Chapter 037- Kidnapping

After half a month of journey, Xia Yuanba finally reached the Divine Phoenix Empire with his troops. After keeping the troops in a hidden place, he went to meet up with Gu Xian.

After meeting up, they discussed the whole plan again in order not to mess it up. After that, Gu Xian along with Xia Yuanba secretly entered the mountain range where Feng Xue'er resides.

Although there were many formations surrounding this place, it didn't pose any challenge to them as Gu Xian already contacted some inside person to let them in without any disturbance.

As they reached deeper in the small mountain range, they finally found the 15 years old princess sitting on the grass while humming something.

When they reached close to her, Feng Xue'er finally noticed their presence as she abruptly stood up from her sitting position and asked in a panicked manner, "Who are you guys?"

"We are sent by your majesty, princess Xue'er." Gu Xian said while slightly bowing to her.

"No, You must be lying. Father would never allow someone else beside him to come here." Feng Xue'er said as she knows full well how protective her father was for her. From her childhood, she has never been allowed to meet other people, not even her own brothers.

"Sigh! It seems that you are not as naive as I thought you were." Gu Xian didn't look much upset as she saw through them. After all, it would have been ridiculous if she really did believe the words of a stranger.

"You are correct. We are not you Father's men. Instead we are opposed to him. Let me introduce myself, I am the leader of the group of rebel that has recently been at war with your father." Gu Xian spoke.

"So you are that evil man that father talked about. If you don't go away from this place right away, then I will call my father." Feng Xue'er said. Even though she could just call her father right away using the method Feng Hengkong left behind but out of her kindness she decided to give these people a chance to escape.

"Hoh ho...You think that we are evil but your father isn't. Then what do you say about these?" Gu Xian said as he presented a stack of documents listing the crimes committed by Feng Hengkong.

As Feng Xue'er read those documents, her heart started to crumble little by little as she felled into tears. Even though she wanted to deny those accusations against his father but she can't find any logic to contradict those evidences prepared by Gu Xian.

Maybe if she hasn't been so sheltered from early age, she wouldn't have been so devastated after knowing that her father isn't what she used to think. She might even be able come up with some reasoning to dispel these negative thoughts.

But for a sheltered and pure girl like her, it was a deep blow that she would never be able to overcome in a short period of time.

"W-why are you showing these to me?" Feng Xue'er asked in sobbing voice.

"Of course, it's to reach a co-operation with you. You see the war that we are in right now is causing a lot of causalities for both parties. There are even a lot of innocent people getting caught up in this." Gu Xian said.

"As long as you co-operate with us, we have a way to not only stop the war but also get your father in the right path. So What do you say?" Gu Xian said in a tempting voice. He already knew that Feng Xue'er has a righteous heart. As long as she believes that doing something would lead to good result, she wouldn't mind even standing opposite to Divine Phoenix Sect.

"Ok. I will co-operate with you. But you have to promise me that you will really do as you said." Feng Xue'er said in a determined voice.

'Sorry, Father. I know that you will be upset at my decision. But I have to do what is right!' Feng Xue'er thought in her heart.

"Then go with me. As for what you have to do, we will let you know after reaching our destination." Gu Xian said as he summoned his flying profound beast and left with Feng Xue'er toward the direction of the 'Nirvik Empire'.
