Chapter 8

"Mom I am gonna go to the shop, I have transferred some money, use it as you see fit," said Su Ping as he put on his shoes.

"Kay, take care"

"....?"

"Wait, wait, wait, what did say just now?"

"What money?" ask Li Qingru as she immediately picked up her phone to check the notification that just came, it was from her bank and now her bank account had 500k more astral coins.

It was a notification of his account receiving money and it came from her sister's account, she had sent back the money he transferred to her account.

"Anyway, you don't have to worry about either me or Yue, I will take care of everything" Said SU Ping with a 100-watt, eye smile as he left through the door.

"You…" Li Qingru wanted to persuade her son but in the end, refrained when she saw his smile when he mentioned his sister while leaving, it seems her son has already grown up, and a smile also formed on her face, and she went back to the kitchen.

Soon Su Ping reached his store, the whole way he was thinking about how to mend his relationship with his sister, he realized that keeping the status quo as it is between them would definitely hinder Yue's progress and now that he had accepted this family as his own from the heart he has no desire to see them suffer or be in danger and the best way is obviously to increase their personal strength, that way even when he isn't there they would be able to take care of themselves. He came out of his musing as he saw the box outside his shop, a chuckle escaped his lips as he remembered the last night.

After settling the payment, it was decided that the pretty pair will come tomorrow afternoon with the delivery van for transportation. With everything done, he was going to leave the shop when he thought of something.

'System, you can read my thought right, what do you think is it allowed?'

Getting the answer from the system he picked up a board that had the open/closed sign, pasted a piece of paper on one of the sides, and wrote something, Su Yanying, and Lan Lele who were prepared to leave also stopped to observe because of curiosity, soon Su Ping finished writing what he wanted, got out of the store and fixed the board on the empty box that was connected to the wall adjacent to the shutter and read donation box.

The sign said Gratitude Box, and an account no. was written below it along with the account holder's name: Su Ping. It was obvious that it was the owner's account as it was the same one that Lan Lele just made the payment to. It was hard for them to wrap their head around the eccentricity of the owner. On one hand, he waived all the expenses for Su Yanying and sold hard-to-come-by treasure at dirt-cheap prices, and on the other hand, he did this.

This kind of behavior was really weird for them, still as Lan Lele saw the sign, instead of thinking about the purpose of the owner, she decided to use action and transfer some funds to see the owner's reaction. As for how much she decided a million should do as they are neither too much nor too little compared to the actual value of things she bought considering she doesn't yet recognize most of them.

As Su Ping locked the shutter he heard a his phone notification sound and a smile formed on his face,

"Thank You very much for your patronage, Miss. Lan, next time when I fill up the shelves I will make sure to inform you beforehand and if you are interested in buying then I suggest that you come to the store as soon as you can as I operate on a first come first serve basis and if someone else bought the things before you the it would be on your luck."

He knew what he did was a bit shameless but with all the money from shop being converted into energy points he has to look for a way to get normal funds at least until he gains sufficient strength to earn on his own hence as he saw Lele doing the transfer instead of checking the amount which may seem even weirder he gave her a piece of advice and a head start in a way that won't push the limits set by the system and departed after having a small chat, where he explained them about the current three services provided by the store, their benefit, cost and all.

After Su Ping left the girls called for a taxi and left for their home as well.

*Flashback END*

The shop was opened and Su Ping directly went inside the Pet room. It was time for his awakening.

He took out the potion he bought last night, opened the lid, and poured it into his mouth, instead of drinking liquid it felt more like drinking a stream of vapors. As soon as he took it he felt a warm feeling spreading across his body, his body also felt lightened, and he could also hear cracking sounds all over his body and mind, it felt like countless pop candies were popping in his head, at one point he couldn't sense anything else aside from things popping and unbelievable comfort, it was a marvelous feeling, he didn't know how long it was when everything suddenly quieted down.

Su Ping opened his eyes and a world in 4k appeared in front of him, if he had to describe it then it was like a change from360p to 1080p, not only that even his hearing felt like a difference between a cheap headphone sound to Sony M5, it was surreal.
