Ch.8 Death

It's been 8 months since riku collapsed and kingu had been taking care of him. Every months passing by, riku's contine to deteriorate but riku still refuse to be treated.

Our mc kingu, can be seen cooking some porridge that he has prepared for riku.

"Hayss, Looks like jiisan's condition has continue to worsened" kingu said

A few minutes later, the porridge has finally been cooked and kingu put some into a bowl.

After putting the porridge into a bowl, kingu took a glass of water and then started walking towards riku's room

"jiisan, It's time for breakfast" said kingu as he entered riku's room.

"Jiisan, open your mouth" kingu said as he tries to feed riku a spoonful of porridge.

Riku opened his mouth and kingu feed riku some porridge. After eating a few spoonful of porridge, riku told kingu to stop feeding him.

"kingu, that's enough,give me some water" riku said

kingu then took the glass of water and then let riku drink some water.

"kingu, I left all my remaining money on my study room downstairs. When i die, take it. It might not be much but at least it can help you start your journey" riku said while violently coughing

"Jiisan, don't talk as if you're gonna die"kingu said while stroking riku's back

"I feel that my time in this world is nearing it's end. My only request of you is to remember me and that i will always love you. Remember, even if i'm already dead i will be by your side supporting your every decision. If you have someone that you will like in the future, please introduce to me." riku said

"jiisan" kingu said in a sad voice

"The equipments that i used when i was still a wizard is also in the study room, you can use them, if not, let them accompany me in my grave."riku said

"Jiisan, Don't talk like you're dying today." kingu said in a sad voice.

"If you love someone, love them heartily, or else you'll regret it when they leave you in this world. We may not be related by blood but i felt that you were the son that i never had."riku said

"Jiisan, I too treated you like my real father." kingu replied

"I'm glad, Remember, I will always love you, even if no one support you in your dreams, remember i will always support you." riku said but he suddenly started coughing again.

"Jiisan, sleep so you can conserve your energy." kingu said as he pick up the plate and glass.

After picking up the plate and glass, kingu started walking towards the door, down the stairs and into the kitchen. Once he entered the kitchen, kingu put the plate and the glass in the sink and started eating his breakfast.

After eating his breakfast, kingu started walking towards riku's room to check whether if he's already asleep or not.

When kingu reach riku's room, he open the door to the room and saw that riku was fast asleep so he close the door and started walking downstairs. Kingu started walking towards the bookshelves and started reading.

It's the middle of the day and kingu can be seen cooking in the kitchen. After kingu finish cooking , he put the them in a plate and started walking towards riku's room.

When kingu reach riku's room, he open the door and entered the room. Kingu put the plate and the glass of water in a table near riku's bedside.

"Jiisan, wake up, It's time for lunch." kingu said as he shook riku to wake him up.

Seeing no response, kingu started to become worried, so he shook riku once again

"Jiisan, wake up!, wake up!" riku shouted as tears started falling from his eyes

"NO Jiisan!, wake up!, wake up!" kingu stop shooking as he realise that riku might be already dead.

Kingu started to feel riku's pulse in his neck but soon found out that there was no pulse.

"Jiisan!" kingu scream as he started to awaken his sharingan

Wait wait , what.

(A/n: hahahahahaha got you there. It just pop up in my mind so i included it. Okay here's the real one)

"Jiisan!" kingu scream as tears continue to fall from his eyes.

Kingu then realise that their conversation this morning was their last.

A few minutes later, kingu stop crying and started walking out of riku's room, down the stairs and into riku's study room.

When he enterend riku's study room, kingu was amaze by the equipment inside the room since it was the first time he entered the since riku forbid him.

kingu look around for a while and then he notice a picture of a man and a woman full of wizard equipment.

(A/n: I didn't introduce riku's family in the last chapter. Riku was an orphan but he had a lover who died on a quest)

"This must be jiisan and his lover" kingu said as he stroke the picture

Kingu then decision to let the equipment accompany riku in his grave since it was full of riku's memory when he was still a mage but he took a ruby necklace as a memory of riku.

A few hours later, kingu dug a hole in the back of the house. According to riku, when the mana of a mage starts to leave his/her body. It's a sign that he/she is dead. Since the mana of riku is starting to leave his body, that means riku is dead so kingu dug a hole large to contain riku and all of his equipment.

After kingu finish digging a hole, he took riku's body from the house and started to put it in the slowly. Kingu then took all riku's equipment out of the of the study and put it it beside riku.

After putting all of the equipment, kingu started to seal the hole. After sealing the hole, kingu a tombstone that he made from a stone and started carving riku's name in it. Kingu put the tombstone and put the picture of riku and his lover beside the tombstone. After that, kingu started praying for riku's soul.

'Rest in peace jiisan, i will always remember you' kingu said in his mind

After praying, kingu put some barrier so that no one can disturb riku's grave. After putting the barrier, kingu entered the house and started preparing his dinner. After he finish preparing his dinner, he started eating and then wash the dishes after he finish eating.

After that, kingu started walking towards his room, After reaching his room, kingu entered it and layed down on the bed and started sleeping. That night, kingu dream that riku was telling him to chase his dream.
