Will Allan Foundre POV

Today when I and Uncle Charles went to the hospital Dad looked gloomy and I can hear anger from him, Thana is beside him and she still looked as emotionless as ever but what I can hear from her is contempt.

What happened? Uncle Charles probably noticed something is wrong so he laughed and asked,

"Dereshishi... what happened here? You looked like someone stabbed you in the back." He said jokingly.

"HAHAHAhahaha... ahahaha..." Dad laughed like it was the best joke he had ever heard. Then I can hear Dad's anger reducing or is it more like getting buried deep? It is still there but I can barely hear it.

"What? What's so funny?... Have you finally gone crazy?"

"...haha...haa... it's nothing like that but... " Then Dad looked at me we locked eyes for a few seconds and I can hear his resolve rising, when I was feeling nervous and about to ask him, he continued his sentence and broke eye contact with me.

"... I'll tell you about it later"

Uncle Charles looked at Dad and me back and forth then said, "...right"

"What is it?" I asked cause I know their hiding something from me.

"It's nothing son, now come here and tell me all about your training."

I walked towards Dad's bed and sat on it, but I still continued to press on.

"What is it? I-I think I can help... I've been training diligently every day. If I can help I'll do it!" I said with rising confidence with every word I said, but Dad just laughed at me and ruffled my hair.

"Hahahaha... it's good that you're trying to help but It is not something that you can do. So just focus on something that you can do and leave the rest to us. Ok?"

I just nodded because even I know that I am not any help right now. I've only been training for like a week and right now my body is in pain, but I want to be with them because it gives me a peace of mind.

We just talked for a whole while but at some point, I fell asleep.

"...id what?! That bastard...!"

"Shhh! lower your voice or Will, might wake up."

I did woke up, but I still kept my eyes closed and focused on my hearing.

*Sighhh* "So what are we gonna do now?" Uncle said his voice filled with resignation.

"He said we can't meet together right now but he'll come back to the office in two to three weeks or else they might get suspicious," Dad responded with a calm tone but I can hear anger in him.

"What is he even doing right now?"

"He is asking some of his connections who might have contact with... 𝒕𝒉𝒆...𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐩𝐢𝐧!... *haaah* so that we could negotiate." Dad said and now I can hear hate... but the KIngpin? Is he the one that ordered for us to get killed?! That fucking... bastard! I'll kill him...! He is just a bald dude in a suit right?

"What?! Negotiate! What fuc-" Uncle Charles shouted but got interrupted.

"Shut up! Do you think I also want to negotiate?! But! I have a family now... me and that fucking bastard have a family of our own... *Sighhh* We both have something to protect, unlike you who is trying to be free your whole life..." Then I can feel Dad touching my head and slowly brushing my hair. "We don't want to put them in danger, that is at least something that me and Pierre can both agree on."

... Dad is right. Family is much more important...

"...I'm sorry, I guess I am still impulsive huh?"

"It's fine..."

Then they fell into a comfortable silence for a few minutes. then Dad said,

"A partner could fix that so find one already and settle down."

"Dereshishishi... you know damn well that is not the life I want. I want a life full of-"

"Adventure. Yeah, yeah I know that, everybody knows that. What is so great about going to space anyway? It just sounds fucking lonely to me, in a vast space with nothing around you but silence."

"What?! What the hell are you talking about?! Space is a vast undiscovered place, full of unknown and new adventures to be had. Just imagine it... flying in space and going to the moon just floating freely... anywhere you want to..."

"Yeah, then you'll probably be lost and die alone, the end."

They just continued talking like that while I think about what I can possibly do.

So Kingpin huh? All I can remember about him is, that he is big, fat, and bald like an ugly bastard in a hentai. I know that his real name is Wilson Fisk, he owns Fisk Industries and is also an underworld boss. I think his main antagonist is Spider-man or is it Daredevil? wait... I think he killed the family of the punisher right?

I am not sure... I should've read the comics before I died *sighhh*

I need to learn more about Kingpin...

Should I use the Gacha again next week? or should I wait for at least a 5 GP or better yet the maximum of 10GP? *Agghhh* Do I use it to investigate or... should I maybe use it to heal mom? If so a healing power or an item? *Haahh* So many decisions...

A/N: Short chapter, because I can't decide what should Will do first is it to heal or to investigate the Unknown threat?

I read about a comment to give the MC hamon and I thought to myself 'why didn't I think about that!' then, there is another person that said mana core from TBATE which I thought is cool as well.

So comment if you have any suggestions on what should Will summon next, especially characters.
