Ice Empress!

"Urghh!" a pained and frustrated breath was heard from the snow dome as if the person inside was enduring something. Seeing Xuan Yan and Bi Ji moving towards the river...

"T-They are about to leave...tsk ..." her voice was crisp and sweet but there was a trace of pain in this sweet voice.

"Those bastards... are really cruel.. slaughtering in my Extreme North. Those two humans are so strong... urgh.. I-I hope Lady Xue will be safe." she said bitterly.

Then she again glimpsed through the small hole in the snow dome "Those humans.. left? I-I have to escape..."

"Hm? What are you doing here?" A clear voice was heard and Xuan Yan flicked his finger *woosh* the huge ice dome was blown away revealing a large... scorpion?

Xuan Yan glimpsed at the beautiful scorpion in front of him. The scorpion has a transparent emerald green color, without any flaws, and the armor on its body is as pure as crystal.

Two big yellowish-orange eyes are shining with brilliant light, and a pair of huge scorpion claws are covered with hexagonal transparent scales, like diamonds, reflecting colorful light in the air.

"Hm.. The Ice Jade Scorpion Empress of nearly 400,000 years old... You are the second strongest around here right?" Xuan Yan asked looking at the orangey eyes.

*thriek* The Scorpion was shocked and took two steps back "Oh? You know about this Empress?" a cold voice was heard as the scorpion glanced at the white-haired young man in front of her.

Bi Ji who is still clutching onto Xuan Yan's arm marveled looking at the beautiful scorpion "So this is the Ice Empress..." but a frown took over her face looking at the injuries on the Scorpion's body.

"En. It's a surprise that I found it as soon as I entered the core area..." 

Anger flashed in the scorpion's eyes looking at Xuan Yan casually talking and it opened its mouth "Since I can't just hide... I'll kill you too... YOU RUTHLESS HUMANS..." it screamed with a deep-seated anger brewing within and a green beam materialized from its mouth.

Suddenly the temperature dropped even more and the temperature reached the level of Ultimate Ice. This sudden drop in temperature caught Bi Ji completely off guard, causing her to be taken aback by the intense and piercing cold that surrounded her.

*feen* The green ice beam was shot at Xuan Yan at an instant speed. Xuan Yan just raised his finger and the green beam hit his index finger *thrieeeekk*

The jade-green beam of light collapsed and broke into nothingness. The scorpion was completely taken aback when it saw that its strongest ice was effortlessly shattered by his finger.

"That is rude, to attack someone like that... don't you think?" Xuan Yan said swiftly grabbing the scorpion's tail tightly.

"Y-You.. let go of my tail..." the usual cold voice contained a hint of shyness now. The tail is the most sensitive spot of a scorpion's body and Xuan Yan is holding it right now. This made her both embarrassed and angry.

The Ice Empress struggled hard to escape from the grip but she couldn't move away. 'W-What power...' It's as if she was held by a mountain, she is utterly helpless.

"Hm!" Xuan Yan yanked the delicate tail and threw the scorpion away. *thud* The giant scorpion flew and fell on the soft snow making it a little dizzy.

"How dare you throw this Empress?!" As an Ice Jade Scorpion Empress and one of the strongest beasts in the Far North. She is arrogant and has her own pride. But this human is playing with her.

Her voice grew colder, and she expressed her discontent with a tinge of disdain "Y-You humans are always like this... Hunting and massacring us..." She lamented their relentless pursuit and merciless annihilation of her kind.

*swoosh* Xuan Yan appeared beside the Ice Empress with a frown on his face "Humans are hunting you...?" Humans rarely come to the Far North and someone dares to come here and massacre the Spirit beasts? 

As he took a quick look at the wounds scattered across the Scorpion's body, his sharp gaze became focused, sensing a distinct energy emanating from it. Hmm.. this is...It seems that there was more to this situation than initially met the eye.

"What is going on here?" Xuan Yan inquired softly. The scorpion, with a cold snort "Now you are pretending to be ignorant? huh?"

With a scowl, the scorpion intently glared at Xuan Yan and spoke with unspoken anger flashing in its eyes "YOU MASSACRED ALL OF US SPIRIT BEASTS IN THE FAR NORTH! YOU COLLECTED THEIR CORPSES AND BLOOD... Y-YOU HATEFUL HUMANS... I WILL KILL YOU ALL!!" overwhelmed by fury she screamed at the top of her lungs.

Bi Ji's eyes trembled in shock hearing this "They are slaughtering the spirit beasts for the corpses and blood? H-How could they..." 

A sigh left Xuan Yan's lips "Those damn Evil Spirit Masters.. seems like they have came here too...Bi Ji, you heal her..." 

[So this is the reason, the mission is emergency... you have to come and save these spirit beasts immediately.]

The only person she knows who has greater cultivation than her is the Snow Empress, Xue Di... other than her in this Far North "You are an Emerald Swan? Are you from the Star Dou forest?" the Ice Empress asked in surprise.

Bi Ji nodded her head with a smile as she walked near Ice Empress "You can transform to human form, right?"

The Scorpion gazed at Xuan Yan for a second 'Is he also a spirit beast?' As Bi Ji is a spirit beast, the Ice Empress believed her and *swoosh* transformed into her human form.

Bi Ji squinted her eyebrows looking at the unusual injuries on the Ice Empress's body and gingerly crouched down, delicately reaching out to touch her hand "Did you get stung by a bee or something and this... unusual energy..."

The Ice Empress scoffed "I also felt weird energy from those Spiri masters... something more dark. And it is one of those Titled Douluo who hurt me like this..."

Nevertheless, Bi Ji used her Life energy to heal the Ice Empress's body. In the meantime, the Ice Empress glanced at Xuan Yan who was standing there quietly.

The Ice Empress couldn't help but let out a heavy sigh "I was really useless... my clan's spirit beasts paved the way for me to escape and I can't even heal my body...." her voice was filled with sorrow and resentment.

*shreik* Xuan Yan crouched down in front of her with a smile "Who told you that it is impossible to heal the injury?"

Bi Ji and the Ice Empress blinked their eyes in surprise "Human, can you heal me?" Only then did it hit Bi Ji about Xuan Yan's unparalleled powers. He is a man who even turned a 50,000 spirit ring into a million-year-old spirit ring right in front of her eyes.

Bi Ji's lips curved into a smile, radiating a sense of pride as she confidently uttered "If anything, only the Young Lord could heal you..." The Ice Empress was stunned by the praise of Bi Ji. It was apparent that she held him in high regard, continuously referring to him with utmost respect.

Xuan Yan lightly chuckled, his actions filled with tenderness as he carefully grasped the Ice Empress's soft hand. The Ice Empress, unaccustomed to the sensation of a man's touch, felt a faint rosy blush tint her cheeks, as this intimate contact was a completely unknown experience for her.

"You just have to burn the dark energy and then heal her..." Xuan Yan said and precisely used his void flame to burn the dark energy.

*frissh* "What are you..." The Ice Empress yelled as her body suddenly lit up with a green flame but she shut her mouth feeling the refreshing life energy which is healing her injuries. H-He can really heal... amazing.

"By the way, your name is Bing Bing. right?" Xuan Yan asked healing her injuries with Life Flame. The unexpected mention of her name caused Bing Bing's eyes to widen in disbelief. She stammered in shock "Huh? H-How did you know that?"

"I know some things..." he spoke as he finished the healing. "How do you feel now?" Xuan Yan asked looking at her and Bing Bing nodded her head "En. The wounds are completely recovered. You are really something..."

Xuan Yan stood up gently pulling Bing Bing's hand and making her stand up. "So, now tell me what really happened..."
