13 Ch.13 Crepe
"Can I help you sir?" The waitress asked with a smile on her face while observing the couple in front of her.
"Oh we would like to place our orders, also is there anything special today?" Oga decided to know if there was anything special today before ordering his food as he didn't want to miss out on something good.
Removing her curious gaze from the masked girl, she decided to answer the guy with a little bit of fear due to his appearance which resembles most delinquents.
"Oh we have a special discount on a couple drinks today and chocolate pastry, it looks like that." She said while trying to maintain her smile as she pointed towards the table next to them, where a large glass was placed between a couple with two straws in it.
'Ugh, I also want to try it.' She grumbled inwardly as even though she got a boyfriend recently, he didn't try anything like that and they haven't even kissed yet.
Oga looked towards where she was pointing and was a little bit surprised that something like that existed, but before deciding anything he looked towards Chifuyu to see how she reacted to it.
"Eh!" Chifuyu let out a small yelp when she looked towards the couple drinks, and then looked down while her ear started to get red from shame.
"Hmm! We will pass on that today. Can we have one slice of blueberry cheesecake and chocolate pastry?"
"Oh okay!" She was a little surprised by them not ordering that but by looking at the girl, she could understand why so she didn't try to press them to buy it.
"And what would you guys like for drinks?"
"Hmm, have you decided what you want, Chifuyu?" He decided to ask her first to alleviate her of that strange she was in right now.
"Uh- that- Iced Cho-Chocolate Mocha." She said while stuttering while still lowering her head.
"Oh, make it two of them then." While a little surprised by her actions, he decided to order that for both of them as it sounded pretty interesting to him.
"Hmm, and is there anything else you like to order?" Ayano was also surprised by her behaviour but decided to chalk it to her probably having an introverted nature.
'But a pretty interesting combo though.' She couldn't help but chuckle at the couple in front of her as she would love to hear their love story.
"Oh that's enough for now, and how long would it take?" He noticed that the shop was pretty crowded so he was a little worried as Chifuyu's behaviour was pretty strange since earlier.
"Oh just 5 minutes, then I will be back with your order in a bit." She saluted with a smile and trotted towards the counter.
Removing his gaze from her, he focused back towards Chifuyu who was still looking at the ground and asked in a soft tone, "Did something happen?"
"That- I- am…" Trying to formulate the words she wanted to say, she kept stuttering when reaching the main point and wasn't able to continue at all.
"It's okay, try taking some deep breaths and say at your own pace as I got all day for my girlfriend." He said with a worried grin as he wanted her to not overburden herself while also not trying to break this character of his.
She put her hands on her chest which couldn't help but draw his eyes towards her big breasts and before she could notice, he immediately started looking towards the counter.
While looking at the various stuff on the counter, he could hear her taking some deep breaths and after it finally ended, he faced her to see her looking at him intently.
"That… I am not that good with crowds and being with you…" She clutched her skirt as this situation kept making her more and more anxious.
Even though she didn't finish her words, he could understand her feelings which made him feel kind of bad as he didn't know what to do in this situation.
'But I can't leave her alone like this.' He thought as he looked into her eyes, which looked lifeless since ordering and it kept worrying him.
As he thought about what to do, he suddenly noticed something on the counter and realised one thing he could do.
"Do you like crepes?" He asked looking back at her to which she nodded while looking kind of confused by that question.
"That's great then, let's go." He stood up from his seat and held out his hand for her to stand up.
"It's alright." She rejected his hands, as she stood up herself which made him leak out a bitter smile.
Shaking his head, he started walking towards the counter while she was following behind him with a curious gaze.
"Oh is something wrong sir?" Ayano was preparing the mocha when the customers, she took the orders from suddenly appeared at the counter and it couldn't help but make her worried.
"Ah, nothing is wrong. I just wanted to make some changes to the order." He said waving his hand with a smile to alleviate her worries.
"Oh that's okay, what do you need to change?" Realising it was nothing big, she smiled looking towards him while preparing the mocha at the same time.
"Can you pack those pastries that I ordered and add crepes to eat our order too."
"Hmm, I will do that. But what kind of flavour would you like?"
"Chifuyu, what would you like to get?" Instead of answering the question, he decided to ask the question to Chifuyu as he wanted to get what she liked.
"Th-this one." She said while pointing towards the peanut butter cup flavour on the counter.
"Make two of them then, and can you deliver it outside as my girlfriend is not that good with crowds?" He asked with a smile as he could still see Chifuyu trembling a bit.
"Hmm." She just nodded her head with a smile, as they turned around and started to walk outside the shop.
"They are a pretty cute couple." She couldn't help but mutter as she looked at their back while also feeling a little jealous due to their nature of relationship.
