My Xiao Wu!

"W-What? Brother Yan is from the Spirit Hall?" Xiao Wu was taken aback and exclaimed in disbelief as she stood up from the sofa. Ah Rou nodded "Yeah, I came to know about it just today..."

"Zhuqing, you already know about this?" Xiao Wu asked as she looked at Zhu Zhuqing who is not surprised by her mother's words.

Zhu Zhuqing nodded her head "Yeah!" Ah Yin let out a sigh as she knew that the Spirit Hall is the one who killed Ah Rou once in the past.

She also knew it is not Xuan Yan's fault because all of this happened before he arrived in this world.

Xiao Wu's eyes trembled as tears welled up in her eyes. The enemy she swore to destroy is where her Brother Yan is from?

Zi Ji just frowned as she doesn't know what is going on. Why is Xiao Wu crying if Young Lord is from the Spirit Hall?

Ah Rou reassured "You don't have to think about anything. It is not Yan's fault! He is the one who revived me. I am alive and well right now, so it's okay!"

Xiao Wu nodded timidly "I-I know, mom..." She took a deep breath "I'll be outside..." she said and walked out from the house.

*creek* Everyone turned their eyes and saw Xuan Yan at the doorstep. He walked in and feeling the weird atmosphere, his eyebrows frowned. What happened?

Today he spent the whole day with his mom and Mo Xing. In the evening he spent his time with Bibi Dong and Hu Liena and returned now during the night.

"Where is Sister Tao?" Xuan Yan walked in and he sat beside Ah Yin. "She is with Erlong, helping her with the arrangements for the Inter-academy tournament."

Sister Tao is still helping her, huh. For the past few days, it is Ma Xiaotao who is helping Liu Erlong with the Academy stuff in his place. "Xiao Wu?" he asked as he leaned on Ah Yin and everyone sat silently not replying.

"Young Lord, she is outside!" Zi Ji replied. "Outside? What is she doing there?"

"Husband, she knew you are from the Spirit Hall!" Hearing Ah Yin's words he took his head from her shoulder in surprise.

He then turned to see Ah Rou "Aunt Rou..."

She shook her head "No, Yan! I know it has nothing to do with you and I am already grateful for reviving me. You go and see Xiao Wu!"

"I'll be back!" he said and disappeared.

"Don't worry Ah Rou, Husband will console her!" Ah Yin said and Ah Rou nodded with a smile.

Using his Eyes of Heaven, Xuan Yan observed Xiao Wu seated on a tree in the small forest that is surrounding Liu Erlong's house. She is observing the moon with her hair spread out sitting on a branch.

"Xiao Wu!" he called gently as he appeared beside her. Xiao Wu was startled and turned her head to see Xuan Yan sitting beside her "B-Brother Yan!"

"What are you doing here? Xiao Wu?" Xuan Yan asked and Xiao Wu's eyes wavered "Brother Yan, I..."

Smiling gently Xuan Yan patted her head "It is true that I am from the Spirit Hall." Xiao Wu's cheeks turned reddish as she looked down.

"When I first saw you in the forest, I can't say about my identity because you told me that your mother was killed by the Spirit Hall. But I saw your mother's body under the lake of life with my eyes."

Xiao Wu was surprised with her mouth open. Xuan Yan's smile was filled with tenderness as he gently caressed her cheek, his touch soft and comforting.

Once again, tears began to fill her eyes "Brother Yan!" So the Revival Light he used to revive her mother is not something he got by coincidence. He searched for it and worked hard to complete the dangerous Life Goddess trials. He had gone to great lengths to obtain it all just to revive her mother. H-He...

Xuan Yan chuckled faintly and held her chin as he rubbed her tears. Seeing his golden eyes gazing at her with deep affection Xiao Wu whimpered "Of course, it's because I love you, Silly girl!"

Hearing the love and tenderness in his voice, Xiao Wu's eyes softened and her heart palpated with sweet emotions hearing his sweet confession. "I love ..yo..u.."

She can't continue her words as Xuan Yan rubbed his thumb across her lips. Xiao Wu couldn't help but blink her eyes repeatedly in confusion.

