The Next Day

After my father reclaimed the clan head position, I became a lot freer as I didn't have to attend the daily debrief on the overall progress of the village because that starts to take a toll on you after a week and I had to do that for almost 2 years every morning and half of the time it would be just over the simplest things such as how much fish are we need to bring in or the training of the younger generation. I tried something I haven't thought of [ If water particles are in the air can somehow gather them and jump on them or even walk in the air like land ] but the thought behind that was rough. I still tried and tried but every time id step down the particle would start to flow around my foot. I thought of a simpler method in seconds immediately after the fourth try.

I summoned some water in the air and just step on that it wasn't as cool as seemingly stepping on air but it'd due. After a few hours of refining my control over water magic by creating complex and detailed shapes and figurings, I came out of my cave. It was time for me to do the daily hunting with the tribe even though I was strong enough to go out myself it was better to stay in contact with the tribesmen instead of shutting myself off like some sage. " Hey Clan He-, I mean Alex can we go a little deeper in the ocean we are confident to catch higher quality fish to trade since we hunted it all in the hunting zone," I thought to myself [ Well it can better prepare the tribesmen who didn't attend the training but I won't hold there hand this time] I smiled and nodded to myself and said " Yeah but this time im not going t save you if you die you die i wont risk my life because i still have a lot of my own to live" lying right through my teeth to sound intimidating.

Some cheered and some looked slightly worried but with the encouragement of the rest of the hunting tribesmen, they stilled themself. Oddly enough I have a faint sense of crisis but I just chalked it up to my imagination because to my knowledge im at least one of the top predators on this planet. "Let's move out!!" If you were an outsider and looked at this you'd see a Na'vi that is a head shorter and leaner than the adult Na'vi that are bulky but are following him like a duck leading its ducklings into the water. It takes us about an hour with their speed to reach beyond the normal hunting grounds.

It was funny seeing them work so hard hunting without even using bait or anything to attract the odd-looking fish's attention but eventually, their attempts proved successful because after the second attempt one of them managed to hit a fish in the reef. This seemed to attract a pair of nalutsa(Ugly as$ sharks) I sat back and watch because it's very rare that they appear and I had to stand by my word soon all the tribesmen ready their spears and created a rough circle around them seeing this the nalutsas split of in different direction target the closet tribesmen while dogging an arrow every now and then but unlucky for the tribe they were smart and soon as they approached fast and furious targeting the side of the body that held the weapon and snapped down the guy was swung his tail to the left to push himself out of its range of attack but it munched down on his hand but soon let go because someone shot an arrow at its eye the other nalutsa wasn't so lucky the moment it opened its mouth to arrows targeted it mouths and successfully hit its inner throat making it go wild.

Eventually, after much stabbing and some shooting, they both went belly up but not without a fight because some had bite marks on their shoulder and arms the guy that got bit from the start was missing a lot of flesh from his hand but could only endure it [ Why are they so weak I know the other guys could at least take down one of these in less time with fewer injuries] I quickly swam over with my Ilu and said " Let rap it up I have a bad feeling" and a few minutes later sure enough I looked at the sky and [Holy shit] a huge ass typhoon was speeding our way. "DROP THE PRAY AND GOO!!" I tried using water to push the storm back but that seem to make it worse because it started to become a water typhoon and I noticed the heavily injured were lagging behind.

I secretly bit my finger and heal them enough so it won't affect them but they were too focused on escaping that they didn't notice. While doing this the typhoon was still coming full force ahead and became a full-body water typhoon seeing that it was coming down to choosing to either escape by myself or giving them a chance to make it back. So they can see their family. I sighed [Damn] and slowed to be passed by the last person but noticing that I was lagging behind he turned and said "Clan head you have to speed up o you wont make it back" I smiled noticing his blunder to what he called me and mouthed back "Don't look back and keep going forward" soon rain clouds started to float downward blocking his eyesight and heavy rain shaking the Ilu below him he hesitated and rushed forward.

I sighed and stopped the Ilu below me " Good buddy you served me well but go back " said it looked forward and then back and rushed ahead for a while and looked back and swam back" Must stay" I heard and looked back and smiled but didn't have time to respond because I started to get sucked toward the typhoon I raised both of my and soon a water wall as slowly started to raise and soon the water in that area started to decrease but a wall stood in front of Alex seemingly able to stop the world and the typhoon crashed into no metallic sound was heard only a sound as if water was hitting the ground the wall started to cave in like it was an elastic band "NO NOT YET" and tried pushing it back but my hands started to shake because holding up this much water and strengthing it was taking its toll. and soon my eyes started to see dark spots but the typhoon was starting to disperse but I could hardly keep my eyes open and see it. One hand dropped and the next one soon followed.

