208 A Calm.

Late in the afternoon, Megumi teleported in front of a store, softly knocked on the door, and waited outside for it to open.

"Greet-" The person who opened the door froze upon seeing Megumi there but he immediately continued what he was doing.

"Greetings Megumi-sama."

"Hai, hai, you don't need to be so upfront with me, I'm not going to bite."

"No no, how could I be lax with you Megumi-sama!"

"Fine. Suit yourself." Megumi nodded and stepped into the store, ignoring the undertone of ramblings of the young red-haired man who had opened the door for Megumi.

Walking around, Megumi noticed the variety of scrolls and sections inside the store, "Are there any serious jutsus in the store that could be used for harm?"

"No Megumi-sama! We took care to remove all the Jutsu that might be harmful and only left the ones labeled Safe by the SCP organization."

"That's good." Megumi nodded as he pulled out a scroll randomly from the origami section and read the jutsu that allowed people to create the pinwheel Mebuki used to calm him as a baby.

'Ha! I didn't know Mom donated this one.'

Placing the jutsu back, Megumi picked up a new Jutsu scroll under the water elemental section.

"Do you know who donated this jutsu?" Megumi asked the staff member who was closest to him.

"It's written on the base of the scroll, here." The member pointed out.

"Ah! Tsuna-nee donated this? Makes sense." Megumi thought out loud as he spotted the fake money clone jutsu that Tsunade made for some reason.

Megumi then moved on to the illusion jutsu scrolls where he spotted the Jutsu Hashirama donated, "Rainbo jutsu? What does this do?"

Picking up and unfurling the scroll a little, Megumi read through the jutsu and found something quite amazing.

"Hahaha, he made a Jutsu that can turn your tears into rainbows. What a funny jutsu. No doubt inspired from Manga he got when he traded information with me."

Megumi nodded and closed the scroll.

Finally nodding at all the workers who looked at him while biting their lips in tension, Megumi spoke calmly to make one last check for today evening.

"You've prepared enough copies of each scroll right?"

"Yes Megumi-sama! We've also made an index for the inventory using the Grimoire at the front desk!"

"Good." Megumi nodded and then announced a short news before he left.

"You can have double the salary for this month if you perform well without any accidents."

It took a few seconds for the workers to catch up but Megumi had already left closing the door.

As soon as the door slid close with a *thud*, Megumi heard the loud cheers of those inside with a short smile on his face.

"YAAAAYIEIIEEEE!!!!"

Megumip looked at the still yellowish sun that was close to the horizon and decided to visit someone else.

Teleporting to his next destination, Megumi arrived outside the house of a wealthy looking person.

*knock* *knock*

"Yeah! Coming!"

Not even a few seconds later, Sara opened the door as she looked around a little confused until she looked below and spotted Megumi.

"Megumi nii!! What are you doing here?!"

"Ready for your crowning ceremony?"

"Ha! As if people will choose me to become the Kage!"

"Of course they'll choose you! Who else is there to choose!?"

"They'll choose you you'll see!"

"You don't know!?"

"What don't I know?" Sara asked leaning a little backward to invite Megumi inside.

"I'm not taking part in the voting as a candidate.", Megumi explained stepping into the house.

"What!? I thought you'd be running too with how involved you were in making the SCP organization and becoming its first president!?"

"Being the president of one this is enough. I think it'll be better if we can show just how the organization and the village can work seamlessly with each other from the first run."

"It'll be too much work. I remember mom being busy all the time when I was little!"

"Why do you think I didn't become the Kage." Megumi nodded in agreement.

"*sigh* What do you want me to do?" Sara asked.

"It'll be nice if you decide all that yourself, else if someone thinks I asked you to do something, it'll make the village a sort of puppet to the SCP organization for the rest of time."

"You're not wrong but you can at least give me a direction!"

"Then..how about moving ahead with the theme of comradeship?"

"Comradeship?"

"Yes, add comradeship to everything. From missions to running the village. Make everything dependent on a group always, sure there can be a leader, but make it so no one can become the leader without the support of the group it leads."

"...fine. I'll keep that in mind."

"Then? Ready for everything else?"

"I hope I am! I had to handle everything when Mom retired in Pure Land."

"I know you'll do well, don't worry."

"*sigh* I hope so."

"No need to hope so, I know you'll do it. Didn't you used to say when you were little? You were going to become as strong as your mom?"

"Aghh!! Don't remind me about embarrassing things!"

"Haha. Little Sara! What was your name? Sara Scarlet?"

"How am I still unable to defeat her? She has an armor for every situati…"

As Megumi and Sara spoke before the crowning ceremony, Sakura heaved a sigh of relief at having sold nearly three hundred units of the AR glasses before the end of the fair.

"Tsunade-sensei, you can rest, we're done!" Sakura exclaimed and collapsed into Tsunade's arms resting herself as well as Tsunade collapsed into a chair.

"Grandma! Grandpa! I'm jealous!" Tsunade exclaimed.

"Jealous? Why?" Mito asked a bit confused.

"Because of your puppet bodies! You don't feel tired at all!"

"Really?" Sakura asked amazed, wondering if she should ask Megumi to make her a puppet body too.

"Haha~! That's true. But we can't feel much else in these bodies either."

"That's true."

