Chapter 039- Feng Xue'er

"Ok then. I will give you six days to decide." Ling Yun said.

'Gu Xian should be able to return with Feng Xue'er within five days. As long as I can somehow make her agree to marry me, Feng Hengkong would have no choice but to agree as well.' Feng Hengkong thought.

"Then I will take my leave." Gu Xian respectfully said before taking his leave. Even though Xiao Lingxi's position is lower than him now, Gu Xian didn't dare to be disrespectful towards her.

As a man, he knows full well that Xiao Lingxi is going to be a woman of Ling Yun someday in the future. So, it's better to not be arrogant in front her least she gets offended and tries to take revenge on him in future.

After Gu Xian left, Xiao Lingxi looked at Feng Xue'er and found her somewhat nervous. So, she came close to her and took her hands in her hands while saying with a sweet smile, "You should be one year older than me. Can I call you sister Xue'er?"

Seeing the cheerful face of the girl in front of her, Feng Xue'er let go some of her nervousness as she smiled as well and replied, "Yes, please do call me. Can I get your name as well?"

"My name is Xiao Lingxi. I am Master Ling's personal maid. You can simply call me Lingxi." Xiao Lingxi said without breaking her cheerful appearance.

"Oh! So you are his personal maid. C-Can you tell me about him?" Feng Xue'er asked with some nervousness while hoping that the person she is going to meet would be a good one.
