and a pink one it started slowly.As the crystals started floating

Billy, Jason, Trini and Kimberly's eyes were widened with shock now on the floating crystals, and each quickly swapped their own crystals out of the air into counter.

But Alex noticed when the the crystals were together,they not burning them now,but actually heating up the counter as you could clearly see heating red patches.

Jason hissed out "We have problem here !"and then,students who had their trays on the counter started to completely melt and the coke and soda can's started to burst open due the heat.All the food even was thrown at the students,Alex was pretty sure he saw Kimberly smirk seeing her former friends were the ones who sprayed with food and soda.

Alex whispered"Let's go before someone notices anything."

Everyone nodded as they quickly made they way out of the canteen.Everyone decided to use Alex's car,as they made their way to the same mine location.Alex couldn't help mutter"Let's hope now police are wandering around here after the incident."

Trini who heard this spoke up"Let's not jinx it now."

Alex raised his hands in defence and said"Just being careful,Constant Vigilance."

Everyone agreed on that,as Billy smiled and said"I know that reference it is Harry Potter right."

Alex eyes quickly focused on a figure running up the side of the cliff with impossible speed as he questioned "Isn't that Zack?"

Kimberly in confusion and can't believe what she was seeing said"And I see his crystal .... is flying away from him" as she points to the other two,who leans forward focusing on the crystals.

Trini and Kimberly follow first jogging and slowly burst out in a sprint.Trini was the fastest and she started quickly climb the slopes within seconds she had already reached the top.

Kimberly too starts with a jog at first before bursting out in a sprint. She reaches the slopes and then starts climbs it , within ten seconds they both were standing on the slope.While Jason and Alex looked at each other,they both decided to take different way,as they gave leap,with each jump they would use use there strength to grab onto the ledge above.They both using their superhuman physical strength easily hoists himself up onto the next

ledge .They both reached the top without a problem with just two leaps and less energy.

Billy looking at all this shook his head and started muttering "No way,I am doing that.I am doing it the safe way."

As he started climbing the same way as Trini and Kimberly did,but much slower muttering"Slow is safe."

Soon Billy reaches the top ,as they sees Zack standing in the distance, close to the edge, and he seemed to have caught crystal as he saw everyone and gave shout"You guys won't believe what just happened?"

Trini rolled her eyes and replied"We saw everything."

Zack shook his head and replied"No,I am telling their is something down their,I saw some sort of light flash,I am telling you my crystal brought me here."

Kimberly and Trini wasn't believing him,while Alex spoke up"It is possible,I mean we saw the crystal flying on it's own.So maybe it was going somewhere."

As they were talking about it, once again suddenly they felt crystals heat up again and the ground started to shake causing everyone to lose balance ,but Zack who was at the edge fell.

Alex ran towards edge was worried gave shout "Zack"as they all rushed and looked at deep gourge,it was dark as they looked at each other with worry,they heard Zack shout "I am okay,It's safe .There's water down here."

Jason looked Alex and asked"Shouldn't we join him."Alex shrugs and looked at kimberly saying"You girls coming" with that he leaps off the edge.

Jason quickly joins,while Billy was nervous seeing this is going nowhere Trini looks at Kimberly who gives a nod as both grabs Billy and jumps in.Alex a land somewhere in the water.As he emerges out of the water, gasping,he sees his friends all laughing and joking,until he saw his friends were glowing.
