Resistance forces (Hideout/Headquarter)

An old man with 8 feet height and muscular body with long white hair and white beard was sitting on a lavish throne made out of bones of strongest demons in the history of planet Amora.

He is the current leader of resistance forces Sebastian pest, a human said to be able to fight on par with strongest duke ranked demons.

Not far from him, two small infants, not older than few days were floating and absorbing mana from the surrounding at a terrifying pace, the old man saw these infants with curious gaze.

It was impossible for mortals to sense mana just after being born and more unconscionable for them to absorb it from there surrounding at this terrifying speed but he understood that this is what set these infants apart from others, this is an existence called hero.

Soon the door of the hall opened and a woman wearing a royal coat with various prestigious badges attached on her thorax entered the hall.

"Lord Sebastian, we have carried out all the tests that you mentioned and I can guarantee you that both infants are born with Mithril physique." She said in an astounded tone, which brought a faint smile on the lips of Sebastian.

Diverting his gaze away from the heroes, he looked at the researcher who has brought him the good news.

The woman in front of him was Emily diva, she was 6 feet tall with white skin, long black hair and green pupils, she is the head researcher and resource manager of resistance forces headquarter.

"Anything else to report?" Sebastian asked.

"Yes lord, their brainwaves are in perfect sync as if they are not children's but mature mortals in their twenties." The researcher Emily said.

"That is to be expected of the otherworldly beings sent to liberate us." Sebastian said.

"Is there any news from our spies in demon king castle about the 3rd hero, whom we were unable to rescue?" Sebastian asked.

"No my lord, after king Alfred took the 3rd hero to the demon king castle through the teleportation portal, we didn't receive any news about the 3rd hero." Emily said.

"It was very unfortunate of him to have born in such an inauspicious place, may his soul rest in peace." Sebastian said and soon the communication crystal in his space rune started to vibrate.

He retrieved the communication crystal from the space rune inscribed on his palm and a black crystal materialized on his palm out of nowhere emitting white light from time to time.

"What is it, victor?" Sebastian asked.

"Lord Sebastian, I have news about 3rd hero, whom demon king had captured." The person speaking on communication crystal spoke in hurried tone.

"Speak." Sebastian spoke.

"Demon king has sent him to underground dungeon but he escaped from prison and his current warebouts are unknown." victor spoke in a low voice.

"How can that be, a 1 day infant escaping from that impenetrable fortress, are you certain that the information is not false and being spread to snuff us out?" Sebastian asked because in past 100 years from when the demon king's palace and dungeon has been built, no one has been successful in escaping from that dungeon.

"The news is 100% credible my lord, the demon spy we have planted in demon king castle said that the prisoner of 100th floor dungeon named 'Merlin' escaped from his cell and took the 3rd hero with him, the merlin guy even confronted the demon king and successfully escaped, because the whole castle heard demon king Lucifer's roar when he shouting the name 'Merlin'." Victor said with skepticism but Sebastian's eyes widened in shock.

"Did you just say, 'Merlin'?" Sebastian asked in disbelieving tone.

"Yes my lord, do you know him?" victor asked.

"Why… why… why has that accursed soul returned to our world once again?" Sebastian roared on the top of his lungs.

"My lord Sebastian, are you alright, who is this merlin?" victor asked.

"He is the traitor of all humanity, it was he who groomed the demon king Lucifer to become this powerful and he was the one, who killed the previous leader of resistance forces and my father with demon king Lucifer." Sebastian's spoke in a furious tone his eyes as red as blood and his momentum pressing everyone around him to the ground, but soon he realized his mistake and regained his calm, releasing the pressure, which allowed the researcher Emily and heroes to take a sigh of relief.

"We thought it was demon king Lucifer who killed our previous leader." Victor spoke through the communication crystal with disbelieving tone.

"Merlin, he is not a living being but an incorporeal soul which was sent by gods to help humanity prosper, but he betrayed humanity 200 year ago by joining hands with demon race and guided the demon king Lucifer on his journey making him the strongest demon in existence, that is what my father told me before he died." Sebastian explained to victor about merlin.

"What should we do then, Lord Sebastian?" Victor asked.

"1st commander of resistance forces victor mesur, gather all 6 commander for a meeting and collect as much information about 3rd hero as fast as you can." Sebastian ordered.

"Raise the highest bounty on the head of 3rd hero and whoever brings him to us dead or alive will be given any reward they desire." Sebastian declared.

"But lord, raising bounty on the head of our savior…" Before victor could finish his words Sebastian cut him between.

"About 100 year ago, in the Great War, demon king Lucifer betrayed and killed merlin's soul or that is what we thought, but as you can see he is not dead and now that he has abducted one of god's messenger, what do you think he will do?" Sebastian asked victor.

"He would raise another demon king to replace the current one." Victor said through the communication crystal.

"After 100 years god has given us another chance to prove our loyalty by sending heroes to help us and therefore we cannot leave any loose ends, we will defeat demon king this time and retake our planet." Sebastian convinced victor.

"Understood my lord, I will gather all resistance forces commander and raise a bounty on the head of 3rd hero." Saying this victor disconnected the communication.

"Emily gather all the resources I have told you within 1 week, I will be going into seculation after the meeting with both heroes, I will turn them into an formidable existence, which will not lose to anyone, whether it is demon king Lucifer or a demon in human clothing raised by 'merlin'." Emily bowed and left the room while Sebastian disappeared from his place saying this leaving two heroes alone in the grand hall.