With no other choice, I raised a finger to create a water bubble around me and my Ilu but knowing I was running out of time. I tried pushing us forward but the water wall soon started to fall and the water from the typhoon also dropped and *Boom* one loud crash ad the water create a tsunami and wash us away. I soon started to lose consciousness with my Ilu wrapping itself around me and we started to sink but as if Eywa was guiding us we seemingly floated toward a glowing underwater tree that had golden vines the son wrapped around the water bubble.

-The fleeing tribesmen-

One Na'vi name Ravi said " Thank Eywa for guiding us toward safety and started to pray followed by the other Na'vi soon someone realize that Alex wasn't with them " Has anyone seen Alex" they all looked around but one soon they all started to turn a lighter shade of blue as if blood is draining from there face. " I saw him he was lagging behind and told me to go and not look back" everyone looked toward this Na'vi now named Leon but they couldn't relax because soon a Tsunami was coming in on the horizon but they knew if they moved now it wouldn't be a real danger they all moved forward silently all thinking [How are we going to explain this to clan head] Soon they arrived at the village but nobody wanted to go on land to face the clan heads anger.

Leon sighed and got off his Ilu and started to climb ashore but he was soon followed by Ravi "Can't let you take all the blame now can I and how is your hand?" Ravi said with a somewhat dull smile. Leon's face grew worse mentioning his hand because aside from the blood dripping from it every now and then it totally felt somewhat fine compared to when he thought it'd be better to cut it off. " My hand has seen better day's but tats the least of my worries" Ravi nodded and they continued to briskly walk toward the clan head house.

They soon arrived and announced their presence " Clan Head we have an urgent matter that you need to be informed of" soon they saw him walk out and say " Which matter is it this time did the old fellows send you here to tell me we don't have enough food to feed the newcomers again" he said with a smile but seeing there haggard appearance he knew it must not be that " Speak!!" he demanded. Soon they knelt down not daring to face him "We are sorry to inform you that your son has been devoured by a typhoon," they both said at the same time as if they planned it before they got here.

Immediately Tonowari face went blank then he soon roared "mobilize the men to go looking for him now" no matter how powerful his son was even he would fear the power of a natural typhoon. "With all due respect the men are either exhausted or injured or worse both," Leon said with gritted teeth. Tonowari looked at him for a moment and roared so loud that at least half of the island heard him. Soon Ronal rushed out knowing her husband cry "Tonowari what has got you so angered " She walked over and patted his back and he said softly " I have to find him I have to"

She looked puzzled and said, "find who?" Tonowari whispered "Our son he, he has been swept away by a typhoon" she stepped back and said " Impossible Aonu-, no he, he should be able to flee without injury" tears started to flow down her face but she didn't scream she got on her knees and started to pray to Eywa " Please ol great mother im not ready to give back what you have given me please let him be safe he didn't nothing to deserve this" she repeated but while that happened Jon soon jumped out of the water and saw Tonowari miserable face and said, "Tonowari what has upset you?"

A few moments of silence went past before Tonowari spoke " Gather our men we are going on a search party for Alex" Jon's eyes widened and he soon jumped into the water without responding less than 3 minutes all men gather in front of the house in total silence. Leon and Ravi are still on the sideline kneeling because they haven't been dismissed but they were soon suffocated by the arura that everyone gave off they dared not breathe too loudly for fear of attracting anyone of their gaze, especially Tonowari and Jon but soon Tonowari spoke very lightly and solemnly but it was heard by everyone " Alex has been swept away by typhoon knowing him we all know he's not dead but he must be injured if he hasn't made it back by the time this meeting is over I mobilize you to look for him no matter the cost" he turned his gaze toward Leon and Ravi "Where did his take place can you show us that'd save a lot of time" They both nodded and soon rushed toward their Ilu but they noticed that there was too tired to do another long trip like that so they had to bunk with one of the warriors which were a little embarrassing considering they are the same age and somewhat rivals since they decided to train with Alex.

