A New Dawn, A New Day.

Sakura teleported home after entering their home in konoha.

A frown was hidden on her face along with a tinge of sadness that remained in her eyes painted behind the façade of joyous happiness on her face.

Normally she'd be exhausted because it was still a terrible day in the office, but today she was focused.

It had been seven hours since they returned home from their adventurous trip through time. Something that had only ended with the deaths of the people she had grown close to.

On top of which as soon as Megumi teleported them home he told her something strange.

'I will be dying for a few hours until my body catches up. I will wake up from my coma then. Don't worry it's just a little side effect of what happened. I'll tell you after I catch up with you.'

After he told her that, he collapsed into the bed. Since everyone else had already left for work, Sakura followed, not wanting to arouse anyone's suspicions about where they had been the night before.

At work where she was met with a soft interrogation from her mother, she remained silent not wanting to inform all the others about their trip. Sakura wanted to make sure that nothing about informing others off their trip will cause errors in the fabric of fates.

Entering through the tall, always shaded, and heavy marble doors, Sakura half jogged her way towards the bedroom where she'd last left Megumi.

Her trip however was cut short when she found stone dust and debris along one of the corridors.

The walls were painted with what resembled their times in Roran but Sakura also found a few panels that she couldn't remember happening.

'Was there a fight?'

'No it looks too clean to be a fight.'

'Why isn't Megumi responding if he's awake then?'

She walked through the corridors and ended up eventually following the creative curses of Megumi as she got closer to him.

"Damn you mannequins! Are you mocking your pack leader!?! Clean it up properly you fools! You are robots! Not alive-"

This was something Megumi had picked up after their little adventure through time.

Where and how? Sakura was eager to find out since she just thought Megumi had picked it up for fun.

"You hear that? Someone's here! That means just because you didn't clean up sooner you ruined the surprise! Geez! You fools are troublesome!"

Turning a corner, Sakura found Megumi standing and talking to his marble puppets; The marble maids and butlers who were sweeping the floor to get rid of any dust.

"What? Why are you glaring at me? I didn't make you bad! You learnt how to be bad yourselves! Don't complain about it to me! I should be the one complaining! I'm your pack leader!"

THUNK

One of the maid's standing behind Megumi slammed their brooms into his head and knocked him out.

'For good.'

Sakura did not stop them because she found him annoying too.

The maids and butlers all turned toward Sakura with a sharp fire lit in their unchanging eyes as if they would rebel against her too.

"No, don't worry, you can carry on. I'm just going to take him back to the bed and wake him up inside the mindscape."

The marble puppet's shoulders dropped down as if they exhaled a deep sigh. One of the butlers even raised his hand and gave Sakura a thumbs up which she nodded to and took away Megumi by lugging him over her shoulders.

Throwing Megumi onto the bed, Sakura spoke in a menacing tone.

"How long will you pretend to be asleep?"

"..." Megumi shuddered as he peeked with one of his eyes sort of half winking.

But closed his eyes immediately after seeing Sakura glare at him.

Sigh

With a deep sigh, Sakura sat down on the bed, beside Megumi and gave him her lap to rest his head on.

"What happened?" Sakura asked, running her hands through Megumi's hair.

"You won't believe me even if I tell you about it."

"First tell me about it, then I'll decide if I believe you or not."

"Aw…I thought you'd tell me that you believe me no matter what."

"...."

"I'll tell you after tonight. When everything is over."

"What will be over?"

"Mito-baa san and Hashirama oji-san will be returning soon, then we can show them Uzushiogakure."

"Oh? How did you complete it so soon?"

"I worked hard!"

"...you can't lie your way out of this one you aren't even sweating a little bit."

"Hehe~ You'll see soon."

"...*sigh* what am I going to do with you."

"Come in." Megumi said, stretching his hands around Sakura and hugging her tight.

Sakura wanted to leave but seeing Megumi hug her so tight made her feel something nice inside so she let him stay like that for a while.

"Come on! Let's go!" Megumi exclaimed in excitement as he sat up to look at Sakura's face..

"Where to?"

"Uzushiogakure. I have a surprise waiting for you." Megumi said teleporting the two of them to the spot they were at all those months ago, on the cliff working on bricks and designing plans to build their headquarters.

"Wha-"

Sakura's words got caught in her throat as she began having difficulty speaking, her mouth moving up and down like a goldfish.

"Surprisee!!!!" Did you like it?

"How…" Sakura whispered, aghast.

There were several small camps set up for people to stay in but almost everyone was helping around. A few trying to clear the rubble and a few others mixing it with crushed sea shells and pumice, following Megumi's recipe for making Roman concrete.

She just couldn't believe what was in front of her..

'How are they alive….? I thought we left them to die.'

Turning to look at the excited and happy Megumi, Sakura grew even more shocked when she realized Megumi had done all this and made it possible on his own.

