Ch.5 That hurts like hell.

"Let's get on to the next thing." He said he wanted to finish this fast as it is taking too long.

"Ok here, eat this and you will get the system." She said giving him a can and then sitting back on her chair with a mischievous gaze on her face.

With suspicion, he took the can and opened it. He was surprised to find the content and look towards her for an answer but she kept looking at him with a smirk as the silence took over.

"What is this?" He asked to break this silence.

"It's just a piece of meat, just eat it and you will get the system. Hufufufu~" She said while covering her mouth to stop laughter from escaping.

With a sigh he looked at her with a blank expression as he took out the contents from the can which turned out to be a raw piece of meat as he said, "I don't think it's just a piece of meat."

"Yeah you are right but it's just a little raw." She said while covering her face as this situation was too hilarious for her.

"You…" Just as he was about to refute her, he felt like it would be a waste of time to argue with her and asked something else, "Which creature's meat is this?"

"Mou~ It's the meat of the celestial beast called Systematicus." She said with a pout on her face as she was disappointed that he didn't react the way she was intending to.

"Okay but don't you guys have a better name for it." He said shaking head with disappointment as he felt like that name was given to that beast with just little thought.

"Hey! Don't mock that as the name of that beast was given by someone great." She said, crossing her hands while puffing her non-existent chest out in anger.

"Whatever…" He does not feel like continuing this conversation anymore as he was getting bored as he directly intake the raw meat to her surprise.

"Hey wait-" Before she could warn him about the incoming pain that was going to take over him, he fell to the ground with a painful expression.

"Uggh…" He rolled around the ground while gritting his teeth to reduce the pain as he felt like his whole body being twisted by some unusual force while thinking, 'I am dead so why the heck I am feeling pain.'

"Hey, hey, calm down and remember to stay awake." She said with an anxious expression as she put his head on her lap while feeling strange that she doesn't like seeing him in pain even though she met him a few hours ago.

Few minutes later…

"That hurts like hell." He said in a tired voice as he suddenly felt a drop of warm water falling on his face.

Looking up, to his surprise he found Elena looking at him with an angry face with tears falling down her face. "Are you an idiot? You could've told me before eating that."

"Huh? It's not like it would have made any difference." He said in a tired voice as he just wanted to fall asleep.

"You idiot, I could've given you a potion to drink before to ease the pain!" She shouted in anger while inside feeling surprised at her outburst.

"The hell!" He shouted in surprise and without saying anything closed his eyes as he felt like he had enough for today.

"Hey don't die." She shouted in an anxious voice as even more tears poured down her eyes while she shook his body furiously.

"Wait… I am just sleeping." He said, patting her head as she calmed down while he slept with his head on her lap as he hugged her waist.

"Okay…" She said in an embarrassed voice while her face was red like a tomato as her realization finally dawned about the actions of her earlier.

"Nooooo!" She shouted in embarrassment while covering her face as she knew that he would make fun of her later.

"It's all because of you." She said while gritting her teeth and as she suddenly poked his cheeks in anger as she wanted to let out her embarrassment in some way.

"It's your fault." She said while poking his cheeks as she was having fun watching his troubled face.

Few hours later…

"Fufufufu~" She laughed while feeling the strange sense of enjoyment she was getting from poking his cheek.

"What are you doing?" He asked in a tired voice as he was pretending to be asleep as woke up a few minutes ago but he didn't get up because she was poking his cheeks while laughing in a strange way.

"What are you talking about? I am doing nothing…" She feigned ignorance while failing to whistle.

"Whatever but why am I like this?" He asked while raising his eyebrow as he only remembered falling to the ground while feeling immense pain, and now he is in her lap.

"Wait, you don't remember?" She said in a surprised voice while feeling happy inside as she wanted him to forget that moment.

"Remember what? I only know that I fainted after that pain overwhelmed me." He said while trying to remember if he had forgotten anything.

"Oh! That! I was talking about that!" She said while nodding her head furiously, while feeling happy that everything was going her way.

"Okay… what is next then?" He said with suspicion in his voice as she was acting strange but just decided to ignore it.

"Oh! You can check the system now or customize your appearance and get to the world first and check it later and… also jump in that portal after that is finished." She said with a pondering face as she tried to remember if she missed anything else while a blue portal appeared next to them.

"Hey… hypothetically, can someone else customize the appearance of someone else." He asked with shining eyes while showing her charming smile.

"Yes…" She replied while feeling strange as he was acting totally different from earlier.

"Okay, make me a handsome man while I am going to sleep…" He said while snuggling up to her stomach while hugging her waist even tighter.

"Hey… okay…" She nodded with a red face as she decided to let it slide this time because of the pain he felt earlier. 'Yes, I am just pitying him…'

He felt surprised that she easily accepted that but still felt happy that he can sleep even more while she started on customizing his appearance.

An hour later.

"Hey! Wake up!" She said in a loud voice as all her embarrassment was gone and she was back to her old self.

"Yeah, yeah…" He said waking up as he stood up from her lap while scratching the back of his head.

"Here is the finalized appearance. How does it look?" She asked while showing him the body of naked body of a handsome man with a chiseled body but what he found strange was that the thing between his legs was too big and that the avatar face was the same as his but without any flaws and with black hair and eyes.

"Hey isn't that too big?"

"Nope cause it's not real world but hentai."

"Okay I guess…" He shrugged his shoulders while suddenly a huge smile appeared on his face. "But aren't I pretty handsome?"

"Fufufu~ You think that is enough to impress me. You puny mortal." She said with a prideful voice while there were small blushes on her cheeks as he looked at her with a tired face.

"What? Got a problem?" She asked with an angry voice.

"Yes. As you are more beautiful when you're genuinely cheerful or cute when embarrassed than these fake prideful looks." He said while holding her chin with his hands while looking into her eyes, "Anyway I am off."

"W-w-what-" Before she could say anything, he jumped into the portal with a grin while feeling happy to get revenge on her for earlier events while she stood there with a red face.

"Hey wait for me." She shouted coming out of her stupor as she also jumped into the portal with a red face.
