Kage collapsed to the ground when he saw the meter hit 100% mark. After 2 and half month of hard work he was able reach 100%.
He lost his motivation many times to the point listening to YouTube motivational videos didn't help. Which is why he decided to take a break.
Which is why it took so long, but now he was finally able to complete the task. It honestly left him a little depressed with how long it took for him to reach this level because at this pace he will need more 20 years to complete this stupid system.
But at the same time he felt much more stronger now. As a six year old his speed and strength where comparable to that of an adult now. He checked it by challenging his father to an arm wrestling contest.
At first he didn't take me seriously but after I started to beat him easily. He decided to take him seriously after which they had a intense arm wrestling match. Because his father by no means that strong himself he ended up losing.
His father became depressed because of it. He wondered if he will be able to become strong enough to beat great red or ophis. Both of them were casually high planet busters themselves.
He knows that it will take lot of time and effort but he believe that he should be able to do it. What matters is he shouldn't lose motivation this quickly with role models like Vergil sensei he will never give up and reach the Pinnacle of power!
[Host are you going to take your reward or not? ]
The voice office system broken out of his motivationally charged thoughts.
"Oh yeah I completely forgot about that " kage said as he immediately opened the gift box that was in the middle of the screen

[Now you have the title of expert of Combact, you can level up this ability by achieving other titles]
"Huh? What do you mean by other titles? "
[Right now you are expert of Combact, next level is master of Combact then emperor of Combact and lastly God of combact]
"So if I level it up and get those other titles what will happen then? "
[Each time you level it up the efficiency of this ability will increase by 20%]
Oh..
He gets it now this will allow Combact manipulation to be more effective and powerfull. Right now as expert of Combact he gets a 20% boost.
If he levels up and becomes a master of Combact then his over all powers will increase by another 20%. This is interesting indeed.
"So, what do I have to do for it to level up then? " he asked in a curious tone
[Just fight things]
"Huh?"
[Just fight things it will level up automatically]
"Uhh.. I guess that makes sense... " why wouldn't it after all the ability name is Combact manipulation so fighting is a must.
Kage looked at his fist and thought to himself.
He feels much stronger now with the 20% boost as if he could punch a hole through a wall. Honestly it felt great, and he can't wait for more...
He need more power!
(At home)
Arashi shouted "Kage I challenge you to a arm wrestling contest again! "
Kuroi deadpened at her husband and said "Honestly honey wasn't those loses enough? "
"No! My manly pride will not take it! Come here boy! Let you old man teach you things about sacrifice!"
Kage looked at his fathers eyes and the only thing he saw was determination in them. And it motivated the f*ck out of him. Kage grinned and said
"Bring it on old man! "
He was truly proud of his father
On the side line kuroi watched as her husband and son stared another arm wrestling match. She couldn't help but sigh as a smile formed on her face she really liked times like this.
"Damn it I lost again!! "
"Hehe~ better luck next time dad"
Men will be men...
(At night)
In Arashi and kuroi's bed room both parents were preparing to go to sleep. Kuroi then noticed that her husband after so many years is smiling happily.
She couldn't help but ask "Arashi-kun what are you thinking right now?"
Arashi looked at his beautiful wife and smiled at her, he then asked " hey honey.. "
"Yes? "
"Will you support me no matter what I do? "
Kuroi smiled at him and replied to him in a kind voice "Of course... "
That's all he needed to hear as his smile widen hear her reply, he then said to her "Well then let's go to sleep, we have lots of work tomorrow " he went to sleep as he said that.
Kuroi just looked confused by his antics, after so many years of working as a salary man with little pay and lots of hard work she rarely seen him smile. And it made her wonder what changed now.
Kuroi just thought 'I hope he doesn't commit some crime'
(With kage)
Kage was practicing with his Combact manipulation ability and he learned a lot about this particular power. First, not only it gives him a power boost and works like a sharinggan but also gives other perks aswell
Combact manipulation can allow him to much easily adapt to someone's fighting style and even create a counter for them according to the description that the system gave him.
It also has a hidden perk aswell as it improves the training effectiveness. Basically to put it simply it increase the over all results of a persons training.
Like if I were to do 50 push ups that would be equivalents to doing a 100 push up for a normal person.
And each time I level up this ability the effectiveness of this perk also increases many times. This perk will be very important in order for him to get strong quickly.
[Loading... ]
Looks like the system is doing something but what? He got his answer when in a hologram type fashion a old man appeared in front of him. He looked like a hologram that is being scared from a projector.
Wait a minute...
He knows this old man! He is sensei from sf2!! The same man who helped shadow in his journey!
"I see that you are suprised by my presence Mr kage" the old sensei said to him.
"Yeah... I kinda am... " kage truly didn't know how to feel about this situation right now...
"Well first things first, I will introduce myself to you, as you know i am sensei from shadow fight 2 or at least his hologram" the old man said as kage nodded.
"Good and my purpose from here on out is to assist you for the next level" kage was confused so he decided to ask
"Wait are you going to help me fight?" he asked as the old man shook his head and said
"No merely assist at best"
He frowned at this and then decided to ask the old man.
" So what's my next task?" the old man then replied to him saying "Your next mission is to defeat my disciple Ken in hand to hand combact"
"Ken... " kage thought then it clicked in his head! Ken was the guy that they fight first in sf2 during tutorial match! He remembered when he first played that game there was a short tutorial match.
At first they practiced all the moves in the dojo and then they would have a practice match with Ken. This is similar to that whole scenario, he then asked the old man.
"OK but what are my rewards for this match?"
"You will be able to unlock new perks and power ups which will be completely random and also you will achieve master of Combact title"
This shocked kage as he thought about it for a moment, perks in shadow fight 2 can be unlocked in skill tree. These perks were fully automatic and can give advantages to the user.
Some perks increase the chances of critical stroke while other reduce overall damage and give protection against stun/shock. Those will be immensely usefull in the near future.
Plus he will also become master of Combact after this which is a plus. With a look of determination in his eyes he said to sensei
"I am ready!"
Sensei nodded his head and said
"Very well"
Kage immediately got terminated to the battle ground...

Another chapter complete!
Honestly I completely forgot about MCs parents. Next chapter we will have our first fight sence and have some character bonding/ development moments.
I wanted to explore MCs parents as character some more and give them more prominent roles that will help shape the Mc s believes in the future.