Still, they endured and arrived thirty minutes faster than the hunting group "Here is where Alex told me not to look back before we got separated " they all nodded and Tonowari said you can use the Ilu o get back" the moment he said that the rest jumped of there Ilu and searched the area like a bullet in the water. Leon and Ravi were shocked seeing how fast they swam and hurriedly left while sharing one Ilu.

And like this two weeks passed but the search area got bigger and bigger but it still didn't yield any results.

-Two weeks Alex-

Someplace Alex and his Ilu can be seen wrapped in vines but neither of them moved. Soon I open my eyes only to see im in a forest seeing some forest Na'vi they are holding guns and are ambushing a train and when I got closer it soon blew up " OH SHIT" I said and started to run but it was too late and one of the carts slammed into me I tried water being but not a lot of water came and I was crushed so I thought I soon open my eyes seeing that im in the trailer with a bunch of guns and ammo and tried picking it up but my hand passed through [Oh?] I thought to myself and walked out of the trailer to see the Na'vi rush over to open the trailer I was just in to get the guns and ammo. Soon two teen Na'vi that I vaguely remember from somewhere come and grab some guns and one of them said " Loak Dad is going to kill us" the one named Loak said " Neteyam stop being a buzz kill" I now remember who they are " those are Jakes" kids I said aloud but it seems nobody can hear me but I soon remember that a missile was coming soon.

I knew talking wasn't going to work so I tried the only way I knew I could affect this world right now water. But only a small blob appeared [This will have to do] Soon the water ball landed right below Neteyam and spelled "RUN" but he just stepped on it and looked down and shook his foot "Damn" I said and this time I floated "RUN" in his face before it fell down. This time he looked spooked and asked loak " Did you see that water floating " loak just looked back and said "Neteyam stop joking around" Neteyam thought for a few seconds and said "we should go now " when he recalled the word he first thought was his eyes playing tricks but looking down and seeing that mud spot he knew what he saw wasn't fake and he knew it formed run before falling. He hurriedly urged loak onto his banshee and they soon made it off the ground just in time to see e aircraft approaching "Dad aircraft is approaching"A few seconds later they heard "Roger and get out of there fast " they both nodded and soon gained some distance from the rest and soon they heard the explosion but luckily thanks to the warning most of the Navi escaped *BOOM* they saw that their father flanked the aircraft and shot it down "SO COOL" they both said.

I looked from below and said "I wish I can follow them" and looked around and thought of something and jumped into the air and sure enough, I soon floated "Yes I knew it since im something like a spirit I should be able to float. I soon followed them and arrived in the mountains and floating island seeing all types of creatures and plants for the first time which purely fascinated me. Soon we arrived in the village and saw a whole bunch of warriors who are injured and kids running around. This time instead of scolding Loak and Neteyam he hugged them and complimented them on their efforts to help the tribe by getting guns but not neglecting their duty as serving as scouts. I followed Loak, Kiri, and spider into the laboratory where they talk about fathers which is so boring.

I walked toward Grace's avatar and she started twitching very but I thought that was normal since she twitched in the movies but as I got closer she started to violently shake and alarms started to go off and which frighten me and I took a step back and immediately she started to twitch less and I thought for a moment and took a few more steps back and finally, she returned to normal. I saw Kiri and the others rush to the pod and soon the scientists started running tests and from the back of the room, I could faintly hear that there was brain activity like she was fighting to wake up or something.

I had decided that it was best for me not to get too close to grace and just looked around the lab since itś been a long time looking at computer screens and stuff even if it was just a whole bunch of data and charts.

Soon night fell and id never been so bored not being able to talk to people but that didn't stop me from playing pranks on the kids. Sometimes id throws a water ball either at Tuktirey or Spider but soon I got bored of that and just ventured off until morning.

-1 week-

The fated day has finally arrived Jake's kids and spider finally decided to go down to the band area where jake fought the colonel. I do have to admit this forest is very beautiful but decided to stay with Kiri since I knew something unique was going to happen when she took her nap and soon enough the grass started to sway and I sat down next to her and touched her and soon everything went white and I saw her talking to her mother grace soon looked my way and said "your not suppose to be here" and I was hook because for the first time I like a week that the first time someone acknowledged my presence and Kiri soon turned her head looking puzzled seeing such an odd Navi for the first time "Oh hello I didn't think you'd be able to see me" but grace didn't take her eyes off me but Kiri did and said her favorite line "Who is my father or is this a younger version of him" and soon it was like grace couldn't breathe and couldn't form words and then she vanished out of thin air but oddly enough the scenery didnt change and kiri turned to see if I vansihed also but seeing I didn't she gave me a questioning gaze.

