[Harry Potter POV]

Voldemort is still alive!

Yesterday, Sirius wrote me a letter informing me about all the things I should have been told before coming to Hogwarts.

Severus Snape was a Death Eater who was saved by Dumbledore from going to Azkaban. Now I know why he always hated me. He was a Death Eater, and Voldemort was defeated by me, so it was natural for him to not like me. But why did Dumbledore save him?

He also told me about Mom and Dad, how Sirius left his home and lived with Dad and grandparents, how they pulled their pranks on my grandmother, how Sirius was treated as family by all of them. I cried a lot reading those letters. I missed them, even though I never had them. Just reading about them made my heart ache.

He also gifted me an invisibility cloak. My father also had one; Sirius told me about that. This cloak was a lot weaker and cheaper than the cloak my father had.

Sirius also wrote about not trusting Dumbledore and staying away from him. Apparently, Dumbledore wanted me to live with Aunt Petunia, but Sirius had not listened to him. From now on, I would live with him, which is good. I would love to live anywhere but there.

Dumbledore should remove Snape as a teacher. He is a horrible professor and partial towards Slytherin students. I don't like him.

Today, I was going to the library when I saw Snape pushing Professor Quirrell, who looked frightened, and walked away from him. That did it. I have to do something. Maybe Snape is forcing Professor Quirrell to do something. Dumbledore did say something about the third floor. Maybe there was something that Snape wanted to revive Voldemort!

I had to make sure that everything is safe and Voldemort doesn't return because I will be his main target.

I have defeated him before and I would do it again.

[Third-person POV]

"Mate, are you sure about this?"

"Absolutely! Ron, I saw them yesterday. Today, Professor Quirrell didn't come to take the class. After spying on him with the cloak, I saw him enter this door," answered Harry Potter.

Ron sighed and said, "Alright, let's do this."

Both of them opened the door and entered the room, but after seeing a giant three-headed dog sleeping on the floor, they nearly wet themselves.

"What the heck is this thing?" said Ron, shivering.

Harry wasn't better either and said, "Don't know, mate, but we better move before this thing wakes up."

Both of them were terrified of the dog. There was also music playing from a harp, which they both guessed caused the dog to fall asleep.

"Ahhhh!"

They both heard a girlish scream and saw Hermione, who looked terrified.

Seeing her, both boys looked confused. Ron asked her to keep quiet by gesturing to her and said, "What are you doing here, Granger?"

Hermione looked away from the dog and said, "I followed you guys. Harry was muttering about the third floor the whole time in the library, and today too he was acting suspicious."

Ron glared at Harry, who looked at the ground with embarrassment. Ron again turned and said, "Did you tell anyone, Peverell? Or my brothers or professors?"

Hermione shook her head. She didn't tell anyone. She didn't think she needed to. She was just curious about Harry's weird behavior, nothing else.

Harry was berating himself for his carelessness. They hadn't brought the cloak, as only one person could fit in it.

Ron sighed with relief. Before he could say anything, the music in the background started fading.

The sleeping dog opened his eyes. Seeing him waking up, Hermione quickly ran towards the wooden door on the floor, which was opened, and jumped in it. Ron and Harry followed her.

The dog, who was finally awake, reacted slowly and couldn't catch them.

Slowly, the trio defeated the tests. Ron was injured again, and Hermione had gone to call the professors. Harry continued to move forward. Now he was sure there was something very important hidden there, which was about to be stolen due to Snape.

She came outside and ran towards the professors' office. She was running when she saw Agustus talking with two Slytherin girls.

Hermione recognized one of them. The girl had a cold face. She was a first year too, Daphne Greengrass, and her friend, whose name she didn't know.

Daphne handed a letter to Agustus. He opened the letter and read it quickly and gave it back to her.

She read the letter too, and she blushed... Wait, blushed!

Hermione glared towards him, but ignorant Agustus patted Daphne on the head, which intensified Daphne's embarrassment, but she didn't move away from him.

Hermione couldn't take this anymore and ran towards him.

Seeing Hermione, he smiled and looked towards Daphne and said, "Okay, I'll think about it."

She didn't reply and ran away with Tracey.

"Are you cheating on big sis Dora?" said Hermione with a hateful glare towards him.

Yes, Dora had asked her to call her big sis, or she would call her a cat. She was hesitant initially but complied later.

Agustus looked at her amused and said, "Oh, is my cat jealous?"

"You!" She couldn't say anything.

Seeing her expression, he laughed and said, "So what are you doing here, Hermione?"

'What was I doing here? Oh my god, I forgot,' thought Hermione and panicked.

Seeing her panicking, he sighed and grabbed her hand. Getting a little serious, he said, "What happened, Hermione? Did someone hurt you?"

Hermione felt his warm hand and calmed a little and replied, "No, no, nothing like that. It's actually..." She told him about everything that had happened and urged him to save both those idiots.

"And why should I do that?" It was not his problem, after all. If both those idiots got killed, he wouldn't care at all.

"You should help them. They are students of Hogwarts, and they may seriously die," said Hermione, again panicking.

'Fred and George would lose a brother. They have a lot of them anyway, but still... only this time,' he thought.

He pinched her cheeks and said, "Alright, go find Professor McGonagall and inform her about the situation. I would save both of them."

She smiled hearing his response and nodded.

"Skadi!" called Agustus. A beautiful blue phoenix appeared and snuggled on his neck.

He smiled and patted the clingy Skadi who chirped happily.

He waved at Hermione and disappeared with Skadi. She too ran towards Professor McGonagall's office.
