Ch.18 Rewards

After the battle, kingu and scathach exited the cave and after going the same way they entered, they finally exited the cave.

Once they exited the cave, scathach stop and ask kingu

"What do we do with the cave?" scathach pointed to the cave.

"Don't worry about that. I put some bomb inside and they will explode the moment i want the to explode."Kingu replied.

"Now, let's go find some suitable place to camp. We will inform the village leader in the morning since all the people in the village should be sleeping by now." kingu said as he started walking to find a suitable place to camp

Scathach nodded as a response and followed kingu.

Once they were slightly far from the cave. A large explosion can heard from the cave but they ignored and continued searching for suitable place to camp.

After a few minute of searching, kingu and scathach found an open space so they decided to stop there and set up their camp.

Kingu took 2 luxurious tent from the gate of babylon, something that gilgamesh would probably use when camping outside.

He also took out 2 luxurious bed and blanket, and then put one of them in every tent

He put the tent and ask scathach to set up some barrier so that they won't be disturb when they are sleeping.

Kingu then took off the night vision goggles and took out a light lacrima from the gate of babylon.

Once the camp was finally set, kingu entered one of the tent and said goodnight to scathach as he laid down in the bed.

It's morning once again. Birds are chirping while kingu and scathach are still sleeping.

The first one to wake up is kingu, so he got out of the bed and exited the tent.

Once kingu was outside, he started preparing breakfast for himself and scathach.

He took out some table, chairs, some frying pan,egg and bacon from the gate of babylon and started cooking.

After a few minutes, kingu was finally finish cooking and the breakfast was finally ready.

Kingu put the food in the table and started walking towards the tent of scathach.

Once he entered the tent of scathach, kingu saw a sight that almost made him wanna attack scathach in her sleep.

Scathach was sleeping on the bed while wearing a very thin silk nightgown something that she probably made using her powers while some cleavage can be seen, making her slightly erotic to kingu.

Kingu struggled to hold back his teenage hormones as he shake scathach in an attempt to wake her up.

Once scathach woke up, kingu told her that it's time for breakfast and hurriedly walked out of tent.

A few second after kingu exited scathach's tent, scathach also exited the tent while wearing her combat suit and approach the table.

Once they sat in the table, kingu and scathach eat their breakfast quietly.

After they finish eating breakfast, kingu started pack the tent and all their belongings while scathach took down the barrier that she had set up last night.

Once kingu was finish packing, kingu and scathach started flying and flew towards ruth village.

After a while, kingu and scathach finally reached ruth village so they stopped flying and landed on the ground.

They then proceeded to the house of Bor, the village leader.

Once they reach the house of bor, kingu knock on the door.

After a few seconds, the door was opened but instead of bor, it was young girl who opened the door.

"Hello sir and maam. How may i help you."the young girl ask curteously.

"Is mr. bor inside?" Kingu replied.

"Yes sir. Should i call him." the young girl ask

"Please do. Tell him that the mages that were here yesterday are back." Kingu replied.

"Okay, please wait for a while" the young girl said as close the door.

After a few minutes, the door was once again opened but this time, it was mr. bor who opened the door.

Bor invited kingu and scathach inside and gestured for them to sit on the couch while bor sat on a chair.

"Since you have came back, i can assume that the beast has already been slain."bor said as the young girl who opened the door minutes ago has returned and have serve some tea.

"That was my daughter." Bor pointed to the young girl.

"To answer your assumption, the beast had already been slain though there was some complication since it wasn't only a maindoresu but an entire colony of maindoresu, though there were still slain by me."

"You were quite lucky that it was us that accepted your request as any ordinary rank S mage would be killed if they were the ones who accepted this request" kingu said as he sip some tea from the teacup and at same time, scathach also sip the tea elegently.

"Can i see some proof that you had really killed the beast?" Bor ask

"Of course, It is your right as the employer." Kingu said as he took out the head of the hijoshiki that he had cleansed with magic this morning.

"Then on the behalf of the everyone in the village, I thank you esteemed mages for killing the group of beast."Bor said as he bowed after confirming that the head was real.

"Please wait for a while sir, while i take your reward from my room."Bor said after he raise his head from bowing

Kingu nodded as response as he agreeded to bor's request.

Bor then started walking towards a room and entered it.

A few moments later, bor exited the room while carrying a black briefcase.

"Here your reward." bor said as he handed the briefcase to kingu who was sitting on the couch

"Inside the briefcase is the original reward, 7 million jewels with an additional 1 million jewels as a gratitude for killing the group of maindoresu." Bor said when kingu recieve the briefcase.

"Well then, We'll be on our way." kingu said as he put the briefcase inside the gate of babylon.

Kingu and scathach started to stand up when suddenly kingu remembered the large amount of dead bodies inside the nest of maindoresu.

"One more thing, is there really only a few people that had gone missing from the village." Kingu ask bor.

"Yes, there was only people that had gone missing from village. Why did sir decided ask that?" Bor replied

"You see. In the nest of the maindoresu, we saw a large amount of remains of dead people." Kingu said.

"Maybe it came from the town at the other side of the mountain." bor replied as he stroke his chin.

"Maybe." Kingu said as decided to forget the matter of dead bodies and exited the house of bor.

Once they exited the house of bor, kingu and scathach got out of the village. After that, kingu summoned vimana and flew with scathach towards blueberry town.

Unknown to kingu and scathach, the colony of maindoresu was the result of an experiment of a dark guild trying to create an army of maindoresu using a live person when suddenly the guild was slaughtered when a maindoresu evolve into a hijoshiki.
