Chapter 10: The Gladiatorial Arena
Luffy's glare was intimidating and dashing, As he defeated Bakura with sheer brute strength, all of the spectators went silent with shock.
"He is strong, He knocked out Bakura in one hit." Says one girl from Kuja pirates," He didn't use Haki."
"Then that was just his brute strength?"
"You Guys are screwed up, That woman... She turned your comrades into stone, HOW CAN YOU ALL JUST SIT THERE AND LAUGH." Luffy yelled.
'He is something else. First I wanted to side with him because our destination and goals align but he turned me into his Fan.' Thought Yash as he ran towards Luffy from the Stage.
"Luffy! Are you alright?" Yash says as he enters the stage.
"Another man? This is absurd." Says one of the spectators. "How many men did Margret led onto this Island?" Says another girl in audience.
"Ah! It is you, if you are alright, others should be alright as well. Where are they?" Ask Luffy with a gleaming eyes.
"I am sorry to disappoint but I was alone when I wake up here." Yash explained to Luffy.
"How infuriating! Another Man on our sacred land, You even brought another one of yours here?" Says Boa Hancock in disgust, siting on her seat with Both Boa sisters on her sides.
"Huh? I didn't brought him with me, I don't know how I got here how could I brought anyone else?" Luffy says without thinking.
"Lies on Lies, Men are such disgraceful creatures." Says people in the Audience.
Yash grits his teeth in frustration," What do you people know about men? As far as I know most men in the world are far noble and kinder than Your Snake empress." Exclaims Yash in anger.
"That savage Man is telling at us!" All the spectators, all of them are girls, starts complaining about how Yash, a man dared to yell at them in such a rude manner and how he was rude to snake empress.
Boa Hancock waved her hand at the audience and everyone fell silent,"Whatever I do... I will be forgiven, The reason for that is, I am beautiful." Every girl in the Audience popped out heart eyes and went crazy for Boa Hancock,"Wouldn't you both agree as well?" But only disgust is seen on Both Luffy and Yash's faces.
"You irritate me." Luffy stated with disgust in his eyes. Boa Hancock was frightened by Luffy's defiance and says,"This can't be..No man exists in the world who don't want to be my slave."
"You are not different than those modern days femenists or Karens" Yash states but Boa was dumbfounded about both of those words but knew Yash was getting disgusted by her.
"I can't stand those men's existence." Boa exclaimed.
"How dare you be so rude to Snake empress, Hurry up and execute them." Audience starts to chant the word,"Execution ".
"Go, Marigold and Sandersonia, Take those Men's head."
Luffy and Yash are challenged to battle Boa Marigold and Boa Sandersonia in the Amazon Lily arena with the spectators calling for Luffy to be executed. The sisters in their snake forms are ready to fight Luffy and Yash. Boa Marigold in the Salamander form and Boa Sandersonia in the Forked Snake Form.
"So you guys have powers too huh?" Luffy mumble under his breath.
"You! What's your name?" Luffy ask Yash.
"I am Yash." Yash gulp at the serious tone of Luffy.
"You fought alongside us on Sabaody so Don't worry about them, since we are now friends." Luffy declared as he points at the Boa sister,"Only focus on defending yourself."
"Alright. Thanks for your help." Yash exclaims as he takes the normal fighting stance that he used to train with before coming to this world.
"There is no need to say thanks, We are friends now, arnt we." Luffy smiles and giggle, Yash's respect for Luffy increased once again.
"The younger sister's snake pit dance is about to start." Exclaims some girls in Audience,"The cursed younger sisters are so lovely too."
"Cursed? What are they talking about? It clearly looks like they have eaten Devil fruits to me." Luffy says.
"Devil fruit?" Yash wondered out loud," what is that?"
"You don't know? They are fruits that give you powers, Look I have eaten the Gum Gum fruit." Luffy stretches his cheek.
"Oh! So that must be how That tall bear looking like guy send us flying here." Yash realises, feeling a sudden pain in his head,"Ah What is this pain?" Yash Grabbed his head with one hand.
"Hey are you alright?" Luffy ask Yash as he see him going through mental distress.
Yash feel unconscious on the scene," Dammit. I hope he is alright." says Luffy as he picks up Yash and took him to the surface of the ditch around the arena, along with the other stone statue of Sweet Pea, Marguerite, and Aphelandra on the battle arena.
Luffy takes a deep breath,"I am sorry, because of me you three ended up like this, Aah only if chopper was here, he might have known how to turn you all back to normal."
"Are you sure you shouldn't be concerned about yourself?" Asked Boa Sandersonia.
"Shut up! I will do what I want." Luffy jumps back on the arena. "Alright then, all I had to do is beat up your asses right?" Says Luffy as he crack his knuckles.
Everyone starts Laughing in the Gladiatorial arena, "What a joke." "He intends to beat the Boa sisters?" "Men sure are funny when they are near death."
On the other hand,
"Where am I? Yash thought.
"As the threads of fate continue to weave their intricate tapestry, we meet again, dear Yash," the devil's voice slithered through Yash's subconscious like a serpent in the shadows. "Do you feel the weight of destiny pressing down upon you, binding you to its will?"
Yash's mind, still clouded by the remnants of unconsciousness, struggled to make sense of the sinister presence invading his thoughts. He felt a chill course through his veins as the devil's words wrapped around him like suffocating chains, tightening their grip with each passing moment.
"You may wonder, dear Yash, how you came to find yourself in this web of time and space," the devil whispered, its voice dripping with a malice that sent shivers down Yash's spine. "But fear not, for I am the architect of your journey. It is I who have granted you the ability to traverse the currents of time, using death as a conduit to reshape your reality."
Images flickered before Yash's closed eyes once more – fragments of memories, twisted and distorted by the devil's influence. He felt a surge of confusion and anger rise within him, a primal instinct urging him to reject the darkness that threatened to consume him.
"You are but a pawn in my grand design, Yash," the devil taunted, its voice echoing with sinister glee. "But you possess a power beyond comprehension – the power to defy fate itself. Embrace it, and I shall grant you even greater abilities. Deny it, and you shall remain a mere puppet, dancing to the whims of destiny."
Yash's unconscious mind churned with turmoil as the devil's words echoed through his thoughts. He knew he stood at a crossroads, a pivotal moment that would shape the course of his destiny for eternity.
"How about it? Let me show you a bit of a sample of what I am offering to you."
As Devil says so he takes over the Yash's body. Yash being able to see everything , hear everything and sense everything but can't do anything, With a blast Devil stepped on the air using Yash's body and climbed above the Gladiatorial arena.
"He had Devil Fruit abilities?" explaimed Luffy.
The devil, now in control of Yash's body, looked down at Luffy with a menacing grin. "Oh, Luffy, you have no idea what powers lie within this vessel," it spoke in Yash's voice, dripping with malice. "And if you're not careful, you'll soon find out."