'I'm missing something. Something happened that I didn't see.'

The Uzumaki and the other people of Roran on the scene instantly found Megumi after his loud proclamation to Sakura and gathered around him.

"How are you guys!?" Megumi asked a little excited to get to know everyone here .

"I'm sad! You didn't even recognize me, Aniki!" A lady spoke with a smirk on her face.

"Ha! As if I wouldn't if I knew who you were beforehand! Sara!" Megumi spoke in an exaggerated fashion as he pointed out Sara to be the lady who had initially helped him get rid of Mukade.

"You! You're! Sara!" Sakura asked shocked. Her hands roaming around Sara's body to feel her.

"Hehe! Sakura nee! I am Sara!! You probably didn't recognize me did you!?"

Sakura just remained dumbfound as everyone seemed to be safe and sound. Everyone that she was just mourning for a couple of hours earlier.

"Are all these hundreds of people…."

"Yes! They are all a part of Roran! We saved them!"

"But- how? I don't remember doing anything!?"

"Haha! If you did then that would be a bit embarrassing wouldn't it."

"What are you talking about!?" Sakura exclaimed, uncaring for the other people that were present there. She wanted answers.

"Don't worry, I'll tell everyone later when all the work here is done! We need to help them, they're living in camps right now."

"...ok."

"Alright, everyone! I know you've been working hard the last couple of hours, but I want to get the work done by tonight so that tomorrow night you can all have your perfect homes!"

"What are we going to build?" Sara asked.

"Didn't your mom tell you?"

"No, mom's been setting up the Ryumyaku vein properly once again with the help of the other two. She asked us not to disturb her."

"Oh! That's fine then. I forgot I asked her to do that, I'll explain it once again."

"..."

"Alright everyone that is involved in the construction business! Gather around! This young master is going to show you what we're going to build!"

A few dozen people gathered around Megumi and Sakura in a circle as Megumi used holographic clone seals to display what his ideas were.

"This entire section is going to be the living quarters since it's closer to the river. The industries will be farther away and will be provided a controlled flow of water using canals and aqua ducts." Megumi spoke pointing at the holographic map on display.

"Why not divide the industries and the living areas on different sides of the river?" Sara asked.

"No, it might seem clean now but eventually when the city will expand because of more people, it'll just make the bridges crowded. And I don't want people drinking or using dirty water."

"What about hotels and such? Wouldn't a river view be nice?"

"It would, so for non industrial businesses we can set up a river view area further down the river from where the deltas and the beach are more easily accessible."

"How far away are those industrial businesses going to be?"

"They are going to be on the other side of the O5 council's plateau."

"Why that side?"

"Because during the night, wind will blow inland from the sea and carry all the polluting smoke from the industries away from the population."

"You want us to work at night?"

"No I only want you to let out any gas waste out during the nigh, instead of in the morning."

"Ok."

"The architectural style will closely follow Roran for the living and scenic areas. While it will follow strict codes that we can decide upon later through discussions in the industrial zones."

"Are we going to allow tourists?"

"For now yes, but our main income will come from exporting products that are uniquely made in this region!"

"Like what?"

"A few new inventions that no one would've thought of, yet, I will hand over the blueprints for them later."

"What about farms?"

"They will happen near the deltas, that's the most fertile region to grow crops."

"Hmm...alright, I think we can all agree on this. But what about safety and seals for that?"

"I'm sure you guys are clever enough to figure that out yourselves, I just don't want you to touch the SCP Foundation building,. I have my own seals planned for that, maybe you can add on your seals after I'm done with mine?"

"Understood." Sara nodded.

"Alright that's it for now, let's first finish the living quarters and then we can move on to the various businesses and then to the industrial complexes."

"What about food?" Sara asked with a little panic since she thought Megumi had forgotten about it.

"Ah, don't worry about food, from today food and water will be free for everyone that is a part of the village. Even housing will be free, although you will still be taxed for other things."

Everyone froze for a second when Megumi announced those rules but they couldn't move for a second, it was as if they'd been stunlocked by a flashbang.

"What do you mean Free food, water and shelter!?" Sara asked, after which Sakura interrupted.

"Have you gone crazy!?" Sakura asked Megumi as she shook him.

"Calm down! Calm down! No I haven't gone crazy, I'm sure there'll be more than enough money don't worry. Of course there'll be limits but they'll be enough to fed you properly so that you don't have to remain hungry."

"But then what are we working for if all of us have food and shelter!?"

"Why should I treat you like donkeys and feed you only if you do work? Aren't you adults? Just do something you really want to do! Work because you like doing something instead of just food and water."

"..."

Everyone became dumbfounded but looking at the seriousness in Megumi's eyes they knew they couldn't change his mind.

"Alright...but I have to ask Mom about this." Sara said, giving up and thinking her mom would save them and knock some sense into Megumi.
