24 Ignar test

I woke up the next day, being crushed by my brothers again, this time I didn't try to leave without totally waking them up. Soon they are going to come pick us up for our first day of training. I managed to get out but none of them ended up waking up.

I left them sleeping for now, while I was going to take a walk around the castle, although I wanted to go alone but one of the the guard on came with me.

I wandered around the site for a while and ended up losing, I had to ask the guard where to return, ended up going to the dining room for a light snack before training.

Before a while, the guard reminded me to go with him, that it was time to start training today.

They took me to the same arena where I faced Mykos the other day, to my surprise Mykos was also there, but he was on the other side of the arena waiting.

I stood there waiting where the guard told me to wait until the coach arrived.

In a few minutes a dragon with greens scales that I already knew entered the room.

[Kaiba]: "Ignar, what are you doing here?"

[Ignar]: "I am here since I am going to train you, the king let me train you, for having found you."

[Kaiba]: "Okay then, what are we going to do?"

[Ignar]: "I will give you some tests to see your level. Let's start show me how you do in the air. We will do an aerial combat practice to see how you handle yourself and then I will test your agility."

[Kaiba]: "I can ask something."

[Ignar]: "Of course."

[Kaiba]: "Why someone like the King would give me this opportunity to train and give me a place to be."

[Ignar]: "The reason may be quite simple, dragons of your type are difficult to find and they can handle all the dragons they want by giving orders and they cannot refuse them, so the king will want you to help him in future occasions or simply to control yourself and that you don't get in troubles cause you control some dragons, that would probably make in troubles to the real family if a rumor about a Royal dragon abusing of his power."

[Kaiba]: "It makes sense I guess."

[Ignar]: "Any other questions?"

[Kaiba]: "Not for now."

[Ignar]: "Well, let's start the practice, Mykos volunteered for this and for other occasions. I don't know what you did as a boy so he would be so interested in you."

[Kaiba]: "Did he really offer himself for all the test? (I'm not going to take that Mykos off at this point….)"

[Ignar]: "Let's start now."

Ignar told me to do certain maneuvers in the air to see how I handled out. I did everything he told me.

[Ignar]: "You have good flight control for your age, so let's go to the next step, try to dodge Mykos' attacks and don't attack just defend yourself."

Mykos was called by Ignar and he come. Ignar explained what to do and we both prepared.

Mykos jumped and took height, I also started to fly, once in the air Mykos started to launch some fireballs, which I had to dodge. Nothing difficult until Mykos carried a larger fireball accompanied by others at the same time, because of that fireball I didn't see Mykos arrive, but it gave me time to create an ice wall right in front of me.

This was able to partially stop his onslaught, but thanks to the ice wall I was able to dodge that onslaught. But I had not yet finished other fireballs came in my direction, but this time I created an ice balls and launched them to the fireballs, the ice coming into contact with their fireballs was immediately, melted creating a little vapor in the environment.

It seems that when he saw that his fireballs did nothing, he tried to fly towards me, clearly he had the advantage after all and he was faster than me after all. Although the area was large enough to fly I ended up hitting the wall and behind me came a Mykos at full speed, so I stood still waiting for the moment when he was close I threw myself in a dive, but he gave him time to react and I did the same as me.

Mykos was reaching me quickly and I had to stop to avoid crashing to the ground. So in the end I tried to build an ice wall but I didn't have time to fully form it making Mykos go through it easily and end up ramming me and falling to the ground.

[Kaiba]: "Okay, now you have me, you can stop crushing me, you know?"

[Mykos]: "Let me enjoy the victory a little."

[Kaiba]: "Don't get excited either, I couldn't attack so you had the advantage."

[Ignar]: "It was not bad, you resisted quite a bit against Mykos, which is an achievement. Rest for a while and we will continue with the next test."
