"Where the hell are you, idiot?!"
Gongyun rolled his eyes and his brat attitude was clearly showing. He never answers a call with this kind of attitude before he wanted to tell him to go scram away!
Mostly, the voice calling him is sweet and happy. Not this dork who was mad and almost destroyed his eardrums.
"I don't know." He said but only received an insult from the other line.
"Are you that stupid? Fuck, just open your GPS idiot!"
Gongyun is beyond pissed. He wanted to punch the man that his brat attitude is showing effectively. A big bulb lantern shows in this mind. He grinned while his eyes were too dark that no one could recognize unless they were Gongyun's close friends and family. A mischievous grin appears on his lips while saying the place that is too far from his place.
"Hyung... I'm here in Busan. My phone is draining! Hyung! I don't know where-." Gongyun ended the call and quickly powered off his phone. He snickers afterward like a madman.
Jamie has an apartment that his siblings don't know about. It was from his biological father and gifted to him when he was in middle school. Luckily, Jamie always has the key in his bag and is thankful for the cash in the kid's wallet.
Gongyun got a taxi and went to a nearby mart to buy cleaning products and food take-out. No one actually lives in the place and Gongyun needed the abandoned apartment to fill his shits together and make a plan so that he could not embarrass himself in front of those people. Rolling his eyes again. Gongyun looks ahead.
This world is too similar to his world. Like a parallel universe. He tried to search for his name but nothing was found. Everything that exists in his world, with people he knows doesn't exist here. It's too complicated as if Gongyun does not exist or the people he knows. It was weird.
Gongyun reaches the tall building with eleven floors. His place is on the fourth floor. He asked the receptionist which miracle because the apartment is high-end too. Jamie's father is living abroad and has his own family. This place is the last gift he received before the divorced and when his father knew that his mother had children with Kim even before they got married. They were kinda ex-lovers and mafia shits happened and fuck up their relationships. They got separated but having kids wasn't enough. Then his mother married her father and got him only to divorce because the Kim mafia is full of shits and got his mother again, now they married and had another kid.
The relationships with Jamie's parents are too complicated that Gongyun wanted to forget and not engage himself with them.
The security helps him bring the cleaning materials to his pad. Thankfully, the place is cozy and complete. No food as expected and dusk is graving on the place. Gongyun cleaning the house makes him sigh with disapproval.
He hated mess. The place is too plain for his taste but luckily the dark gray paint helps to calm him down. The apartment is made for Gongyun's taste, not for Jamie who likes bright colors. The biological father surely thought Jamie likes a bachelor pad. Not a homie place where Jamie feels secure the most. In guilt, Gongyun compromised. He plans to bring more colors so that Jamie has a sense of belonging even though he was already not here anymore.
He cleans every corner, even the empty room that Gongyun thought of decorating as his office and game room. He needs more appliances and some tables, chairs, and a couch. He also needs more curtains and painting materials. He likes to paint the other side of his office like his own room on the walls. Bringing up his touch and marking the place as his.
He finishes cleaning halfway. More on his room because he will sleep there. There are new mattresses and comforters in the cabinet that have not been used yet. The colors are gray, white, and black. Gongyun's heart flutters because he likes it so much. Seriously thanking Jamie's father for having good taste.
He never charges his phone or iPad. He turns everything off so that no one will know he was there.
Gongyun likes to dwell in a fresh and cozy life as he still adjusted to his new identity. Gongyun sleeps like a hog after eating his dinner. Not caring about the people who were looking for him to torture him again.
