11 Titanomachia Pt.3

We gathered in the conference room of our base in Crete, finally ready enough and prepared to do our final attack on Kronos.

"Little skirmishes aren't going to decide anything, we have to launch a large scale attack to finally take them down", I say seriously.

" I agree, we have to storm Mount Othrys", Zeus responds.

" A full frontal assault on their headquarters. If we do that then the Titans will rally to protect Kronos, then we can take all of them down a once", Zeus continues.

"So you want us to commit suicide", Hades states.

"I agree with Hades. If we March up the slopes of Mount Orthys, Atlas will be ready for us. His troops will have the higher ground. If we try flying in then they will just shoot us down," I add in.

Zeus's eyes gleam. "I've got a different plan, we'll weaken them by attacking from the next mountain over."

"Do what now?", asks Demeter. She looks uncomfortable and frustrated in her armor, although she had designed it herself, inscribed with images of wheat and barley—all the good stuff.

Zeus then takes out a map of the Greek mainland, made by Metis from goat skin, and points to another mountain near Mount Othrys, though not as tall.

"It's called Mount Olympus", Zeus says, "We'll scale it. They won't be expecting it at all! Mount Orthys would be in range for the Hundred-Handed Ones boulders and I will throw huge lightning bolts at it while Poseidon makes huge storms and earthquakes!"

"And I'll turn invisible", Hades mutters.

"You will have and important job too. You can send waves of terror to the enemy ranks with your helmet to destroy their morale and confuse them", I say to Hades.

"Once we've destroyed their defenses, we'll fly over there and—", Zeus gets cut off by Hera.

"Including us three goddesses?", Hera prompts.

"Sure", Zeus says while smiling nervously, "Did you think I wouldn't?"

"Yes", Demeter says.

"Uh, anyway we'll go over there and take them prisoner after we win", Zeus finishes.

Hestia wrapped herself in her plain brown shall. "I still think we should make peace", she says.

"No!", we all respond in unison.

...

(Third Person)

The next morning, as Helios rode the sun into the sky, Kronos awoke to a sound like thunder.

Probably because it was thunder.

Thunder and storm clouds rolled in from every direction. Zeus hurled a lightning bolt that blasted the tallest tower into black marble ruble. And then continue to chuck them randomly at any part of the palace.

Poseidon summoned storms and earthquakes that shook Mount Orthys to the core. Flooding and crumbling the once beautiful obsidian palace floors.

The Hundred-Handed Ones threw so many boulders, so quickly that it seemed to be raining them.

The beautiful and elegant palace domes imploded and exploded into mushroom clouds of dust.

Walls crumbled like legos. Columns fell like dominoes. The Hundred-Handed Ones had built Mount Orthys, so they knew exactly how to destroy it.

Then the waves of terror came. All the Titans around started screaming in terror from enemies invisible to anyone but them. They abandoned their posts and fled in random directions. Hades helms' terror was so powerful that even Kronos shivered and trembled from fear.

Even so, Kronos managed to grab his scythe and called his still sane brethren to attack.

.....

(First Person)

Zeus, Hades, Hera, Demeter, Hestia, and I all march our way into the palace till we reach the throne room.

The once beautiful palace was now in ruins, barely recognizable.

Inside the throne room was Kronos, four of his brothers—Hyperion, Iapetus, Crius, and Coeus, plus his general—Atlas.

They stood in the throne room radiating an intimidating and oppressive aura.

Looking at Kronos again, I now realize that I look a lot like him.

We have the same blonde hair and pale skin, though his eyes are golden, not sea blue like mine.

"Attack!", Kronos screams loud enough to be heard over the noise.

Hyperion immediately sprints towards me, leaving huge craters with every step.

During these past ten years, I managed to convince Oceanus to teach me how to properly wield a trident whenever I wasn't in a battle.

Hyperion swings his huge golden fiery battle ax at me, but I manage to dodge to the side and retreat a few steps to assess the situation.

Hestia is fighting Coeus— Titan of the North and cold, he shot beams of freezing cold while using his spear. Hestia used her DOMAIN and a sword to combat him.

Hades is fighting Atlas—Titan of endurance and strength. Its a brutal fight. Hades is using his war fork and Atlas uses a sword, both fully fighting in close combat. Hades didn't seem like he had enough time to call upon his DOMAIN.

Hera was fighting Iapetus, Titan of the West and pain, she seemed to be loosing the fight, but everyone was to busy to help her. Any time Iapetus touched her, she screamed as if she was being tortured.

Demeter was fighting Crius, Titan of constellations. She was using her DOMAIN to try and entangle and trap him in wheat while he dodged around extremely fast.

And Zeus...he was fighting Kronos and losing extremely badly. Zeus looked as if he was wading through mud when trying to move towards Kronos.

Kronos took his time beating Zeus while monologuing like a typical super villain.

