A Dinner date?

Shui Mei, who had been kneeling on the ground, finally raised her head to meet the gaze of Xuan Yan, standing before her "Y-Your Highness..." 

Xuan Yan was quite amused that she was kneeling till now and smiled "Get up, Mei!" Shui Mei obediently stood, rubbing her knees to alleviate the discomfort caused by her prolonged kneeling.

A sigh left Xuan Yan's lips as he leaned forward gently, his fingers tenderly brushing aside the blue hair that had fallen across her face.  "Well, I kinda forgot about you.. so I was late..." he kinda felt bad for making her kneel all this time for nothing.

Shui Mei was lightly flustered, a blush tingeing her cheeks as she felt his gentle touch. She shook her head with sincerity, her eyes reflecting her deep respect and affection for him "No, Your Highness... I'm just glad you took the time to see me, even if you're busy."

This caused Xuan Yan to chuckle. Busy time? "I was just teasing you... nothing else." Shui Mei smiled seeing his gentle eye and nodded "I have to say sorry for always teasing you.. Your Highness."

Xuan Yan's fingers continued to caress her cheek and Shui Mei chuckled in her mind. He is teasing me now? "You don't need to address me so formally, Mei. Just talk to me as you used to..."

Shui Mei gave a small nod "Yes, Mr.Yan..." "How is your body? Do you feel numb..." Xuan Yan asked, his concern evident, given that she had been kneeling for hours.

Shui Mei shook her head noticing his concern "No, Mr.Yan. I am a Spirit Douluo so my body is quite strong..." Xuan Yan nodded and then glanced at Shui Wuchang who was sleeping on the couch.

Shui Mei noticed his gaze "Chang'er was just accompanying me till now." Xuan Yan softly nodded "Mei, you haven't eaten anything, right?"

Shui Mei spoke waving her head "Well, I haven't eaten anything since afternoon. Don't worry Mr.Yan. I will go and prepare something to eat."

Xuan Yan kept his smile "Since I made you so hungry... let me take you for dinner." Shui Mei was startled, Dinner with... him? "No, no, Mr.Yan... I don't want to annoy you."

But Xuan Yan gently grabbed her hand pulling her "Let me..." Shui Mei's eyes trembled, her heart racing as he held her hand. "B-But Mr.Yan, if I go out with you... um.. you are the Holy Son."

Oh, That's right... since everyone knows him now. He can't go outside and eat in the restaurant. A smile appeared on his lips "I will take you to a great place."

Shui Mei hesitated for a second but she nodded her head "Okay then..." Xuan Yan pulled her even closer wrapping his arms around her waist.

Shui Mei, her heart pounding in her chest, couldn't help but feel a rush of emotions as she found herself enveloped in his embrace. "M-Mr. Yan?" she stammered, her cheeks turning a rosy hue. Xuan Yan raised his eyebrow seeing this and asked "Mei, do you remember what I said..."

"Talk to me how you used to talk to me... I don't remember Mei being so timid. Hm? She always has a playful smile on her face and often teases me. Where is that Mei?"

Shui Mei hesitated, still unaccustomed to this version of him. "T-That is you... are Holy Son."

Xuan Yan delicately raised her chin with his fingers "I want to see the real Mei... I am Dio Brando... or do you want me to change my hair and eye color? It must be hard for you to see me like this suddenly."

Shui Mei's eyes softened and she chuckled with a playful glint in her eyes and Xuan Yan smiled seeing her playful chuckle. There she is... Shui Mei grinned and slowly entangled her arms around his neck, her playful spirit returning.

"Now, where is my son-in-law taking this lonely woman tonight?" she asked in a teasing tone. Xuan Yan's hand got tighter around her waist "For a small dinner date?"

Shui Mei nodded with a mischievous smile "Hm? Only a date...?" Xuan Yan leaned in, his lips inches from hers "Does my mother-in-law desire something more than that?"

Shui Mei's fingers traced his back "Maybe...."*chuckle* Her laughter filled the air, and Xuan Yan chuckled in response. *swish*

"Arh, my head..." Shui Mei who is in Xuan Yan's arms rubbed her forehead feeling a little dizzy. "That's because of the space warp... you will feel better after a few seconds."

Shui Mei gave a nod and looked around in wonder. We are in a balcony? "Come on!" Xuan Yan softly pulled her hand into the hall. Shui Mei asked looking around "Mr. Yan, where are we, Spirit Hall?"

Xuan Yan shook his head "No, the Moon Pavilion." Shui Mei was startled "M-Moon Pavilion? Of that Tang Yueha? but why are we here? d-do you know her? We just entered without saying anything... is it really okay?"

This caused Xuan Yan to chuckle "Why are you panicking? Yueha is my woman... and now she is in Spirit City."

E-Eh? "T-Tang Yueha is your woman?" Shui Mei was shocked to know that Tang Yueha was Xuan Yan's woman. Then as Yue'er said he really does have many women. Well of course, with such godly looks and power... he must have.

Xuan Yan nodded "Yeah, so now it's a dinner date with just two of us."

