Limbo

I wake up very slowly, Like if I was pulling an all Nighter, but man do I feel light headed as hell

I look around only to see a grey bleak abyss around me, Only then everything came back to me, but I can only seem to piece little parts

I think I remember a gun and a grin

ack- ARGGGG

What is this searing pain in my head, it feels as my head were on fire

"then as fast as it started it stopped"

That was really weird what was that pain I never felt that much pain in my life, but lets ignore that for now I need to find my bearings and try to leave this empty place

There doesn't seem to be much around here, am I even on earth anymore? it's so quiet it super eerie, did I die or something, if so that might explain that fact that I might Be in some type of limbo.

"as I'm pondering my thoughts I see a figure in the distance"

Hmm what, is that person? hey you!

I start walking towards this entity, "can't you hear me calling You dude" I start walking more closer till I'm behind him, I tap his shoulder "HELLO" He finally turns around but I'm left in shock by his face. He has no lower jaw and red irises.

He finally talks " hello young traveler may I ask who are you and why are you bothering me"

I back away in fright of his appearance "Um I ah d-didn't mean to disturb you I just don't know where I am and wish to get out of here"

He breathes a sigh "well Its pretty simple this realm is limbo Its where lost souls come from after death"

so my suspicions were true I somehow died

"Now boy you look new around here so lemme introduce myself I'm denji and you are now a phantom"

well is there any way out here?

"actually yes Limbo you see a very unstable world despite it being so empty Its in fact very unstable it even multiversal pulling phantoms from a lot of different worlds, but that's besides the point to get out of this place In all honesty is super easy"

I slowly turn around to see a white and black portal behind me, It literally looked like a crack in reality

"well knowing you to get out of here go ahead and take the portal but lemme explain a couple of things to you, one this world is still birth world, and all phantoms have the innate ability to recall back to limbo, second is your kind of lucky to be born in limbo so in a sense you have the power to travel the multiverse, and lastly this is the most important thing holy magic is the only thing that can permanently kill a phantom so try to stay away from church's, and that all good luck with your adventure young traveler"

I nod at him "hope well meet again" then, I turn and brace myself for the unknown as run through the portal"