"Grandpa?"

"Huh? What happened?" Hashirama asked looking at Tsunade.

"What do you think about today's attack?"

"Oh, you knew we noticed?"

"I don't doubt Megumi told all of you about it."

"He did indeed. He vomited afterwards too." Sakura said causing Tsunade to form a frown on her otherwise blank face.

"He's still not used to such violence. He didn't realize that only the spies were being killed and almost shouted before I blocked his mouth and Sakura explained everything to him."

"*sigh* but what do you think of that old man Minato fought?"

"I think he's still hiding a lot.", Hashirama said with a solemn tone.

"Megumi told me that he thinks the old man mastered all the five elements like you."

"I don't doubt it. But I also don't think that those are his main weapons."

"What would be his main weapon then?"

"I think he becomes serious only when he uses his fate jutsus."

"Wouldn't the Mugenjutsugakure shinobi know those Jutsus too?"

"I think so too, if they do, Megumi is in luck since he can figure out how to finally kill that old man."

"Wouldn't he have already figured it out since he spent so long with them already?"

"I don't know but I think he already did." Sakura interrupted from Tsunade's arms.

"Why then hasn't he revealed it?" Tsunade asked but Sakura looked at Caroline instead.

"It is true." Caroline said, "He did already ask Seramu about the jutsu."

Caroline then thought back to the time she along with Megumi heard Seramu explain how she thought the Jutsu Hagoromo used to remain immortal worked.

"I think it puts an infinite distance between him and death on his fate line.", Seramu said looking at the complicated chakra pattern forming inside Hagoromo's body when Megumi had stabbed him in Sungakure on the beach.

"Is that also how he teleports through space?"

"Yes, something like that. He probably copies his fate regularly and when he gets hurt in one of them he switches with a copy from earlier."

"Huh…that just makes killing him impossible doesn't it?" Megumi asked Seramu.

"It does, but at the same time he can be killed if he is drained of chakra and can not switch with his copied fates."

"I don't believe for a second that he doesn't have a backup source like the Hundred healings seal Tsuna-nee has or even something like Gelel stones."

"I don't doubt such things too."

"So then how are we to kill him?"

"Fate is a complicated thing. There are two types of fates, one is permanent and another is non-permanent."

"Two types? You mean like things that can be changed and things that cannot?"

"Exactly. Death is a permanent fate that everyone has."

"But you just said Hagoromo keeps himself an infinite distance away from the fate of death."

"He does and that is exactly the problem."

"Problem?"

"Yes, he's dying just so slowly that it can be classified as never."

"So you mean to say, even if we kill him he'll just keep dying slowly?"

"Exactly my point."

"That doesn't help us at all then!"

"No, it doesn't directly but it does indirectly."

"How?"

"You just have to kill him in the past."

"What?" Megumi asked a little dumbfounded.

"Since he's already dying, what you need to do is make him cease to exist in the future."

"...so you're saying kill him in the past so that the infinite distance between him and his death becomes zero because of a paradox?"

"Exactly."

"But how do we kill him in the past when he has the same protection all along!?"

"I don't know!? That's for you younglings to figure out."

Caroline narrated the events just as it was and everyone immediately understood why Megumi hadn't revealed anything yet.

Since they basically had nothing.

With a wry smile Hashirama spoke first, "And here I was thinking he was still just lazing around."

"He always looks like he's lazing around and everything he knows he just knows somehow?" Sakura stood up for Megumi talking sarcastically to Hashirama.

"Fine! Fine! I get it! No need to go ham on me because I don't fully support your little fiance."

"Hmpf. You better know Megumi made those bodies you're standing in too. He does basically everything around here." Sakura retorted and leaned closer into Tsunade's shoulder and closed her eyes to fall asleep after continuously using mini clones to produce AR glasses.

"Hey! Wake up! You need to watch the new year festival in Mugejutsugakure!" Tsunade shook Sakura awake as she wondered for a second if it was worth it.

'Hmm..Megi..' Sakura spoke using their mental connection.

'You done selling stuff?' Megumi asked back.

'Yeah, but it's going to be worth it to watch the festival?'

'I promise its' going to be worth it.'

'Fine, I'll stay awake!'

'You're tired?'

'Yeah.'

'Why don't you eat those energy pills you made in your last life?'

'Oh! Yeah! I could make those again!'

'Cool. I'm talking to Sara right now. Tell me when I can teleport you here.'

'Fine.'

Sakura opened her eyes again and looked at Tsunade.

"Tsundae-sensei, I need a few things."

"Why?"

"To make super soilder pills."

"....?"

"I made them last time.", Sakura said without explaining much as she understood what Sakura meant.

"Fine, you can use my stuff." Tsunade handed over a seal from her shinobi pouch to Sakura.

Checking the seal Sakura was quite surprised at the amount of things it contained and wondered how she had so many materials on her right now.

"Before you ask, yes I won them while gambling. Yes, I made Megumi turn the odds in my favor." Tsunade nodded with a smirk on her face.

"I too want to gamble without having to lose!" Hashirama exclaimed out loud but Mito put a stop to it by glaring at him.

"You don't even have money to gamble away." She reminded kindly causing Hashirama to sit on the ground in disappointment as Tsunade smiled in slight pity.
