Chapter 6: In search of Buro
"Oh! it seems we have new customers." Shakky sitting at the counter with a ciggerate in her mouth, says with a smile.
"Sorry for the sudden intrusion. I am Yash, Old man Rayleigh said that I can come here if I ever want to meet him. Although the reason for coming here is the comotion going on outside." Yash scratched the back of his neck as he answers.
"Umm can we stay here till the comotion settle?" Pacia sat down on a chair as she asks.
"Sure, the lodging will be 400,000 berries an hour." Shakky says with a smile on her face
"400,000? I don't have any money on me right now. But I will pay you in the future." Yash promise to pay in the future but he was unaware how much 400,000 berry is worth in this world.
"Well since you are Rayleigh's guests I will take your word for it." Shakky makes herself a drink and take a sip
"Do you want a drink? It's on the house." Asks Shakky,
"I am sorry but I don't drink." Apologises Yash as he takes a seat as well.
"So much like Monkey chan." Exclaims Shakky as she pours milk for Yash in a glass.
"Thanks, Yash takes a sip and take a deep breath. Chills go down his spine as he came to a sudden realisation. "Shit where is Buro? She always sticks by my side."
"Do you mean the Dog that was with you in shipping Facility?" Ask Pacia.
"Yes, have you seen her?" Yash stands up and slam the desk. Sweat drips from his forehead.
"She was following us but I haven't seen her since after we got out of Human Auctioning house." Says Pacia as she take a sip of her drink. She ordered it when Yash wasn't paying attention.
"Thanks for the information," Yash quickly grabs Pacia's drink and ran out of the Shakky's rip off bar," drinking isn't nice for your health." Yash threw the drink away.
"Oh! Come on. A little is not gonna hurt anyone." Pouts Pacia, she smiles and look out of the window. "I don't think anyone has cared about my health since my late father."
"Is this Young man someone special to you?" ask Shakky as she leaned forward.
"We have just met. He helped me in the time of need. I appreciate his kindness but I don't think we can be even regarded as close friends yet alone lovers." Says Pacia with a disheartened look on her face. "Friends....."
In the midst of chaos, Yash ran through Groove 13 towards Groove 1, as He got to Groove 12 he encountered a devestating sight.
Ussop is crying in terror," YOU. WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO ZORO? He was right here just now." He looks dirty and distressed.
Monkey D Luffy, was staring into horror, "Zoro..... Zoro....", luffy screamed While Robin is by his side.
A huge palm struck them but they were able to dodge, A wendigo type being was roaring, covered in wounds.
"Zoro, WHERE DID YOU GO?" Luffy wails as The wendigo like monster, i.e. Chopper, struck a large man with light skin and a stocky build similar to that of a sumo wrestler. He has a large scar extending from his left eye to the left corner of his mouth, i.e. Sentomaru.
"What's going on? What happened to Zoro? Where is he?" Yash wondered out loud in horror as he witnessed the scene unfolding infront of his eyes. He quickly ran towards the familiar faces from before when he ran outside the Auction house.
"You are Franky right? What's going on? Where is Zoro?" Ask Yash.
"Zoro... was erased," Franky says without even noticing that Yash was there,"Doesn't that mean the real one has came?"
"No question about it, I have seen that power before." Says Nami in horror, not even blinking or shifting her gaze.
Yash shake them both until they come back to their senses," What the hell do you mean Zoro is erased? There is no way someone can be erased out of existence. Don't assume he is dead till you see his corpse."
Yash, who didn't witness the powers of Bartholomew Kuma didn't knew about the strength of people in this world. But his words instilled hope to the straw hats.
"But on thriller bark he erased that girl and she never came back" exclaim Nami.
"Where did he sent Zoro?What did he do?" Asks Luffy to Sentomaru.
"I don't have to answer you, I am the world's most tight lipped man, I don't know if it's true but rumors say his Paw pads can send anyone flying for 3 days and nights, only he knows where he sends them." Says Sentomaru.
'You just answered him.' thought Yash,"See it isn't certain that Zoro has vanished so don't lose hope just yet." Yash's words restored the hope in everyone's eyes
Luffy took a battle stance and charged at Kuma,"Where did you send Zoro?"
'Looks like there isn't anything more I can do here.' Yash looked around a way to pass towards the Groove 1 but the only way was being blocked by the fight of Kizaru and Rayleigh.
"Old Man Rayleigh is incredibly powerful." Yash thought out loud as he passed them.
"Where do you think you are going?" Kizaru pointed his fingertip towards Yash and shoot a laser beam casually while fighting Rayleigh which pierce the chest of Yash.
**Live an unthinkable present**
"Huh?" Sitting in the Shakky's rip off bar, Yash suddenly takes a huge gasp.
"Oh! Yash-chan was the milk not to your liking as well?" Shakky says with a smile.
"I am sorry but I need to step out for a bit, My dog seems to be missing." Yash apologises and get up from his seat.
"You must be really fond of it if you are willing to go out in this chaos to find her.
Yash smiles and nod," It's like She is the only family I have left."
