2 Chapter 1: Destiny's Call

The sun had just risen over the magical world of Insanus, casting a warm glow on the rolling hills and towering forests. In a small house in the city, Altairius Nightshade, a young man with strikingly beautiful features, was getting ready to go to Valeria Academy. He is 17 years old, having been reincarnated Into this world, and had grown accustomed to the magic energies that flowed through everything here. Altairius was a top performer in his grade and was eager to find out if any of the summoned heroes were from his previous world, Earth.

Altairius looked at himself in the mirror and said, "Today's the day, Altairius. I can feel it. Maybe one of the summoned heroes is from Earth, just like me." He chuckled to himself and continued, "But who am I kidding? There's no way anyone from Earth would be brought to this magical world. But, hey, a guy can dream, right?" He winked at his reflection and grabbed his bag, ready to head out. "Time to go to school and learn some new spells. Maybe I'll even have some fun along the way," he said with a grin.

As the summoning ceremony came to a close, Altairius couldn't contain his excitement. He couldn't wait to meet the newly summoned heroes and find out if any of them were from his previous world, Earth. With a sense of urgency, he made his way to Valeria Academy, where he hoped to learn more about the heroes and their abilities. As he walked through the halls of the academy, Altairius took in his surroundings. The school was a sprawling complex of stone buildings and lush gardens, with the occasional student hurrying past him. Altairius felt a sense of awe and reverence for the academy, which had trained some of the greatest heroes in Insanus's history. He knew that he had a lot to learn from the academy's masters, and he was eager to get started.

As Altairius strolled through the gardens, he spotted a group of students gathered around a large statue.

"Hey, what's going on over there?" Altairius asked, approaching the group.

One of the students turned to him and replied, "Oh, we're just admiring the statue of one of the academy's most famous heroes, Erevan."

"Erevan? I've never heard of him," Altairius said, feigning ignorance.

The student looked at him incredulously. "You've never heard of Erevan? He's only one of the greatest heroes in all of Insanus's history!"

Altairius grinned. "I'm just messing with you. Of course, I've heard of him. I just wanted to see if you were paying attention."

The students chuckled, and Altairius felt a sense of camaraderie with them. Despite being from a different world, he was starting to feel like he belonged at Valeria Academy.

"So, what else is there to do around here?" Altairius asked, looking around the gardens.

"Well, there's the training grounds, the library, and the cafeteria," another student replied.

"The cafeteria? Now that sounds like my kind of place," Altairius said, rubbing his stomach.

The students laughed, and Altairius joined in. He was starting to feel at home at Valeria Academy, and he couldn't wait to see what adventures lay ahead.

Deep within the dark confines of the church's inner sanctum, The summoners knelt in a circle, their eyes closed in concentration as they chanted ancient incantations. Their voices rose and fell in perfect unison, their words filling the air with a low, rhythmic hum.

As they chanted, the candles flickered and swayed, casting eerie shadows on the walls of the inner sanctum. The scent of burning herbs filled the air, and the symbols etched into the stone seemed to pulse with a faint glow.

The summoners' voices grew louder and more intense as they continued their chant, their robes swishing softly against the cold stone floor. They seemed completely absorbed in their task, their faces twisted in concentration as they called forth the ancient powers that lay dormant within the church's stones.

Despite the ominous atmosphere, there was a sense of purpose and determination in the summoners' voices. It was clear that they believed in their mission and were willing to do whatever it took to achieve their goals

As the chant reached its climax, a brilliant light burst forth from the center of the circle, illuminating the faces of the summoner saints with a blinding intensity. Slowly, the light faded, revealing a group of twelve figures standing in their midst. The newcomers were a diverse group of young men and women, with a range of hair colors and styles.

There were seven boys and five girls, each one looking dazed and disoriented from the sudden shift in environment. One of the boys had fiery red hair that stood up in spiky tufts, while another had jet-black hair that fell in a sleek curtain over his forehead. A third boy had sandy brown hair that curled at the ends, and a fourth had short, choppy blond hair that gave him a rebellious edge.

Among the girls, one had long, flowing auburn hair that cascaded down her back like a waterfall, while another had a cute pixie cut in a bright shade of pink. A third girl had wavy, honey-colored hair that framed her face in loose curls, and a fourth had straight, jet-black hair that contrasted sharply with her pale skin.

Despite their confusion, the summoner saints could sense a glimmer of potential in the newcomers, and they felt a surge of hope that these twelve could become the heroes they had summoned.

As the summoned heroes stumbled out of the summoning circle, a deafening explosion rocked the church, sending debris flying in all directions. The summoner saints protected the heroes from harm, but everyone in the church was filled with fear and confusion. What had just happened? And who or what had caused the explosion? They knew one thing for certain – things were about to get a lot more dangerous in Insanus.

At the cafeteria, Altairius couldn't shake off the feeling that something sinister was lurking in the shadows, waiting to strike. But he refused to let it dampen his carefree and playful spirit.

As Altairius loaded his tray with food, he couldn't resist snagging an extra chocolate muffin. He grinned mischievously to himself, knowing it wasn't the healthiest choice, but not caring one bit. After all, what's life without a little indulgence?.

As he scanned the room, his mischievous grin returned when he spotted a group of students he recognized from his class.

"Hey guys!" he exclaimed, making his way over to their table. "Mind if I join you?"

"Altairius, hey!" one of the students greeted him with a smile. "Pull up a chair."