Shui Mei came out of her shock and nodded "En."

"No, No... I am really troubling you. Mr.Yan, don't worry about me. I will go to the Academy and cook my dinner." Shui Mei hastily spoke holding Xuan Yan's hand in the kitchen.

A chuckle left his lips "Since I made you kneel all day, let me make it up for you..." But Shui Mei was adamant, he was the Holy Son, making HIM cook dinner for her? "No, No...please, Mr.Yan. I would feel really bad..."

Xuan Yan smiled wryly seeing this, these days he rarely cooks and it has been some days since he last cooked food for his women. Why are you so stubborn, women?

Shui Mei took a deep breath "Mr. Yan, you go and please sit. Since the ingredients are here... I will cook the dinner."

Xuan Yan nodded his head "You cook and I will help you..." Shui Mei shook her head "No, Mr. Y-" But Xuan Yan closed her lips with his fingers. Mmfgh!

"Just do what I say..."

There is a single plate of food on the table and Shui Mei sighed as Xuan Yan said he already had dinner with his wives. Xuan Yan who is sitting on the chair tapped his lap "Come here, Mei."

H-Huh? Shui Mei was bewildered but then she smiled playfully "You want your mother-in-law to sit on your lap?"

  Xuan Yan casually spoke "It's a date and only you are eating. So you have to accompany me.. come and sit."

A chuckle escaped her lips as she gently walked and placed her ass on his thighs. "How is it, my son-in-law?"

"Good!" he replied, wrapping his arms around her waist as she settled onto his lap. Shui Mei, though initially embarrassed by this position, soon began to enjoy the intimacy of the moment.  Are we taking the teasing a little too far?

With a sigh, Shui Mei began to eat her meal and she was surprised by the great taste. It tastes better than she did it by herself. She quickly began to eat her food and Xuan Yan chuckled seeing her eating so enthusiastically.

After dinner, Shui Mei walked onto the balcony and leaned against the railing, gazing at the night beauty of Heaven Dou City from the vantage point of the Moon Pavilion. The city was aglow with lights, and the night sky was filled with stars. She couldn't help but be captivated by the breathtaking view.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" a soft whisper caressed her ears as a pair of sturdy hands gently hugged her from behind. Shui Mei nodded as she placed her hands above his "Yeah, really beautiful..."

"I have never seen the Heaven Dou City from this height. I think I have to thank my son-in-law for this wonderful date."

"Haha..."

Only silence hung in the air, broken only by the gentle breeze that tousled their hair as they stood on the balcony bathed in moonlight. Shui Mei's gaze dropped to Xuan Yan's hands, which were still wrapped around her waist. 

Her lips curved into a gentle smile as she stroked his hand, a soft and intimate gesture. "Say, Mr. Yan..."

"It is Yan..." she heard a sweet whisper.

*gasp* Shui Mei's eyes widened for a moment but then her eyes quivered as her heart filled with emotions and she couldn't help but chuckle "Say, Y-Yan... are we doing the right thing?"

Shui Mei felt his hands tighten around her waist "What right thing are we talking about?"

Feeling Xuan Yan's hands tighten around her waist, she knew he was fully aware of the unspoken question. Shui Mei's heart pounded crazily and her cheeks turned bright red. After all they both know where this is going... they are not children.

They were both mature adults who understood the implications of their actions. It was hard to deny the allure that had drawn them closer tonight, despite their initial teasing and playful demeanor.

They both knew that what they were doing wasn't normal. Going on a night date with your son-in-law? Sitting sensually on his lap to enjoy the date? Being tightly hugged by him as he places his head on her shoulder on this lonely night? This is normal? Bullshit!

They both know what each other is feeling and thinking. And they both embraced this feeling and they are enjoying it... on this chilly night looking for a warm embrace.

"Are you ok with this? I-I have a Husban-"

"You 'had'..." Xuan Yan's voice was unexpectedly stern, cutting through her hesitation and uncertainty. Her lips trembled, and her heart surged with a tumultuous mix of emotions. 

Shui Mei's opened her lips to speak to speak but as if her words caught in her throat she couldn't say anything. Xuan Yan, who is he? The Holy Son of the Spirit Hall who is an unparalleled genius with terrifying power...

Such an influential figure now spending time with her, hugging her.. expressing his feelings. "Yan, it's not just teasing anymore, y-you know?" Her voice quivered, carrying the weight of her feelings. She was afraid that he might dismiss this as a mere tease.

"I-I can't take it if you just said that this is all a tease. I-I..."

Xuan Yan gently turned her, his gaze filled with desire, and he sealed her words with a soft, unexpected kiss. *gasp* Shui Mei's body stiffened in response to the unexpected kiss, but the shock quickly gave way to a surge of passion. She met his kiss with equal fervor, returning his affection with a sense of longing and intensity. Yan!

Her fingers caressed his back, pulling him closer as they shared a profound kiss savouring his soft and delicate lips. Ah... How sweet.

Haah... Now I really went and done it, the same thing as my Hus- that man.
