First Mission

"Whoa, so I can raise my power more than half for few minutes and raise the effect of my normal spell and arts by 2 ranks in this form." I said.

"Yes for now but once you merge with dragon king noob's consciousness and complete your draconic physique your power will be unrivaled within the rank 10 entities." Merlin's words echoed inside my mind.

I spent full day inside the invincible barrier trying to get used to my newfound strength and body.

In this whole time I tried casting many spells inside the dome and performed many high ranked sword techniques but the barrier didn't even flinch.

After full day training inside the barrier, I realized how precious the time inside the sea of consciousness was; otherwise it would have taken me another decade to train with magic spells and sword art while carrying the bounty on my back chased by populous of this whole planet.

"It's about time we clear this debris and get out of here, this place stinks." I said preparing to cast a rank 6 magic spell but merlin warned me.

"Use less powerful magic spell otherwise you may kill the beast and loose the opportunity to get real life experience." Merlin's voice resounded in my head.

I don't need to transform into hybrid form to clear some rocks and thus raising my hands in the air I shouted, [Divine verdict].

I prepared a [Divine verdict] spell and overcharged it using mana as well as 100 fate point and a golden lightning laser beam fell from the sky exactly above the invincible barrier melting the debris within seconds but it was not enough to break the invincible barrier.

The debris melted within 4 seconds and for the first time in 11 years, I saw a clear blue sky.

"Merlin lift the barrier." I said.

"Yes" Merlin lifted the barrier and fresh air greeted me with open arms.

"Is barrier gone forever, can't we store it somewhere and use again?" I asked because it was waste of 1 million fate point barrier.

"No, we can't and you should avoid getting into trouble until you get strong because we only have 1 more invincible barrier magic scroll left." Merlin said.

"Can I make the magic scroll the way your previous host made?" I asked.

"Yes, but you have to gain the understanding of law of that domain and even after that, there will be uncountable restrictions and penalties imposed by universe on you." Merlin replied.

"How do I gain understanding of law, do you have some knowledge packets or something like that with you?" I asked.

"The understanding of law of one person cannot be copied by another because it is unique to everyone and everyone gains the understanding of law in a different way but get the same outcome, therefore I cannot help you in that area." Merlin said but making the magic scroll, this field drew my interest and I will definitely explore this field in future.

"Very well, let's go and grind some fate point." I said using the rank 2 moment art [Quick step] combined with mana strengthening my body I overcharged it and leaped from bottom of the cave to the surface in single dash.

Walking naked I climbed to the surface of the crater and found nearly hundreds beast's ranging from rank 1 to rank 6 surrounding the crater looking at me with hostility.

Above their head merlin was showing me there names and rank but some beast had the missing information, which meant merlin didn't have any information about them.

I laughed at the rewards but anything is better than nothing.

While I was immersed in my thoughts, a rank 3 beast charged at me from the herd of beasts, while rest of the beasts stood there staring at me furiously.

Without saying anything I summoned an overcharged [Thunder bolt] from my palms and fried the beast before he could reach me.

In past, I was only able to summon a [Thunder bolt] from sky and beast were intelligent enough to see through this simple attack and therefore I learned different ways to cast the [Thunder bolt] spell from my palm, eyes and even my mouth.

Beast's lifeless body fell to the ground and I could see fear evident in the eyes of rank 1 and 2 beasts, while my actions agitated the beast of rank 3 and above.

"They are intelligent, even rank 1 and rank 2 beasts." I said seeing the beast's switching position.

The beast below rank 3 withdrew to the rear while rank 3 and 4 beasts took the helm to fight me.

There were total 50 beasts between rank 1 and 2, who have receded to rear and around 30 beasts between rank 3 and 4 stood in front to fight me.

There were only 4 beasts, consisting of rank 5, and 2, rank 6 beasts at the rear overlooking the herd.

[Thunder bolt] I multi-casted another 10 overcharged [Thunder bolt] which didn't affect my mana reserves much but was enough to kill and injure the beasts near me.

"Give me a normal sword." I asked merlin.

A normal Iron sword manifested in my hands and I performed [Nova octave] rank 1 sword art.

Using rank 2 movement art [Quick step] I vanished from my position appearing and disappearing in front of beasts, leaving a trace of lightning behind me targeting and killing only rank 3 beasts in single attack.

The rank 4 beast tried their best to chase me but whenever they neared me, I increased my speed and within 5 minutes I had killed all 30 rank 3 and rank 4 beasts using only rank 1 and rank 2 spells and sword art.

"It is easier than killing beasts in sea of consciousness." I said, the beast didn't understand my words but I could see their anger rose because I was just playing around with them.
