Adapt and Seduce

Han had to move. In a blink of an eye, he intercepted the woman and hugged her tight as he whispered.

"Don't expose yourself. Hide that medicinal pill."

As soon as she heard his words she stilled, her red teary eyes widened and she gawked at the small Han who was hugging her. His height being around 5 foot 4 inches made his head rest atop her breast, but Han didn't mind this, and he didn't care if the woman did. What matters was that he stopped her, because if he was not the only cultivator in the vicinity then they would know that this woman had pills. It meant that she was an alchemist capable of making them because Han was sure such pills didn't exist in this world.

People around stared in confusion, especially his former classmates. The man with the chiseled physique was still in range, and he also turned to see what happened. His eyes narrowed as he saw the scene of the woman being lulled by a young teen.

The risk of what Han did was high, it put him in the center of attention, but the reward would be just as enormous. A supply of pills and elixirs, this was what this woman meant to Han. If he could take her then traversing this world will be a lot easier, especially since he needed that pill now for his broken ribs.

"Get them to the examination grounds! I don't want to see more pathetic crying!" The man with a chiseled physique scowled at Han and the woman, before pacing away towards a four-story prison building in the center.

"C-Chen..." The woman understood her situation, but it didn't stop her from crying at all. Instead, she wrapped her arms around Han and hugged him tight as she wailed. Han felt the top of his hair get wet from tears and snot, however, he endured it as he couldn't be angry at his pill supply.

"Don't cry anymore, Elder Sister, we have to stay strong, for Chen." Han started the act all over again.

It surprised him that he was not the only one reincarnated, but he should have expected this as he himself was seemingly reincarnated for no reason as well. In any case, being shocked about reality wasn't advisable, he should accept and adapt to this revelation and that is to be done by using her as an alchemist.

"Follow me maggots! If you even try anything..." The ugly fat thug with a new black eye sneered as he pointed at Chen's body being hauled away.

Han felt the woman's breathing accelerate, and he was even pulled deeper into her breast. Han could feel her temperature rising, and she buried her nails onto his sides,

'Fuck, woman! Don't pour your anger on me!' He thought,

"Don't do anything that might lead to conflict Elder Sister," Han tried to whisper, but his lips were on her breast. Luckily, the feeling of lips moving on her was enough to stop her from lashing out at the fat thug. She quickly realized that she was suffocating Han and let him go.

"You're from --"

Han hushed her. He lowered his head and put a finger to his lips discreetly as he nodded. There was a mutual silence between them, and with the silence was an understanding. She wiped off her tears as she looked on for the last time at Chen's body being thrown in a hole in the ground.

Han noticed the passengers along with the fat thug were all looking at them from a distance, with a scowl visible on the fat thug's face. Han held the woman's hands and led her towards the group. It didn't matter that they were looking at their hands interlinked together, it was a sight they had to get used to.

They followed and entered the same majestic four-story building the man with a chiseled physique entered. What they first heard were endless moaning and cries. The dim light inside also did nothing to help anybody's mood as they proceeded. In the cells, there were people, all injured in varying degrees. They looked at their passing group, with sunken eyes that emitted despair. Han didn't see what the thugs did to them, but from how the men were badly beaten, and how the women were tied up with ripped clothing, he could guess. The beautiful woman's hand clutched tighter at the sight of such barbarity.

A lanky guard pulled up his pants as he went out of one of the cells where a woman was sobbing, and his eyes caught sight of Han's pill supply, the beautiful woman. He was astonished at her beauty first, then his lips twisted into a disgusting smirk. However, he didn't advance, he simply looked at the fat thug and raised his eyebrows repeatedly. Unfortunately for him, the fat thug shook his head, but the smirk from that lanky thing's face remained.

"I'll be waiting for you, baby!" He hollered as he licked his lips and proceeded to enter another cell.

The woman wasn't charmed at all. She just went closer to Han as if he was his protector now. It wasn't such a bad thing for Han, so he just smiled reassuringly at her. They slowed their pace and let a gap form between them and the others.

"I didn't get to ask Elder Sister earlier, but what's your real name? I am..." He whispered, "Jinghan"

"I am, Lian Nu."

Han recognized her name, but she surely didn't recognize his name. Lian Nu, granddaughter of Pill King Sect's Patriarch. Han knew this girl, more specifically, he seduced her grandmother. It's been a hundred years since then but the steamy memory still made Han's groin hurt. And now, if it goes well he might just seduce this little lamb as well. It was a damn good precaution that he didn't tell her his name as her grandfather had hunted him down through five continents.

