11 Chapter 11: Magic Net
I walked to my underground warehouse, where I ordered the T-1000 to store the minerals it had excavated. During the past months, my warehouse has been filled with tons of gold, silver, iron, diamonds, topaz, and ruby.
As I walked past the minerals, I saw that they all emitted some dark energy and were probably dangerous to normal humans. But I didn't pay that any mind and took ten tons of every precious mineral there.
"What I took is only a drop from all that I have here, it's pointless to have all of this without putting it to use. Maybe I should capture some blacksmiths to work for me in the future." Demons aren't exactly the creative type, but I am sure that there are some good blacksmiths in the abyss.
I then teleported to my dissection room and looked at the unconscious demon on the table, I had already performed the procedure on him and made in him five magic nets. The nets this time were very powerful and in previous experiments only lasted for a few usages before falling apart.
'Now, let's make sure that the magic nets will not deteriorate'
[liquid Mithril-250ml of mithril made from the combination of my silver and diamonds. Can amplify and strengthen magic abilities, adaptable bio-metal. Soul consumption 35,000 low-quality souls]

'Create the items'
"The mithril is expensive but I did give it the amplify, strengthen, adaptable, and bio metal traits. Well, it is a small price for the abilities that I will get in return." I then took the syringe gun from the system and put the liquid mithril container in the gun.
'You better not disappoint me, or dying will be the least of your concerns.' I thought as I injected the unconscious demon with the liquid mithril.
As I injected liquid mithril, I saw how the mithril traveled from the injection site in his neck to the rest of his body. The demon woke up the moment the mithril entered his body and started screaming and convulsing, I restrained him and continued to monitor his condition through the symbiote.
"IT BURNS IT BURNS IT BURNS"
The demon kept screaming and after looking at the mithril inside his body I understood why. "There's holy energy in the mithril, I didn't feel it through the container but now that it's inside his body I can feel it."
I switched the syringe gun from inject to extract and was about to extract the liquid mithril. "Wait isn't this the perfect opportunity to watch the effects of holy power on the demonic physiology."
I put the gun next to his head and continued to monitor his condition, the liquid mithril burned his flesh as it traveled through his body. It wasn't strong enough to kill him immediately, but he wouldn't survive long, especially now that the mithril started bonding with his magic nets.
At this point, the demon started to lose consciousness again. So, I made sure to keep him awake after all I didn't want him to miss the most interesting part.
"Please… just let me… die" whispered the demon weakly with a hopeless look in his eyes.
"You should be happy after all, you give your life for a higher purpose. Making me stronger." I said smilingly to the dying demon as I patted his cheek.
The mithril enveloped the magic nets and started to bond with it. The process took a couple of minutes, but it did succeed the mithril did as I hoped and strengthened the nets. The final result looked like a DNA strain that was made from mercury, one part the red magic net and the other the silver mithril holding it all together.

"Now, I order you to use your new abilities and change this to a ball and back as many times as you can." I ordered and pointed to the metal tray next to him.
By this point, he was barely alive from the mithril emitting holy power inside of him. But he managed to look at the tray and the tray turned into a ball, after using his new powers a dozen times he died.
"I did it, I FINALLY DID IT!!!" I shouted in happiness as I watched my experiment succeed.
'The demon died from the holy power, but the magic nets worked better than I expected. The mithril did its job it amplified and strengthened the magic nets, I should be fine with my new attribute for holy power and twilight energy.' I then extracted the mithril with the syringe gun and walked to the throne room. I had to think of which five magic nets, I should create inside my body.