I turn my attention back towards Hyperion—Titan of light, just in time to see his fist only an inch from my face.

Though my assessment of the situation only took half a second at most, Hyperion was already in front of me.

His fist connects with my face and I go flying backwards making sonic booms from the speed.

I crash into one of the few remaining columns and get up while spitting out some of my golden blood.

I get into a spear throwing position and then gather all my strength into my body while adding in my full Earthshaker powers.

And then I throw.

My trident breaks the sound barrier as soon as it leaves my hand. Continuous sonic booms ring out as it continues moving towards Hyperion while the air in front of it explodes from the speed.

The wind from the throw blows away a lot of the land and any of the remaining walls behind me and I formed a huge eighty foot crater below me from it.

Even the ground below the trident isn't safe as it gets dug up from the ground by the wind from the trident's speed.

The trident hits Hyperion's battle ax and makes a huge dent, deforming it out of shape, but I'm not done.

I infuse my Earthshaker power into my legs and jump. Expanding the crater already below my to four hundred feet.

I shoot like a star towards him and then flip myself side ways with my legs facing towards him all while in the air.

Once I reach him I thrust both my legs out in a kick. His golden armor completely deforms and warps from the blow, and a shock wave spreads out from the hit.

Hyperion spits blood and goes flying backwards, making sonic booms as he does.

I pick up my trident and then sprint towards him, my form blurring as I run.

As soon as I reach him he swings his deformed ax at me, grazing my cheek slightly.

I spin around him and counterattack with a thrust from my trident and catch him in the side.

He roars in pain and then sends a blast of light to burn me.

I quickly contort my body to the side, not daring to turn my body into water incase that light could evaporate me from the heat.

My side gets burned a little but nothing too much.

I take a step back and then use DOMAIN, my area turns into a temporary sea and I'm completely healed.

I use the water to bind and trap Hyperion while also using it to hold his arms up so that he can't send concentrated blasts of light at the water.

Then a ray of light escapes from his eyes heading straight towards my head.

I pull myself down extremely fast with my sea to dodge it and then use my water to push his head up so that his eyes are facing the sky.

I then sprint over and knock him out with my trident and go to help Hera out. Though not before locking Hyperion in place with my left over water just incase he wakes up.

I sneak up behind Iapetus and thrust my trident towards his head.

He somehow managed to dodge my thrust but this distraction gave Hera the chance to stab her golden sword into Iapetus's stomach and through his spine. Temporarily locking off his movement.

I knock Iapetus out and then trap him in my water with Hyperion.

I then run to help Hestia but Hera wants me to go to Zeus who is still struggling. As we're running we see that both Hades and Demeter have finished their fights. Only Hestia and Zeus remain.

Hera and Demeter go to help Hestia and Hades and I join Zeus in taking down Kronos.

All Zeus's lightning bolts are frozen in the air, only Zeus himself can move, although very slowly.

Since I knew that Zeus had an ace up his sleeve I went to go and help those who needed more help, not because of spite.

Just when we arrive is when Zeus starts using it and we follow suit with the plan.

The special move that he had told me that he would use to beat Kronos during the fight, the move that Hades, Zeus and I developed together after he apologized to me for his boasting and cockiness right before the war.

The move that transcends Kronos's control over time that only Zeus, Hades and I know how to use.

Zeus explodes with an aura of lightning and thunder that breaks and crumbles the ground around him.

Hades explodes with an aura of death and destruction that vaporizes the ground around him.

I explode with an aura of stormy seas and earthquakes that rumbles and warps the ground around me.

We all start pour out our divinity not into the area around us, but into ourselves.

Everything around us warps and breaks as we flood our divinity into our cells.

Zeus's eyes glow bright white, Hades's a glowing black, and my own a beautiful cyan.

And then we move.

As we move everything thing around us freezes, or at least seems to freeze, but we are just moving so fast that they seem to stop.

We arrive before Kronos in a flash and I stab at the side of his stomach, Zeus stabs his lightning bolt at his head, and Hades at his back.

Once we stop moving an extremely loud boom goes of.

Everything around us gets blown backwards by the force and a massive forty mile crater forms.

Kronos's body falls limply on the ground and my brothers and I sit down breathing, sweating, and cramping extremely hard.

The toll that move takes on us is huge. I can barely feel any part of my body, but I force myself to move while gritting my teeth in pain.

Zeus and Hades force themselves up to, both as tired and weary as I am.

We basically just forced out bodies into overdrive, forcing them to do something they aren't supposed to be capable of yet.

Hera, Demeter, and Hestia rush over to help us.

Demeter helps hold me up, Hestia to Hades, and Hera to Zeus with stars in her eyes.

I then use my little remaining strength to move Kronos and Coeus to where I trapped the others.

"You should probaly tie them up", I say weakly.

Then I promptly pass out.
