Chapter 29

"You will still go to school but I will give you a guard. Tomorrow, I'll go with you. I don't want my worker beaten up, understand?" 

"Also, if your father bugs you about money, just give it to him. I will arrange things after so he will never put his hands on you again."

"Lastly, call me Hyung, you wimp."

Jamie has no schedule today so he hangs out with Ren. They watch movies and eat food in his room. Jamie says that he will buy him clothes before they leave the country but Ren didn't mind it. He says he can wear anything that received huge criticism from Jamie. Ren ignored him with his rants. 

Another thing Jamie has to learn about Ren is he is good at studies. He solves mathematics problems and is even good at reasoning. Jamie praises him and the punk dares to get shy. 

The next morning, Jamie told Gino he will be busy. Gino says he only has scheduled late at night. Ren is going to school today and Jamie will ask the school's permission for a bodyguard. He needed Ren in his best suit while he was handling his paper to move to Korea. 

This time the guard has a car. Ren school is considered public. He hopes it will be easy so when Jamie comes out of the car with Jamie and the guard, some students are looking at them. 

"So, you're famous now?" Jamie teased but Ren only rolled his eyes while they were walking to the principal office. 

Jamie stared at the principal. He is an old man but looked kind. Jamie flashes his fake smile while he seems in awe at seeing Jamie and Ren. 

"Ren is like a brother to me. I want him to be safe, especially on the school premises." Jamie said but his tone is firm. 

"Miyuki-kun is a very smart kid. The school is safe Mr. Kim." Jamie looked at him as if he was judging the principal. He raises his brow and crosses his legs. 

"I believe my little brother is experiencing bullying. I even reported it to the authorities. I'm asking for the sake of respect but I hope we won't make things complicated." Ren is still mute because Jamie already told him everything about his plan and how the powerful families are giving the school donations so their children will be out of trouble. Jamie has seen this before, it never gets old by doing dirty tricks like the others. Jamie isn't a good person after all. 

"Study and go back. He will take care of you." Ren is nodding his head as Jamie messes his head. The guard will stay outside of the classroom but the teachers were also informed. Jamie has his personal number as an emergency contract. The guard is ordered to protect Ren against threats. All in all, he still has the liberty to do his things. Jamie made him promise to be a good boy and Ren agreed with him. 

The guard has seen all of the bullies' profiles that Jamie sends on his email. He has the authority to fight them if it was out of hand. Gino must know what he is doing because the guard is originally his subordinate. 

Gino asked Jamie about Ren that night after the boring meeting. Kun is also raising his brow at Jamie, not really curious but of course, he told them about Ren. 

"Someone who will work for me with my art project in Seoul. He is my muse." Jamie said while eating the steak. Kun and Gino are drinking wine but Jamie hates booze or he isn't a fan of it so he only has apple juice. 

"We need to go to the casino tomorrow night," Kun mumbled, ignoring Jamie's plan for the kid. Jamie is thankful for it too. 

"Casino?" Jamie inquired, he is not familiar with them but maybe he can study some basics till later. 

"You don't need to do anything but your presence is a must. They're expecting us because father said so." Kun says as if reading Jamie's mind. He frowned at him, not sure what he was talking about but didn't like the way he implied things. 

"Then I won't talk to anyone." Jamie countered, staring at his brother with deep and serious eyes. 

"Fine. However, be respectful. I'm not forcing you but be formal at least." Kun's tone is kinda resigned and Jamie nodded his head satisfied. 

They were in the elevator when Jamie asked Gino about Ren's visa and papers officially that he will move to Seoul and work for Jamie in his art. Gino only nodded his head, Jamie is bewildered that he doesn't need information or a passport if ever Ren has it already. Gino said he can request rush papers. It's good that Ren is already eighteen. Parent consents are needed but not necessarily. At least for the Kim strong connection. He can make it possible legally and safely. Jamie bows to thank Gino and promises to be a good boy at the casino with Kun. 

Ren is doing his homework when Jamie comes to his room. He went to the sofa and watched the boy getting busy answering. 

"How's your day?" Jamie asks to make a conversation. 

"Strange," Ren mumbled and shifted his attention to Jamie. 

"They... Those people who bullied me, they're strange... they ignore me now, and it was odd but I'm relieved regardless. 

"Guard-nim performs his job properly." Jamie let out a satisfied grin. 

"The principal suddenly was kind to me too." Ren's eyes were vague but flicker at the sight of Jamie smirking at him. 

"What did you tell him hyung?" Ren asked curiously. 

"Nothing. I just donated money to your school. Nothing big actually, a few thousand yen." Ren's eyes widened in shock, his mouth left in awe and open. Jamie laughs out loud because of it. 

"I told you hyung will take care of it." 

They spent time in the suite watching movies and ordering room service. The hotel has yet to offer and Jamie likes to go outside and scroll but Ren has so much homework to do and Jamie let him do his work. 

He went back to his room at eight and spent his time pampering himself in the warm bathtub. 

Jamie slept early and woke up because of a nightmare. It's the first time he experienced it since he woke up as Jamie. It doesn't feel right and he spends his day in his room. Thankfully Kun is busy and didn't ask him to eat with him. It became their routine now. Ren is busy in school and studies diligently now that no one is bothering him in school. He sends messages to update him. 

Jamie prepares well to go with Kun. Gino gave him a suit, an ebony suit that hugs his body comfortably. Jamie is used to this get-up but wearing it as Jamie seems odd. He goes out to his room and meets Kun in the lobby. Jamie sits in the passenger seat while Kun is in the backseat. 

They hit the busy road after.