"Yes, those five powers are the most powerful that I can create right now. Then it's settled then let's start the creation of my magic nets." I then took the liquid mithril container out of the syringe gun and made my twilight energy course through it.
"I will keep doing it until I see a physical change in the mithril, this should be enough to make my body less repulsive to it." I then set on my throne and kept focusing on the liquid mithril as I started to change it little by little.
As I was transforming the liquid mithril, I heard the door of the throne room opening and Hecate walked in with Atropos behind her.
Atropos sprinted to me and tried to sit on me when I warned her. "No, bad girl!!! Don't you see that I am doing something important?!?!"
After I yelled at her, she looked like she was about to cry and set on the floor, as she covered her eyes with her paws.
Hecate stood next to me, and she smiled while looking at Atropos weeping on the floor. "What are you doing master?"
"I finally succeeded in my experiments on the magic net project, so I am about to do the procedure on myself." I said without looking at Hecate and continued to focus on the mithril.
"What experiment can you tell me about it?" asked Hecate with a curious look.
"Didn't you read the last few chapters?" asked Apophis while looking back at Hecate.
"The chapters of what master?" Hecate tilted her head while asking me.
"My experiment journal, it's in my dissection room." I said matter of factly.
"I never went inside your dissection room master and even if I did, I would never read your journal without your permission." As she said this, I realized that she would have no knowledge about my experiments.
"Well, let me give you the short version. I scanned all the demons that I captured for their magic circuits, as you know every demon after their advancement to middle rank develops magic circuits in their body. The primary one is the main ability of their specie, and secondary one's if they have other attributes. You already know all that right?" I asked Hecate and she nodded at me.
"My magic net project combines a lot of magic circuits into one magic net, this magic net is a stronger ability that a normal demon won't develop naturally. For example, I gave one of my test subjects the ability to manipulate matter and he was able to change a piece of charcoal into a diamond." As I said this Hecate looked at me in shock.
"Does that mean that you can create any magic ability that you want?" asked the excited Hecate.
"Technically yes, if I have the right magic circuits I can make the specific magic net that I want with a little experimenting. But this method has a few flaws, the two major ones are that I don't have all the magic circuits that exist. and the more powerful an ability is, so does the magic net become bigger, putting more strain on the already fragile net. After a couple of uses the nets break down due to the pressure on them and the demon can't use magic again." Hecate was horrified hearing the side effects since a demon that can't use magic is cannon fodder.
She then looked at the liquid mithril that I was holding and spoke. "I assume that this is your solution to the magic net instability"
"That right this is liquid mithril that I modified to bind with the magic net and strengthen it. And after I finish changing it with my twilight energy, it will finally be finished." I said while looking at the liquid mithril that was mostly already transformed from its silver color into a red-black color.

"Are you also changing your bloodline with the magic nets?" asked Hecate in confusion.
"No, my next big experiment is about changing and merging bloodlines. But the magic nets won't change my bloodline just give me new powers that I chose beforehand." I answered Hecate and made the two last things that I needed.
I removed and destroyed the old needle in my syringe gun and put in a new sterilized needle. I then looked at Atropos and said "Kid make sure never to share or use used needles"
Atropos looked at me with a confused face and tilted her head, so I just threw a dog biscuit at her and watched her eat it happily.
"You favor that beast too much master, did you know that she poops outside my bedroom door every day. When I chased her, she ran inside your room because she knew that I wouldn't barge in." Hecate accused Atropos with an angry expression.
"Atropos did you do it?" when I asked Atropos, she gave me the puppy eyes and shook her head from the left to right.
"Hecate stop making up stories about Atropos she clearly didn't do it." I said while patting Atropos's head and scratching the inside of her ears.
"What?!?! but only the three of us live here so it had" I interrupted Hecate before she could finish.
"Now that the matter has been solved and the liquid mithril transformation is done let's begin the procedure." I ignored Hecate and pulled out the second item that I created, a container filled with painkillers and put it in the syringe gun.
'Will leave the pain for my test subject, there is no reason to suffer if I can avoid it.' I then injected the painkillers and felt them worked, it felt good.
'Okay, let's start building the magic circuits needed for my five nets. I will also spread them across my body maybe my little theory will be right' I then started to build the magic circuits with my symbiote the process did use some of my magic power but nothing serious happened I will just fix it later.

I then started connecting the magic circuits to five magic nets, one in each of my limbs. The biggest one was the matter control in my upper body, I needed dozens of magic circuits for that one.
Once I finished with the construction of my magic nets, I took out the empty container of painkillers and put the liquid mithril in the syringe gun. I then took the syringe gun and injected the liquid mithril into my thigh, and watched it spread across my body.
I didn't feel pain as the liquid mithril moved around my body, but I did feel weird and uncomfortable. I felt like a thousand little snakes slithering inside my body, and my eyes opened in shock as the mithril started the bonding process.
'I feel so sensitive, like I didn't have skin until now." I felt the magic in the air more clearly, and I knew that I had a stronger command over magic.
I then raised my right hand and pointed to the doors of the throne room. Suddenly two clamps started to form and grow from the floor until they took the shape of two knights, who were guarding the entrance to the throne room.

"It took a little more magic power than I would have liked, but nothing that I didn't expect from my matter manipulation ability."
'System show me, my new abilities'
[Matter Manipulation- manipulate the particles that act as the building blocks for physical matter as well as the bonds between them for a variety of applications. These can range from the spontaneous creation of matter to the conversion of one type of matter into another.]
[Damage Negation- you can negate any damage physical, mental, supernatural, etc. This is an active ability, that will continue to work if you have magic.]
[Imprison- seal other's power and imprison them in some kind of a container jars, swords, living bodies. The power of the seal and the success rate are dependent on your strength compared to your target.]
[Amalgamation- merge two or more separate objects into one regardless of whether the objects are organic or inorganic. You can decide which part of the objects are dominant in the union, what to delete, and what to merge.]
[Disruption- you can disrupt any system you have an affinity for. The scale of the disruption and the duration is dependent on your power]
'Everything went according to plan, now let's finish my business here and promote'