"Lian Nu, you are grandma Ji Nu's relative?" Han widened his mouth in 'shock'.

"You know my grandmother?" Pleasant surprise washed all over her face, the distance between them became nonexistent as she felt a sense of closeness with him.

"She was very kind to me." Han smiled as he nodded,

'Very kind, indeed' He also thought,

Han paused for a bit and then clamped a hand on his visible injury, his right leg. He let out a groan of pain as he rubbed it, but he kept walking strong. Of course, this was all just a ruse for Lian.

"Are you okay?" Her brown eyes softened as she looked at his young physique.

"I think I can manage." He started to limp,

"You're such a bad liar." She reached into the pockets of her track pants and took out the same pill from earlier, her eyes went somber as she passed on the pill.

"I am sorry about Chen," Han said as he took the pill from her hands and ate it with no hesitation, "This pill wouldn't have saved him, at least it's able to help me, thank you."

Han's body felt the energy heal his right leg, and his broken ribs started to mend. In no time at all his body was back to its peak capacity. He snickered in his heart as this woman was truly a blessing.

"It's okay, Jinghan, I only met him today,"

Han's brow furrowed, "You just met him today?"

"Yes, we were both reincarnated souls but in our body's memories, we were lovers. The sadness and rage that possessed me earlier, I don't know where it belonged, but it was there and it made my heart ache."

Han nodded and answered sincerely, "I understand."

These memories were volatile factors in anyone's mind. The thought of being so emotionally attached to someone or something you don't even know was an absurd weakness. They made him feel things, things that were pleasant. He had never had a desire for such a thing before, and now this desire had led him to a dangerous situation. It was a dangerous weakness, a weakness that he couldn't help but be fond of and hate at the same time.

The fat thug led them to a fence gate leading towards an open courtyard. It was surrounded by a tall barbed fence flickering with electricity. From atop it would have seemed like a square, with the courtyard in the middle of the prison structure.

A number of guards were stationed beside the fence gate while most of them were stationed on the upper floors so they had a splendid view of the entertainment below. Once they caught sight of Han's group they went wild with cheers.

"Hey! Hey! Fatso's back with the new recruits!"

"I bet on that blonde kid!"

"I bet everyone's going to die!"

"Look at that fine lass!"

"Alright, alright." He turned towards Han and the others, "Listen, maggots! If you want to live then you can head back inside, however, those that do will have to entertain us in some other way."

A burst of lusty laughter erupted from him, and most of the male crowd went crazy, especially since Lian was part of the group. Still, Fatso had to burst their bubble just as he did with the lanky man from earlier.

"Don't get excited you, dumbasses! Remember, any pretty lady is only for the boss!"

Boos and complaints were thrown his way but it didn't last long as Lian wasn't the only girl in the group. The fat thug waved Lian over, she didn't want to go, however, Han held her hand gently as he looked into her eyes.

"Don't worry, I'll come for you." He said, and his demeanor along with his innocent young face radiated a strong and firm aura that elicited hope. He had a decent idea of how to act like a hero, he had killed lots of them after all.

His hero tactic was effective as Lian's eyes lighted up at the sight of him. She nodded her head and paced over to fatso courageously. The others took time to make a decision, as it was either get played with to death or get chomped to death. These were Han's former schoolmates, all young and afraid.

"No one's going back? Well, at least it means we have something to watch!" Fatso yelled as he pointed his gun at Han and the others, "Go on! Get in there! If you survive for 10 minutes the boss might even give you a chance to join us! Haha!"

The fence gate opened, and Han saw the eerie courtyard, filled with bloodstains and yet lacking any corpse whatsoever. Just blood, all over. It trailed towards a fence gate at the far end of the courtyard, and into a dark prison hallway. There were weapons scattered all over the courtyard, mostly bats, rusty pipes, and steel rebars. Nothing bladed at all.

Andrew led the way, his face lacked any fear, and his steps were arrogant and bold. The others didn't want to be left behind. They still felt that Andrew could protect them. Han simply followed, and as he passed the fence gate shut. Seeing the multiple people with him, he was already thinking of using them as human shields, yet he could only sigh when he remembered Lian was watching beside the Fatso.

'I suppose I could play nice.'

A blaring horn came from a siren in the middle of the courtyard, and Han reconsidered his thought to play nice when he spotted a familiar ugly creature with horrid long legs, crouching out from the hallway. He didn't feel danger, not until more started to gush out the building like a damn spider nest being disturbed.
