Chapter 030- Purple Veined Divine Crystal

Ling Yun has now called Xia Qingyue in his office as he has something to discuss with her.

"Qingyue, did you manage to get the information I need?" Ling Yun asked.

"Yes. Here is the list. I have included everything about the empires including their military capabilities and some of the weaknesses that I have found." Xia Qingyue said as she took out a file containing 100 of pages and put in in the table in front of Ling Yun.

As Ling Yun looked at the the amount of papers, he thought out loud, "Sigh! It is going to take a lot of time to go over these."

"Qingyue, you can take a rest here until I finish checking out the intelligences that you have brought." After saying that Ling Yun opened the file started to go over the pages one by one carefully without missing any details.

It took him a few hours to finish reading all these papers.

"It looks like we don't need worry much about the other empires except for the Divine Phoenix Empire."

"Though one fact you got wrong about the Divine Phoenix Empire, Qingyue. The Divine Phoenix in their empire should be dead by now. So, as long as I sent my best troops in the empire it shouldn't be a problem for them to conquer it either."

"Are you sure about Divine Phoenix's death?" Even though Xia Qingyue heard some rumors, it is hard for her to believe a legendary creature like her would die.

"Yes, I'm sure." Ling Yun simply stated not intending to elaborate on that topic. After all, how could he explain to her that he got that knowledge from a novel.

"If you say so. Anyway, why are you even bothering to even send troops there? You can save a lot of time if you do that yourself." Xia Qingyue inquired in a confused voice.

"I know but I don't want to reveal myself yet. If the sacred grounds know about my strength, they will surely launch an attack. Even though I can hold back all the top powerhouses of the sacred grounds even kill them off if given enough time, the number of middle and lower and lower level powerhouses that they have are lot compared to ours." Ling Yun replied.

"So, by the time I manage to kill them off, we will have a lot of casualties. So, I don't to go to war with them until we manage to produce enough troops to hold them off and lower our casualties." Ling Yun added.

"So should I hide my strength as well?"Xia Qingyue asked. At the time she warned the Feng Hengkong, she did hide her appearance. So the only thing that Feng Hengkong knew is that the attacker was a woman who came from 'Nirvik Empire'.

"No, you don't need to. If need arises, you can use your sovereign profound realm strength but make sure to be in a disguise and use only early level of strength if not needed. Even though, it would make the sacred grounds wary as well, they wouldn't directly attack us as the early or mid stage of sovereign profound realm is just a big ant in their eyes."

Even though Ling Yun decided to hide his strength, he wouldn't care about the casualties if the sacred grounds try to be arrogant against him and his people.

"Anyway, for the war, I already have some plans after reading the intelligence that you brought but we can discuss that after I finish my marriage." When Ling Yun brought the word marriage, a jealous expression flashed in Xia Qingyue's eyes.

But Ling Yun decide to ignore that as he added, "I have another important matter to discuss with you as well and it is regarding the floating cloud city."

Hearing the name of her birth town, Xia Qingyue's expression became serious as she asked in a worried tone, "What is it?"

"It's like this. Last time when I went there, I found a crystal mine. But as the empire wasn't in my control and there was a chance of information being leaked, I didn't mine those Purple Veined Divine Crystals." Ling Yun said.

"From my estimation, there should be at least 50 kilograms of purple Veined Divine Crystal there. I will leave the work of mining to your 'Shadow'." Xia Qingyue sucked a cold breath of air after she heard the amount of crystals just sitting there for taking.

Not to mention, it is near the house she used to live in. So, she couldn't be more shocked at this news. After regaining her composure, she said to Ling Yun, "Leave it to me. I will mine all the crystals there without letting anyone know."

Since she knows the importance of the crystals, she plans to go there herself to preside over the matter and not let any mishaps happen.
