29 Politics and Third Year begins

After celebrating Dora's birthday, Agustus had a quiet and peaceful summer. He received an invitation from Lady Greengrass for Daphne's birthday party, but he politely declined, as he barely knew her. He also ignored an angry letter from Astoria, who seemed to be scolding him for that.

Agustus spent most of his time training with Alfred, his loyal butler and mentor, or going out with Dora. He had yet to take Hela on a date though.

As the summer vacation came to an end, Agustus bid farewell to Alfred and the orphanage kids. He boarded the Hogwarts Express, hoping for another exciting year at the magical school.

However, his second year turned out to be rather dull and boring. He breezed through his classes, finding them too easy and repetitive. He made some friends among his fellow Slytherins, who were Heir of some noble House who had supported Millie as Minister. He also avoided Snape, and Dumbledore had avoided him.

The only thing that kept him interested was the British political scene, which was undergoing some dramatic changes. One day, he received a letter from Lord Malfoy, who requested a meeting with him. Agustus was surprised and annoyed, as he had nothing to do with the Malfoy family or their affairs. He was not the secretary of the Minister of Magic, who had denied Lord Malfoy's request for an audience.

Agustus was about to throw the letter away, when he noticed something that caught his eye. Lord Malfoy had written that he was being pressured by the Dark families, who were unhappy with the loss of Lord Nott in the elections. Some of them had started to demand explanations and tried to sabotage Malfoy's business, which he did not appreciate. As a result, he had decided to snitch on their dark deals, such as trading dark artifacts, running illegal businesses, and trafficking muggles. He had enclosed some evidence and names, and asked Agustus to pass them on to the Minister.

This was something that Agustus had not expected, and it intrigued him. He did not care about the Dark families or the Malfoys or the muggles, but he saw an opportunity to make some connections and gain some advantages. He agreed to meet Lord Malfoy who welcomed him warmly. At first, Agustus only wanted some money in exchange for his services, but then he saw 'something' that changed his mind.

Agustus felt something, he wanted 'that' , and he knew he had to have 'that'. He did not care about the money or his ideals, he did not care about anything else. He wanted 'that'.

But first he made sure that, 'that' doesn't feel pressured and doesn't want to be his, after receiving a genuine agreement from 'that' Agustus proposed the deal.

He made a magical contract with Lord Malfoy, agreeing to dismiss all the debts of the Malfoy family to the Drakul House and the Peverell House, two of the most ancient and noble families that Agustus was Heir to.

In return, he asked for one thing from Lord Malfoy: no one was to touch what belonged to him. He wanted complete ownership of 'that' . Both of them signed the contract with their blood, sealing it with magic. The condition to break the contract was death.(not for Agustus as he can destroy that piece of paper with a snap, but lord Malfoy didn't know that), but still he made contingency plans, just in case.

Agustus had another meeting related to this matter as he wanted nobody to have the power over 'that'. He met Arcturus Black, the grandfather of Sirius and Regulus, who had been suffering from a lot of health issues. The healers had given him a year to live at most. Lord Black was very surprised to meet the young Heir Peverell and was curious to find out the purpose of his visit. Agustus had a proposition for him. He signed a contract with Lord Black and his Granddaughter, offering them something they desperately wanted, healing lord black. In return, he made sure Black house has no claim over 'that', and signed the contract.

Agustus used his POD on Arcturus and deaged him.

Arcturus, who was skeptical at first, was astonished by the results. He looked younger and healthier than before, as if Agustus had reversed his aging process.

Agustus also informed them about Sirius's situation. He told them that he had arranged a court hearing for him, where he would prove his innocence and free him from Azkaban. Lord Black and his Granddaughter were overjoyed and thanked him profusely. They also agreed to support him in his political endeavors. After that meeting, Agustus had made everything official. He claimed what he wanted, and 'that' was happy to be claimed by him. No one else would dare to touch what belongs to him, he made sure of it.

Many Dark families suffered due to Lord Malfoy's betrayal. He had exposed their secrets to Agustus, who had used them to prosecute them anonymously.

Malfoy acted oblivious or even helped some of them, like the Parkinsons, to get out of trouble. He maintained his authority over the Dark families, while also gaining favours from them.

Agustus still wondered why he had lost control during that deal. There was no magic involved, he wasn't drugged, there was no veela allure. He just couldn't resist 'that', after seeing. He wanted 'that', and he didn't care about the consequences and others reactions.

After that debacle and some interesting court cases, Agustus spent some time with Dora. He felt a little guilty. He cared and loved Dora, but he loved himself too. There was no second guessing his decision. He would have 'that', and no one would stop him.

The second year passed quickly and Agustus realized it was time for the canon to start. This year, Quirrell would bring Voldemort to Hogwarts. He already taught Muggle Studies at Hogwarts last year, and he would try to steal the Philosopher's Stone this year. The Mirror of Erised was an interesting artifact too. Agustus had plans for both of them. His third year would be very entertaining indeed.

(August 14, 1991, Drakul Manor)

Agustus was wearing a casual white shirt and black pants, with a wizarding overcoat that had the Deathly Hallows symbol on the back. He had grown taller this year, reaching 5'9 feet, and his blonde hair and blue eyes made him look more Handsome. Today, he was going to visit Diagon Alley with Dora. Cedric and the twins had already finished their shopping, as Ron was too excited to visit Diagon Alley for the first time, he was starting Hogwarts this year.

Agustus apparated to the Tonks residence and picked up Dora, who looked amazing as always. She had also grown taller, 5'1 feet, thanks to Agustus's intense training. Agustus had also removed her human limiter, barrier that prevented humans from reaching their full potential. This gave her superhuman strength and speed, though she still had to train a lot to master them.

They both visited the robes shop, where Agustus ordered some more custom-designed robes for himself and Dora. He had also ordered robes for Emily. They continued their shopping, buying books, potions, and other supplies. Wizards rarely paid attention to anyone else, but the young couple was too beautiful to be ignored. They received many admiring glances and whispers, which made Dora blush.

After finishing their shopping and eating ice cream, Agustus took Dora back to the Tonks residence. He gave her a goodbye kiss on the lips, which made her smile and hug him. He waved her goodbye and apparated back to the manor.

The first kiss had happened on his birthday, when Dora had given him an amazing gift: a silver pendant with the Deathly Hallows symbol inside was his and Dora's picture. He had been shocked to see Dora's bold actions, but he didn't back down.

Agustus had made great progress in his sword training. Alfred, the 300-year-old vampire butler of the Drakul House, now had to take Agustus seriously, as most of their spars ended in a draw. That was because Alfred was more focused on teaching Agustus and making sure he gained experience.

Agustus, who was usually calm and composed, was getting excited to see his favorite story unfold in front of him. He couldn't wait for Hogwarts to begin.
