The Brutality

"So, you mean he is a Demi-Human. You broke nature's law?" Belus shouted.

"So, what happened to Shiva?"

Kuni started crying after hearing the question.

"After a few days when I stabilized from the shock, I heard the news that the Demon Lord has beheaded his brother in Infront of every demon."

She started crying louder. Belus sympathised with her and said something to counsel her.

"Hey, from today I will be your big brother and I will save you and that brat from danger. I will protect you from any dangers. I will even train that brat."

Hearing these words Kuni tried controlling her tears but she couldn't, after all, she was happy than ever.

"So, what happened to you? why are you here?"

Hearing the question Belus also became stiff.

"Do you know about The Great War?" Belus asked.

"Yeah, it was between demons and alliance. Of course, I know."

"So, in that war three centuries ago, my great grandfather was leading a group. This group was given the task to annihilate the human fleet. But just when he was about to attack the hero showed up.

That hero killed half of the squad. The group was 1000 demons strong. All demons were elite fighters, but they didn't stand a chance. My great grandfather escaped immediately. He knew killing the hero would be impossible for him.

So, he ran away. He knew the Demon Lord would kill him if he found out about the betrayal. So he took his wife and kids and came here while travelling the ocean. Before leaving the Demon continent he brought another family as well.

My great grandfather lived here then came to my dad and then my great grandfather died. I was born.

A few years ago, the Demon Lord somehow knew about our location. He sent a group to eliminate us. I was on the other side of the island that day and my family was killed leaving me alone."

Belus started crying. He remembered all the bad things.

"I trained myself from childhood. I have hunted monsters from 9 years of age. I went through hell. One day I will kill the Demon Lord." Belus expressed his feelings.

"So from today onwards, I will teach Aiden everything I know and make him a warrior. And, you can call me brother or Belus as well." He said.

(This guy is kind and a little crazy as well. What training would he be able to give me, I wonder.)

As Aiden talked to himself, Kuni collected herself and stood up.

"Thank you, b-brother. I will also help you as much as I can."

Both hugged each other.

Four years later.

A silver-haired young man probably 90cm tall is standing at the tip of a cliff watching the sunset and the beautiful ocean.

"So this island is known as The Island Of Death,

I see."

This young man is Aiden Damart. He was told by Belus that this island is known as The Island Of Death.

There were two reasons for the name. First, there was a lot of The Death (Birds) on the island and second, no one had ever returned after getting inside the forest.

The landscape of this island was unique. Tall mountains and flat-top hills were covering the North, East and West. There was an opening in the South with a lake connected to the ocean.

This was unexplainable. No one knows how a mountain formed in this place. This island was exactly at the centre of the world on the world's map.

"Hey, Aiden get back here. Tomorrow is important."

A bald man with a large scar was shouting.

"Coming" Replied Aiden looking towards Belus.

(Damn geezer, doesn't even let me sit.) Aiden cursed Belus in his mind.

"What did you say?huh?"Belus somehow read Aiden's mind.

"N-No, nothing."

Aiden changed the topic quickly.

"So, You are going to be harsh on me, right?" He asked.

"Don't worry, I will make it so, you will never forget the training. Tomorrow you will turn 5 and your training starts." Belus's eyes were ablaze.

"Aiden, brother, food is ready. Get back quickly."

A beautiful woman with blonde hair called out, this was Kuni. She was getting older.

"Mom, didn't I say to stop doing tough work. Tell this geezer to work as well." Aiden said.

"What did you say? The more you get spoiled the harsher your training gets. Be careful." Belus replied with anger.

Aiden will turn 5 tomorrow and the three of them are family now. They got along very well. They loved each other. No matter what, Aiden's hellish days were about to start.

But they didn't know this happiness was temporary.

Shiva knew his brother would kill him no matter what. He couldn't even oppose him and his death was absolute. The lord hadn't even evolved once and he was stronger than Shiva. After sending Kuni through the portal, he stayed at his place and said

"I am ready to accept your punishment, brother."

And next day he was executed and it was broadcasted throughout the continent with the image crystals. He was beheaded and fed to dogs afterwards.

Author Note:

The regenerative ability only works when a person is not tired and has eaten fully. Shiva was fed until he was full and then his head was cut and thrown into the dogs to feed on.

His head instantly connected but the dogs ate him continuously until he was unable to regenerate.

He screamed until he died. This execution lasted 8 hours making it the longest in the history of the world.
