Chapter 15

Just before Kaito's arrival, at the diving shop, Azusa, Chisa, and Mr. Toshio were very happy because today was Nanaka's birthday, so it was a day to celebrate. Azusa was talking to Chisa with a smile and said, "Hey, Chisa, you only have one year left to finish school, have you thought about which university you want to go to?"

Chisa, upon hearing Azusa's question, replied, "I've decided to go to Izu University." Azusa nodded upon hearing this and said, "Izu, I see. That university is very close to here, so it's convenient for you." After saying this, Azusa looked towards Nanaka, who was attending the diving shop but seemed lost in thought.

Seeing this, Azusa stood up and walked towards Nanaka, calling out to her, "Hey, Nanaka." However, Nanaka didn't respond. Seeing this, Azusa called out to her again, "Nanaka." Upon this, Nanaka snapped out of her reverie and nervously responded to Azusa, "Uh, oh, Azusa, what's up?" Azusa, upon seeing this, let out a sigh and jokingly said, "What's wrong with you? You've been like this since Kaito left. Don't tell me you've fallen for him."

Nanaka, upon hearing this, became nervous and didn't respond to Azusa. Azusa, noticing this, said with surprise, "In ver-" Before she could finish her sentence, the sound of a car engine outside the shop caught their attention. The sound indicated that it wasn't just any car.

Both Azusa and Chisa approached the window to see who it was. Looking through it, they saw a very beautiful car, like something out of a racing movie, and Kaito stepped out of it. Seeing this, Azusa said, "Wow, I didn't know Kaito liked this kind of cars." For Nanaka, hearing Kaito's name was like a lightning bolt, and instinctively, she quickly dashed out of the shop towards Kaito.

Both Azusa and Chisa were surprised to see Nanaka rushing out so excitedly, but even more surprising was what happened next. Nanaka threw herself at Kaito and planted a big kiss on his lips. After witnessing this, both Azusa and Chisa were left completely speechless, while Mr. Toshio, who was watching, had a big smile on his face and internally said, "I'm happy for you, Nanaka, you've found the person you love."

From Kaito's point of view, as he got out of his car, he looked towards the diving shop and saw Nanaka rushing out with a big smile. Seeing this, Kaito opened his arms, expecting Nanaka, but what happened next took him by surprise. Feeling Nanaka's lips on his, he was momentarily stunned, but then he responded and kissed her back.

While everyone was stunned by what was happening at that moment, Nanaka, realizing what she had done, let go of Kaito and covered her face with her hands. However, this didn't hide her blush, and in her thoughts, she said, "W-What have I done?" Although she was happy that Kaito had responded to her kiss, she couldn't shake off the embarrassment of what she had done in front of everyone.

Meanwhile, Azusa and Chisa snapped out of their surprise and quickly approached the couple, with Mr. Toshio following behind. Upon reaching them, Azusa said with a surprised expression, "A-Are you two really dating?" Upon hearing her friend's question, Nanaka nervously replied, "Uh, um, well..." She didn't know how to respond when she felt Kaito grabbing her hand, so she looked at him and saw him smiling affectionately. Then, Kaito looked at Azusa and Chisa and said with a smile, "Yes, we are."

Upon hearing this, Azusa and Chisa were once again surprised. On the other hand, Mr. Toshio looked at Nanaka and said, "Congratulations, daughter, I'm glad to see you so happy," and then he looked at Kaito, his expression turning more serious, and said, "Take care of her, young man." Upon hearing this, Kaito, with a serious look, replied, "I will, with my life." Upon hearing this, Mr. Toshio smiled and nodded.

Azusa and Chisa snapped out of their surprise, and Azusa said to Nanaka with a sigh and a smile, "I never expected this moment, but I'm happy for you, Nanaka." On the other hand, Chisa said with a smile, "I'm really happy for you, Onee-chan." Upon hearing this, Nanaka, with a big smile on her face, said, "Thank you, girls, really."

While they were chatting among themselves, their friends Shinji and Ryuu, along with the others, approached them and said with big smiles, "We don't quite understand what's going on here, but congratulations, Nanaka." The other guys nodded in agreement and congratulated Nanaka as well. Upon hearing this, Nanaka said with a big smile, "Thank you so much, guys."

Seeing that everyone was gathered, Mr. Toshio spoke up loudly and said, "Well, now that the congratulations are over, how about we start the party?" Upon hearing this, both Ryuu, Shinji, and the other guys said in unison, "Ou," while the other girls and Kaito nodded. Everyone entered the shop, and meanwhile, Kaito and Nanaka, at the back, walked hand in hand. Kaito looked at Nanaka with a warm smile and said, "I love you." Nanaka, upon hearing this, blushed but bravely replied, "I love you too," and with that, everyone entered the shop to celebrate Nanaka's birthday.
