9 Conflict

Agustus sat with his Slytherin acquaintances for breakfast, yet he hadn't encountered any discrimination.

No one labeled him a Mudblood, and there were two main reasons for this. Firstly, his origins remained unknown, leaving the possibility of him being a pureblood heir.

Secondly, Agustus held significant political and financial power, capable of effortlessly dismantling a noble house. Slytherin students weren't idiots to go and dug their own House's graves. The heirs had strict instructions from their parents to befriend Heir Peverell.

But there are always idiots who don't know that their actions can have really bad consequences.

Post-breakfast, Agustus reviewed his schedule. "Charms and DADA. I really don't want to attend Defense Against the Dark Arts class," he pondered.

The DADA professor had gained fame by teaching Gryffindor and Ravenclaw first years but was deemed as incompetent as Lockhart.

"At least he doesn't have Voldemort on his head. No, actually, it might be better if he had the Voldie parasite," Agustus mused.

Dora, undeterred by Slytherin's disapproval due to her mother Andromeda's Marriage to a Muggle born Wizard , approached the Slytherin table. Fearlessly, she greeted Agustus,

"Good morning, Agustus. Let's head to class; the front seats might get taken," her excitement evident for Charms.

As Agustus prepared to stand and greet Dora, someone from the Slytherin table abruptly shouted, "Go away, Half-blood! Don't shout here in the morning. Go enjoy with Mudbloods like your mother did. Don't disturb us." The Slytherin table was stunned, they knew why Dora was at their table, who she was greeting, even though they don't like her they won't say that to her in front of Agustus for obvious reasons.

Dora took a step back, unfazed by the insult, aware that inbred scums like the offender were inherently racist. She glanced worriedly at Agustus, anticipating his possible reaction.

The temperature in the entire Great Hall seemed to rise.

The Slytherin table, familiar with Agustus's influential family holding 40 Wizengamot seats, sensed trouble. They thought Agustus would use his political power to crush the boy's House. They didn't know how wrong they were.

The boy who insulted Dora the previous morning was absent, unaware of Agustus's friendship with her. Now, the entire Hogwarts knew.

Agustus's eyes gained a red hue, a sign of his growing anger and (POD). He stood up and walked toward the center of the Great Hall to make sure everyone could see what he is about to do. A fifth-year student, Ash Burke, flew towards Agustus, leaving everyone stupefied at the displayed magic.

Agustus, without uttering a word, looked into Ash Burke's eyes and said, "Ash Burke, if you would have asked Dora to leave cause she is Hufflepuff I would have not taken serious measures like this, What you did is unacceptable for me, Dora is my first friend and her mother is my legal guardian, that makes Dora my family, it hurts me if someone insults people dear to me. Now, apologize to Dora before your house becomes extinct."

Agustus flared his Power and now everyone could feel death in the air.(except Dora and his friends)

Wandless magic astonished the higher-class students. They now realized that Heir Peverell possessed not only political power but also the potential to become one of the strongest wizards.

Ash Bruke had forgotten a very important fact he realised just now, tonks family is now supported by Heir Peverell. All he wants now he to smack his past self so he doesn't commit such mistake. Bruke family is a low level family anyway, Heir Peverell could destroy their shops and relations by just writing one letter.

Burke sensing death hurriedly nodded, apologizing to Dora and acknowledging Agustus's status. Dora, understanding Agustus's hurt, took his hand and reassured him, "Let it go, Agustus. It didn't affect me at all."

The Great Hall fell silent. Agustus seized the opportunity to make an announcement to the Slytherin House.

"This," he pointed at Ash Burke, who couldn't stand due to damaged joints( Agustus had internally destroyed his bones making process of destruction really painful),"happens to anyone who hurts my friends. It's not a threat, I don't do threats, This is a warning to all of you."

No one dared to question him as he walked out with Dora.

Now everyone one understood Agustus Peverell is a powerful boy. He doesn't need to use his influence, his power is enough to deter students who wants to harm him.

He left the Great Hall with Dora for Charms class.

After few minutes Professor McGonagall arrived to find a fifth-year Slytherin boy incapacitated at the center. No student, even the Gryffindors, offered assistance.

Astonished, she ordered the prefects to take the boy to the infirmary, demanding an explanation from the silent onlookers.

A Ravenclaw prefect spoke up, "Agustus Peverell did this. Ash Burke insulted his friend, and Agustus didn't use any spells; he did everything wandlessly."

Hearing this, Professor McGonagall couldn't believe her ears. 'A first-year student can do this to a fifth-year without using any spell? I'll need to discuss this with Albus and Severus,' she thought.

(Same day, Charms class)

Charms, a core class at Hogwarts and Ilvermorny, focused on the teaching of charms. Professor Filius Flitwick, known for his expertise in charm-work and dueling prowess, had been teaching it for years.

As Agustus and Dora attentively listened to Professor Flitwick, Professor McGonagall abruptly entered Classroom 2E. She apologized and requested Agustus to accompany her to the headmaster's office.

Dora, fearing Agustus might be expelled because of her, felt a wave of sadness, nearly on the verge of tears.

Agustus, sensing her distress, squeezed her hand and whispered reassuringly, "Don't worry, Dora. Nothing will happen to me. You trust me, right?" Dora nodded, having known Agustus for only three days but already trusting him with her life.

Professor Flitwick, observing the unusual situation, questioned, "Is it very urgent, Minerva? It's Mr. Peverell's first Charms class."

McGonagall affirmed, and Flitwick allowed Agustus to go.

Unexpectedly, Dora stood up, declaring, "I will go too. Agustus won't go alone." Despite protests from Agustus and Professor Flitwick, she ran out of the class, leaving both professors amazed.

Agustus chuckled at Dora's determination, thinking, 'That idiot girl will one day become one of the strongest Aurors. This time, no one can hurt her; I'll make sure of it,' with a smile. He followed McGonagall.

The entire walk to the headmaster's office remained silent, and Agustus couldn't help but think, 'Guess beating a student and leaving him half dead gives a great first impression. Dumbledore would have puked blood like Chinese elders when McGonagall told him about the Great Hall incident. I can already imagine him telling me ''My boy Agustus You are going dark'' bullshit'.

At the Headmaster's office, Dora awaited them. The stairwell gargoyle moved at McGonagall's presence. The three entered the office to discuss matters with Headmaster Dumbledore.
