Kai after returning to the real world was completely confused he didn't know what to do and his talk with his nieces was awkward, after all, he did try to kill them before.

Kai was now reading and catching up on everything that occurred in the past years he was in the prison world that's when he heard a voice"So have you decided to do next?"

Kai shrugged and replied"I am not sure. Before my only path was to kill Alaric, but now everything is different and there are things, I don't understand."

Alex nodded and let Kai have his space and time, while outside Hope and Caroline, we're waiting for him.

Caroline seeing Alex questioned, "How is he?"

Alex sighed and answered"It will take him time to get used to the whole thing, I mean he hated everything about his family for so long. So for him to accept the fact his twin and nieces care about him will take time."

Caroline nodded with that Alex walked back to his room to find Hope talking with Rebekah. Both seem to be happy talking with each other.

But the last time he heard Rebekah broke up with Marcel, it was fought over turning into a human using the cure and Marcel didn't want too.Alex also found the other reason for the break up was Marcel was unable to give up all the power and influence he has now.Sure he gave up New Orleans for short time,but he knew he could vome and take it whenever he wanted.

So Rebekah felt power mattered to him more than her.

Flashback

The fight got worse and they broke up, but Klaus and Kol did tear into Rebekah how stupid the idea was and changing into a human was dangerous because of her status as Mikeelsons

Klaus in annoyance yelled"We have been ovet this,Rebekah you can't become human."

Rebekah retorted in anger"This is my life and I want to have children of my own."

The fight got worse and worse,buy then Alex stepped in"What happens after you become mortal and have a family."

That caught Rebekah by suprise,but Alex continued"I mean you are Mikaelson on of the most feared family in history.The number of enemies you have in not small and the moment some of them find your human state to be best time to strike.Not only will you die,but your future children will also become a target."

Rebekah was still sturborn and said"We can make sure set up protection for them,like barriers and new identity."

Kol cut in"So we have to come with to always protect you,when you are human.After you chose this path knowing all the dangers."

Kol was only saying this,the truth of the matter was he will protect his sister and even her children if it mattered.It is just he felt she is taking too much risk,after all they can't always be therefore her.

Before Rebekah could reply, Alex spoke up"Even if provide a powerful magical spell to protect you and your future family, the issues comes with the fact no spell is foolproof and it would have some weakness in anyway or form.And when that happens and your identity gets ousted, not only will you be killed.But also the new family that you are planning on starting."

Rebekah slumped on the ground sobbing, while Alex felt bad and said"Maybe I could find a way to allow."

Rebekah looked ad Alex with hope.
