Takshak strikes

Shakuni nodded slowly, acknowledging Duryodhan's confidence. However, a flicker of concern remained in his eyes as he contemplated the potential consequences of their actions. Aware of the formidable strength of Aryan Bahubali and the Udra kingdom, he understood the importance of treading cautiously in their dealings with him.

"Very well, Duryodhan. Your confidence is duly noted. But remember, even the mightiest empires have faced downfall due to a single miscalculated step," Shakuni warned, his voice tinged with a hint of caution.

Duryodhan waved off Shakuni's concerns, dismissing them with an air of arrogance. "Uncle, you worry too much. Trust in my capabilities and our kingdom's strength. I will not let anyone or anything threaten my ascension to the throne of Hastinapur."

Shakuni nodded, concealing his lingering doubts behind a facade of acquiescence. "As you wish, my dear nephew. But always remember to keep a keen eye on the ever-shifting tides of fate."

With their conversation concluding, the two conspirators continued to revel in their apparent triumph, unaware of the looming uncertainty that lingered on the horizon.

Meanwhile, far from the political intrigues of Hastinapur, Takshak has finally reached on the outskirts of Udra as the Royal Palace was already faintly visible from this place.

Takshak hissed habitually as he looked towards the direction of the palace and grinned coldly.

"Aryan Bahubali, enjoy your last happy moments because I, Nagraj Takshak, am coming for you, hisssss! "

Takshak's eyes glinted with a fierce determination as he envisioned the moment when he would strike a decisive blow against his adversary.

As the sun began to descend on the horizon, casting a golden hue over the rugged terrain, Takshak slithered closer to the outskirts of the Udra kingdom, his determination unyielding as he prepared to execute his mission. The anticipation of confronting Aryan Bahubali, the formidable ruler of Udra, fueled his venomous resolve, amplifying his predatory instincts and strategic cunning.

As the shadows lengthened and the day began to transition into night, Takshak advanced closer to the heart of the Udra kingdom, each sinuous movement bringing him one step closer to fulfilling his vengeful ambitions.

In the palace, Aryan was currently lying on his bed, thinking about his next plan of action.

"I wonder why the sin of greed has not been activated even after I won three kingdoms? Could it be that I am missing some detail here? Sigh! "

Aryan sighed helplessly.

To be honest, after he easily got his hands on the sin of dloth and the sin of list without doing anything substantial, Aryan had started to think that it wasn't that difficult but now it seems that it was just his good luck for getting those two abilities so easily.

And unbeknownst to him, at this time a slender snake slowly slithered into the room from the window and hid behind the curtains, looking at him cunningly.

As Aryan was facing the other side, he didn't notice it's presence at all. And taking advantage of the situation, the snake inched closer towards him and soon climbed over his bed.

But unfortunately Takshak's luck had finally run out as Aryan finally discovered him.

"A snake? "

Aryan said curiously as he found a snake just a few inches away from him on the bed. However he didn't take it very seriously since he considered it to be a normal snake.

But after being discovered, Takshak didn't delay anymore and immediately attacked Aryan with his poison.

* hiss *

Aryan finally reacted as the snake actually spit out an arrow made of poison and instinctively jumped back to avoid it.

* splash * *tssssssss*

"What the hell! "

Aryan exclaimed in surprise as he saw that at the place where the poison arrow landed, it immediately corroded a large hole.

"No, this is not an ordinary snake. Reveal yourself you son of a bitch! "

Realization finally hit him as Aryan remembered that he was in Mahabharat period.

With a thought, wooden vines emerged from the ground and the walls and lashed out at the snake.

"Hiss! You're not that bad Aryan Bahubali! "

As these words came out of its mouth, the snake turned into a humanoid figure which had greenish black scales covering it's whole body and had crescent shaped cold blooded eyes.

"Who are you? "

Aryan questioned vigilantly as he saw that the moment the wooden branches touched him, they were corroded at a speed visible to the naked eyes.

"Hahaha, consider yourself lucky human for being able to meet the King of Snakes Takshak himself. Unfortunately, it seems that you have used up all of your luck for your death is destined to be by my hands. Hahaha!"

Takshak said arrogantly.

"Takshak? "

Aryan said softly as some information about Takshak emerged in his mind while Moksha had already appeared in his hands at some point of time.

"Although I don't think I have any enemity with you or your clan but since you have already tried to kill me, then you're my enemy from this moment. And you know what I do to my enemies? "

"What? "

Takshak asked with a mocking smile.

"I kill them of course! "

Aryan replied with the same mocking smile and swung the spear towards Takshak.

But Takshak reacted timely and dodged backwards. Also, at the same time as he jumped back, Takshak spit out another poison arrow towards him.

* swish *

Aryan also dodged his attack and jumped back to create a certain distance from him.

Since it was currently night time, so his Sunshine ability was inactive and couldn't be used. Fortunately, unlike Escanor he has many other abilities at his disposal.

As Takshak followed by spitting another poison arrow, this time, insted of dodging it Aryan faced it head on with his spear.

"Full Counter! "

The moment the poison arrow collided with his spear, it was completely absorbed by it and with another swing, a second arrow was hurled back at Takshak himself which was twice in size and speed and was also two times more poisonous.

"Huh? "

Naturally Takshak was not prepared for this and fell victim to his own poison but stronger.

"Aaarrggghh! "

Takshak snorted as a small portion of the scales present on his hand were corroded by the poison arrow and looked up at Aryan vigilantly.

"Hmph, although I don't know what means you used to do this but no matter, I have other methods to take care of you. "

Takshak said angrily and as he held up his arms, several snakes actually sprouted from his arm and lunged towards Aryan viciously.

"Form Eight : Pollen garden! "

A large green colored transparent barrier appears around him and all the snakes end up collision with it.

"Uhh, why does this feel like Orochimaru? "

Aryan said hesitantly.
