2 Meeting the 'Jiji'

Seeing that I couldn't do anything, I sighed and started to walk away. But then, I heard someone calling me.

"Naruto?"

Looking back, I saw Hiruzen Sarutobi, looking at me with a grandfatherly smile on his face.

"Jiji! You! You didn't tell me you are Hokage, why?" I went to him and shouted with an annoyed look on my face. Hearing me, Hiruzen's face changed slightly and then he asked, "Naruto, how do you know about this?"

Hearing him, I tilted my head and then pointed at the Stone faces at the Hokage Mountain.

"Jiji! See that, Even after seeing this, I didn't think you are Hokage but when I went to the place and asked the lady if I can meet you, she said I can't meet anyone, Demon Fox."

I said with a slightly sad face with sadness in my voice. As for Hiruzen, his expression changed slightly as he heard what I said.

"Naruto, you aren't a demon fox. I will go and meet her and see what it is about."

"No! You don't need to do it. Even if you will talk with her now, I don't think you can talk to the whole village. After all, everyone in the village calls me Demon Fox. I am even kicked out of the orphanage."

I said with a deprecating smile while trying to get sympathy from him. Hiruzen's face changed completely and sorrow appeared in his eyes. His expression then changed and he asked, "Naruto! I am sorry for this. But what did you mean when you were kicked from the Orphanage?"

"Huh? You don't know? I thought you came to meet me because of this. Since the morning, Matro didn't give me anything to eat, and an hour ago, I was kicked out by Matron. She said, 'Get out! You damn demon! Next time I see you here, I will beat you to death.'"

"Then I ran away from the place and in the whole village, only you and Uncle Teuichi at Ichirank treat me normally. I couldn't ask him so I was about to go and meet you but then my eyes fell on the Hokage Mountain and I saw your face. Then I came to the Hokage Building and ask the Lady at the place if I can meet Jiji. She denied me and then I understood you are Hokage."

"When I came out, I saw the window and thought of informing you by throwing stones at it. But all the stones I threw disappeared in between. I was about to leave but then I heard your voice."

I dramatically explained everything while acting like Naruto. Hiruzen's face was getting more and more weird and by the end, a dark expression appeared on his face and even I could feel malice from him. But I don't know if his malice is directed toward someone else or me.

Then his expression changed back and a grandfatherly smile appeared on his face.

"Naruto! you don't need to worry. I will take care of you. For now, do you want to eat anything?"

"Huh! YES! I want to eat Ramen, 'ttebayo"

I unconsciously said the verbal tick and now I am feeling embarrassed about it. Seeing my embarrassed face, Hiruzen laughed and said, "Let's go Naruto. Today, you can eat as many Ramen Bowls as you can."

"Really? Then I will eat, um! 1,2,3,6,7! 7! Bowls of Ramen." I said with an excited face while making a deliberate mistake.

"Haha! After 3, it's 4 and 5, then comes 6 and 7."

"Oh! Hehe! I didn't know it. After all, nobody has taught me before." I said with a sunny smile on my face and I then saw Hiruzen having a hurt expression again.

'It seems he isn't as bad as I had imagined. But let's how will it go. Besides, even if you aren't worst like Danzo, you and be in the worse category.'

After having 10 Bowls of Ramen, I am now walking with Hiruzen around the village.

"Oh! It's Hokage Sama."

"But why is that brat with him?"

"Maybe Hokage Sama is going to discipline him."

"Maybe he is taking the Demon away from the village?"

Hearing everyone, I didn't say anything and kept looking downwards. As for Hiruzen, I saw no change in his expression and wondered why he brought me to the market even after knowing how I am treated here.

'Is he testing me? Does he want to know if I will get angry at them and try to shout? Or he wants to know what I think about the village? Hehe! If it really is like that, then you Hiruzen really are worst like Danzo.'

After walking for a few minutes, we arrived in a park and Hiruzen sat with me.

"Naruto! What do you think of the village?"

'Ah! He has done it now. Hiruzen, You are really as bad as I imagined.'

"Huh? What do you mean, Jiji?"

Hiruzen looked at me and sighed. Seeing that I didn't answer in the way he wanted, he shook his head and said, "It's Nothing! Naruto, I will leave now. You stay here, I will send someone to pick you up at your new home. Do you want to live in another orphanage? or"

"No!"

Without even letting him complete, I shouted.

"No! I don't want to live in an orphanage if I am going to be beaten like before. It's better for me to live alone than live with people who don't like me."

I said and ran away from the place. Tears appeared in my eyes and I shouted at Hiruzen.

'It seems I am suffering from all the emotions I had before. I will have to deal with it.'

I ran while wiping my tears and arrived at the end of the park. Seeing that no one was at the place, I sat down while thinking about how I am going to live from now on.

'The village is bad, very bad. I know that civilians hate me because of rumors about me but still, I can't help but hate them too. Like Naruto from anime, this world isn't about friendship and butterflies. While Naruto forgot what villagers had done to him, I don't think I can forget it. But I will have to endure everything.'

'Let's see what Hiruzen is going to do from now on.'
