24- Hinata's Birthday Part-2

Konoha...

Hyuga compound...

Currently, the whole village, hidden in the leaves, has become the village hidden in the snow due to the heavy snowfall last night.

Though the entire village is covered by snow, some of the compounds of the great clans have been cleaned by now.

One of them is the Hyuga clan, and currently, in one of the main branch houses of this clan, two youngsters are practicing with each other.

Hiashi and Hizashi are standing at the corner of the room with other members of the clan, watching the sparring between the two children.

"Hizashi's son is very talented," the elder one said, looking at the kids.

"Yes, his improvement is quite remarkable at that age," Elder 2 said, nodding.

"He is a genius at Gentle Fist Arts," Elder 3 added.

"He will be a big asset for the clan when he grows up," Elder 4 agreed with the others.

At their side, two brothers were also talking to each other.

"He has gone ahead of you, brother," Hiashi said with a smile.

"No, he has much to learn," Hizashi said with a sigh and added, "Besides, he needs to protect Lady Hinata."

After finishing the practice match, Hinata looked at Neji and said with a smile, "Big Brother Neji, you are very strong."

Naruto suddenly caught a cold after staying outside too late in the cold.

"Hey, Kirito, nobody came today to play, huh?" Naruto said while still lying on the bed.

"Yes, they might have gone to the Hyuuga princess's birthday," Kirito replied with a sad sigh as none of them was invited to the party.

"They might be eating good food, right? You know I also wanted to go as well," Naruto said with a sad sigh like Kirito.

"Don't feel sad; we will have our birthday even better," Kirito said with a smile.

"Stop lying; we don't have enough money for that," Naruto also smiled at his brother.

"Don't you believe me?" Kirito said with a challenging tone.

"If we really have much money, why don't you buy some ramen for me?" Naruto said mockingly.

"Are you sure you will be able to eat if I buy ramen now? After all, you weren't able to eat anything all day long," Kirito asked with a serious tone.

"If you really buy ramen, I will eat it all and get better," Naruto said confidently.

"Fine, you stay home. I will go and buy, then return very soon," Kirito said and went out to buy ramen but didn't forget to leave a shadow clone with Naruto.

While going to the ramen shop, he also thought of visiting Saito-sensei to ask him for medicine for Naruto's cold.

Just when Kirito made a shadow clone, he saw a shinobi from Kumogakure running very fast from one roof to another while carrying a bag on his back.

From the face of that Kumo shinobi, Kirito understood that he had done something bad and was running away.

"Change of plan, go inform Sensei; I will follow behind him," Kirito said and followed behind the Kumo shinobi.

When Kirito followed behind the jumping shinobi, his clone also went towards Saito's apartment quickly.

After running for a long time, the Kumo shinobi, who is only a Chunin rank, got tired because he was also carrying Hinata on his back.

So he started moving slowly and buying time for his team to catch up to him when he felt someone was following behind him.

"I don't know who you are, but it would be wise for you to get out before I get angry," the Kumo shinobi said with a cold voice.

Without responding to his cold words, Kirito threw a Kunai and pierced the Kumo shinobi's hand.

Suddenly, getting attacked early, the Kumo shinobi got startled, and the bag in which Hinata was in fell on the ground, and he shouted, "You coward, bastard, get out right now."

Though Kirito got angered because of that curse, still he decided not to go out and face him directly because he wasn't too sure until he saw a little girl getting out of the bag.

Hinata, who was knocked out, woke up when the Kumo shinobi got his hand pierced by Kirito's kunai, and the bag fell on the ground.

"Where am I?" Hinata asked, getting scared upon finding herself in the forest in the middle of the forest when she saw a man looking at her with an evil smile.

"Come out, or I will kill this little girl," the Kumo shinobi said as he took a Kunai in his hand from his bag.

When Hinata heard that the man with that smile is going to kill her, she got scared and wanted to run away from here but found she could not run nor shout for some reason.

'As I thought, something was moving inside that bag earlier, and I wasn't imagining things,' Kirito thought to himself, 'but more importantly, who is that little girl.'

"As you are not getting out, I will take it you don't care about her. So I will just kill this little girl," the Kumo shinobi said as he raised his Kunai and added,

"Oh right, before I kill her, I will tell you one important thing: if you are a Konoha shinobi, she is the Hyuuga clan little princess."

'Please don't kill me...' Hinata tried to say this, but to her disappointment, no words came out of her mouth, just water came out from her eyes as death came in front of her eyes, and she closed her eyes.

When the Kunai started falling, Kirito knew he had no time to hesitate because if he does, an innocent life will be lost. So he moved from his spot while thinking, 'Damn, I have no other choice, hope Sensei catches up soon...'

(Dong!!!) Instead of the pain of death that she was expecting, only the sound of metal colliding was heard by little Hinata.

As she opened her eyes to see what happened, she found out that a little boy who is not much older than herself is standing in front of her, stopping the Kunai that was about to kill her with a Kunai...

"A kid!!!"