With a gentle touch, he slowly brought her face closer to his. Suddenly Xiao Wu realized and her face immediately flushed bright red as she was embarrassed.

She turned her head in shame, but Xuan Yan still grabbing her chin directed her to look at his eyes. Seeing his firm gaze at her lips, her heart pounded quickly in exhilaration. (A/n: Your heart is not the only thing that's gonna get pounded..*ahem*)

Closing her eyes she mustered her courage and leaned forward, awaiting the kiss. Xuan Yan didn't leave her hanging and pressed her lips against hers.

Her body trembled feeling his soft lips sucking on her lips. and she mimicked his movements, reciprocating the gentle kiss. He savored the taste of her full lips as he continued to suck on her upper and lower lips, relishing in the delicate flavor.

She also did the same sucking on his lips relishing the soft and comfortable feeling.

Under the moonlight which is illuminating the world, a pair of young lovers are kissing and sharing their love.

"Oh! They are kissing..." Zhu Zhuqing said in a low voice. Ah Yin and Zi Ji nodded with a smile on their faces. Ah Rou smiled wryly, why are they spying on my daughter?

Now they are all standing behind a tree not far away from Xuan Yan and Xiao Wu and they can see them from there.

"This reminds me of the time back in the Lake of Life, Young Lord and Ah Yin were dancing in the air and kissing each other...Fufu" Zi Ji hushed with a chuckle.

"Z-Zi Ji, you saw that?" Ah Yin exclaimed looking at her. The others also chuckled upon hearing this.

"Shh...lower your voice. Even Bi Ji also saw that." Zi Ji said and Ah Yin blushed as they saw her intimate moment with her husband.

"They finished kissing..." Zi Ji said. Ah Rou was ashamed as she was spying on her daughter making out with her lover.

"Hm? What ar- *umghh*" Liu Erlong arrived there and before she could utter a word four hands closed her mouth. Ma Xiaotao who is behind her was startled. What is happening?

"Shhh!" x4 Ah Yin, Zi Ji, Ah Rou and Zhu Zhuqing hushed placing their finger on their lips.

Shocked, Liu Erlong hurriedly nodded and they retracted their hands. "What's happening? What are you guys doing here?" Liu Erlong asked in a low voice.

Ah Yin smiled and pointed at the top of the tree. Liu Erlong frowned and looked above. Yan?

Ma Xiaotao also saw him. Brother Lord?

"He is bac- *umgh*" Ah Yin again closed her mouth with her hand "Why are you yelling?"

Liu Erlong nodded with a thumbs up. I won't talk louder.

Ah Yin withdrew her hand "Yan is back? I want to talk with him..."

"You can do that tomorrow!" Ah Yin hushed and Liu Erlong sighed looking at Xiao Wu snuggling with Xuan Yan.

Xiao Wu retracted the hug and Xuan Yan affectionately patted her head. "Xiao Wu, let me comb your hair.."

With a sweet smile on her face, Xiao Wu handed him a wooden comb. Then, she turned around, showing her back to him, and Xuan Yan gently started combing her lustrous brown locks.

Xiao Wu Xiao Wu let out a small laugh "This brings back memories, of the first time Brother Yan combed my hair near the Lake of Life!"

Xuan Yan laughed hearing her words. Xiao Wu was perplexed "Why are you laughing Brother Yan."

"I just recalled the first time I met you. Do you remember what you did to me when I first saw you?" he asked with a playful chuckle still combing her hair.

Xiao Wu blushed with a red tinge on her face in embarrassment as she remembered what she did. She jumped on top of him, pushed him onto the floor, and bit his cheek.

"You really looked so good and your cheeks also looked so delicious. So, in that moment..."

He giggled "You even called me a little plum. Haha!"

Her face turned even redder "Brother Yan...At that time, you looked tasty, so...stop saying those embarrassing things."

With chatter and laughter, soon he combed her hair into a scorpion braid. "It looks good on you, Xiao Wu!"

Xiao Wu smiled gently "Thank you, little plum!"

Xuan Yan chuckled and Xiao Wu rested comfortably against his chest, their eyes fixated on the breathtaking night sky adorned with countless twinkling stars and a crescent-shaped moon.