I smiled and said, "No im, not your father im more of the person or could be considered a spirit for right now that has been watching yall" Kiri walked closer and said "a spirit" with gleaming eyes and started to circle around me touching me to see if her hand went through and sadly it didn't she frown and said "Don't try to scam me I can clearly touch you" I facepalmed and said "we're in your mind" and soon the top of the ceiling started to break apart and turn into white particle and we both heard "Kiri wake up" and soon she opened her eye and saw Tuktireyshaking her she looked around and saw me sitting crossed legged slowly opening my eye and said "Hey you" and tried to grab me but went straight through my leg her eye widen and Tuktirey said "Kiri are you ok nobody there" I quickly stood and said "Don't make this matter any worse just act like you don't see me for now or she'll think your going crazy" she nodded and said "Oh i was just a litle dizzy" Tuktirey kepy pulling her and said "Let go they found it" she just nodded and let herslf be pulled while shooting glances at me.

I just sighed and said, " I will only warn you once id advises you to contact your parent now and not later" while following she hesitated for a moment and pressed the button on her throat then let it go while following I whispered "idiot" but she heard me and glared I just shrugged and stayed quiet. Soon the rest of the gang got together and walked toward the metal laboratory but they spotted a footprint "Last chance" Kiri looked at the footprint and then at me then she grit her teeth and said "im going to call this into father before proceeding I have a bad feeling" they looked at her before Loak said "Come on stop being a buzz kill we don't know what type of creature it is so lt not rush because of a false alarm and if you hadn't noticed father will kill us if he finds out" Kiri gritted her teeth and pressed the button on her collar " Father there seem to be big footprints leading to the abandoned laboratory" a few seconds later he said "Are they fresh or look relatively old" she replied back resh" he soon replied saying "Back out with caution don't make too much noise" Loak looked dissatisfied and said "We should scout maybe that be more helpful knowing what we're going up against"

I just shook my head watching him convince the rest of their group except Kiri. She knew she couldn't stay back alone and just followed the group. From the leaves, they saw Na'vi in some weird clothing searching the laboratory. Loak this time reports back to his father "I told you guys to pull back to advance leave that place now " I just shook my head and said "Kiri not to alarm you but get ready to get kidnaped" she looked at me and looked back but a hand already grabbed her and the rest. Soon they are sitting in front of the Colonel noticing their five fingers instead of four immediately calls for extraction. "Now we play the waiting game and six hours pass and im just floating back and forth around the area looking for something new to do and I see jake slowly land on a tree.

I float back to Kiri and say "Your parents are here get ready to run" she nods and braces herself. I, on the other hand, wrap her hands in the water trying to get her hand to slip out but it didn't work. she looked at me with many questions but then I just did the thing I knew would exhaust me right now. "Its going to get a little cold" I held my hand over the bracelet handcuffs and soon it started to freeze. "Pull your hands apart and grab the little one and run" Soon Neytiri started making sounds alerting them that they have arrived and a few minutes later an arrow came and nailed the guy holding Kiri and that was the time she broke the handcuffs grabbed Tuktirey and ducked and dogged the bullets but another arrow came and freed spider and Loak.

Soon the colonel threw the bomb and blasted spider off a tree and Kiri seeing this tried to go to him but seeing Neytiri appear she couldn't because she started to get dragged. I yelled "This is the last thing I can do for you because my time s almost up I feel it" I create a water arrow and shot it toward one Navi immediately killing him with a headshot. I look down to see spider stunned but it's up to him now I turn to colonel and jakes fights and floated there with much effort and gathering all the water I can and cutting through a tree and pushing it with some water and soon it started falling toward the colonel and *BOOM* just barley dogging it he rolled giving Jake enough time to run. With this, I felt myself starting to fade until I Open my eyes and see golden vines everywhere.

I saw my braid slowly disconnect from the vines and they started to glow brighter Illuminating the inside of the vine ball even more but what attracted my attention was the Ilu it got way bigger and had golden stripes going down its back still sleeping I didn't want to disturb it o I sat down and tried to get my thoughts together.
