Jamie is looking at his room which now looks more presentable. Yoon does his job and of course, Kim will reward him graciously. The whole room changes to his desire and glad that the designs make his room more cozy and comfortable. Not quite similar to his room in the apartment but close enough to make him feel he belongs.
He misses the piece of himself and his life in the past. The spotlight. He misses them so much that being alone is a huge distance from his used life. Never in his dreams to be someone useless and unloved. Never in his entire life did he encounter whatever mattered and was not just someone who has nothing.
Being a nobody pains him to the core and Jamie is not used to being ignored. Having a room that is close to his personality as Lee Gongyun saves him from not turning insane.
The next morning, Jamie went to his class with a bodyguard. His mother insists that he needs it as long as his murderer was not been found yet. Excuses, he knows. Yoon Lira does not care at all. She was only happy that her husband talked to her child and promised him protection. He doesn't care about the details and this bodyguard is a bother to him if he was being honest.
His day started with his favorite subject, more theories, and an old artist that Jamie found interesting. His favorites are Van Gough and Ante Badzim. He likes them even in his world that he buys their art and hangs it in his working room as one of his inspirations in the game. He made a quiz and some of his players found it interesting and unique. He likes the conspiracy and it helps his imagination to run wild the way he likes it. One of the various reasons why his game is popular with all ages. He was proud of it too.
Lee Gongyun is a great artist and many of his works were hanging in famous galleries in Seoul and around the world. He builds a gallery for the foundation and helps children, old fellows, and stray animals as he bids for his art. He manages foundations under his name and it makes him complete. Helping is one of his hobbies, sympathy, and empathy got into his blood pulses. He could never ignore someone who was in need.
However, that is part of his personality as Lee Gongyun. Being Kim Min Jamie changes his perspective and his mistake from the past changes his values in his new life. To survive, he needs to be more selfish and take priority in his life. He needs to make sure that paving the way to the top will keep him grounded as he gathers his resources for his safety and for those people who will be with him in the process.
In his case, he needs people to do things for him. People he could trust in his life. While the priority is his life, he also needs to protect them so they could be by his side when he reaches the top. No distractions.
He had no one that was valuable enough for him to protect. His family disregards him, he has no love or friends either. His being a soloist is a miracle but many times it saves him from being manipulated and tiny weaknesses couldn't help him to his dream.
Jamie is wearing a simple plain black hoodie and tattered jeans. His bangs covered his forehead making him look drowsy. His bodyguard was waiting in the parking lot or he ordered him to be in a vicinity rather than following him like a lost puppy. Thank god he was a new recruit or afraid of him. He quickly nodded his head and bowed as a sign of respect and followed his instruction.
Jamie is impressed with the coffee shop inside the university. The name Cherry Blossoms is popular with all of the students. Many of them hang out in the place and in fairness, the place can accommodate a large number of people. It has a second floor which has a great view and a cozy atmosphere. There are sofas with cute lanterns and the other side also offers a tea setting place. It was a cool area and Jamie is delighted to visit the place.
He first ordered his signature chocolate drink. Now, he tried the butterscotch, and thanks to the cashier who smiles at him warmly.
He chooses the descent near the glass wall spot. The sun is encircling the area and it looks good to his eyes. Like a raw-made spotlight just for him. (Narcissist mode on)
He opens his iPad and navigates to the application that he created when he was in his cave. The application is as good in creating Al visuals. He made it in his world too.
