Chapter 027- Conditions

Next Morning-

As planned, Ling yun reached the Frozen Cloud Asgard to discuss with their palace mistress. The seven fairies were already waiting for him at the gate.

After seeing him, they greeted him respectfully and took him inside the main hall where the current place mistress and previous palace mistress were sitting and waiting for him.

Even though many females here in the Frozen Cloud Asgard doesn't like the presence of a male, nobody dared to bother him nor anything cliche like being disrespected happened on his way to the main hall.

After entering the main hall, he sat down in the chair prepared for him. After getting comfortable and exchanging some pleasantries, he went for the main topic and said, "You might have already guessed my intention for coming here. But I will voice it out just so that we can be clear."

"I am planning to close down all the sects in my Empire. There is going to be only one sect and that is 'Imperial Cultivation Center'. You might have already heard the news of the destruction of Xiao Sect and Burning Heaven Clan. As for my 'Heavenly Sword Villa', I have already ordered it to be shut down and incorporate the disciples in 'Imperial Cultivation Center'."

"Among the major cultivation sects, you are the only one that is left. Now there is three options for you guys. First one is dissolving your sect and letting all your disciples go on their own way. Second one is becoming part of the 'Imperial Cultivation Center'. And if the first two doesn't satisfy you, then the only remaining option is destruction." Ling yun calmly stated as he looked at the expressions of the beauties present in the main hall.

All of them except the two palace mistresses were barely controlling their anger. Some of them even letting out their profound aura as they are barely suppressing themselves from letting out an attack.

Seeing this, Ling yun didn't even flinch as he added another sentence, "Before you make your decision, I must say that you will have to agree to some of my condition even if you choose one of the first two option. Now tell me, What is your choice?"

After Ling yun posed that question, the two palace mistresses discussed a while before the previous palace mistress Gong Yuxian looked at Ling Yun and answered, "Can your majesty please inform us the conditions before we make our decision?"

Heaing Gong Yuxian's question, Ling yun already understood that they are not going to choose the path of destruction and might possibly join his newly created sect. So, Ling yun gave out a meaningful smile towards them and said, "You will have to make a choice first as the conditions that I will be putting forth will depend on your choice mainly."

"Then, we choose to be part of the 'Imperial Cultivation Center'." Ling yun became quite relieved after hearing Gong Yuxian's decision. If they really chose the path of the destruction, it would have caused Ling yun some heartache to kill them all off.

"Good choice. You will not regret the choice that you made toady. But before you join the Imperial Cultivation Center, you will have to agree to my conditions."

"Number One, You are not allowed to address yourself as a part of Frozen Cloud Asgard anymore."

"Number Two, You are not allowed to practice frozen heart art anymore nor can you abide by the rules placed by frozen cloud asgard from now on."

"Number three, You all will have to swear to be loyal to my rule and never betray this empire."

"Number fourth and the last condition is to let me marry one of the member of your sect as a sign of your total surrender to me."

Nobody in the room was happy after hearing the conditions. But what could they do? As the weaker party, they could only agree even if Ling yun put forth more harsher conditions.

Gong Yuxian looked very sad as she stated, "We agree to all of your conditions."

"I am happy at your quick decision to agree to my conditions. As a reward, I will allow you to make one request." Ling yun smiled as he delivered his words in a majestic voice.

"Thank you for your kindness, your majesty. But can I ask for some time before making my request?"

"OK. I will give you few hours for you to consider. Meanwhile, let me choose who is going to be my wife." Ling yun stated as he looked at all the women present in the main hall carefully.

After a few minutes of examination, Ling yun's eyes stopped at Chu Yuechan and said to her, "I have decided. You are going to be my wife. Do you have any objection to that?"

Hearing Ling yun's declaration, Chu Yuechan's expression didn't change much as she already expected something like this happening when Ling yun said that he is going to choose a wife among them.

After all, she is the most beautiful female in the whole empire. If Ling Yun chooses anyone besides her then there is really something wrong with his eyes.

Even though Chu Yuechan didn't want to agree to Ling Yun's proposal but she compromised after thinking all the consequences they will have to face if she rejects to marry him.

"Since we are going to be couple soon, then let's get to know each other while your sect mistresses discuss what kind of request they will make of me." Ling Yun stood up and left the main hall as Chu Yuechan followed him.

After coming to the garden of the sect, Ling yun sat down in the grass as he told Chu Yuechan to sit beside him.

Even though there was some hesitation in her eyes, she complied with Ling yun and sat down beside him. Though she kept some gapes between them while sitting down, Ling Yun didn't mind as this should be first time for Chu Yuechan to let a man near her.

"I know you aren't satisfied with this marriage. But life is like that. Things wouldn't always go the way you want them to be. Since I am going to be your husband in the near future, I will allow you ask any questions no matter how offensive they might be. So if you have any question for me, you can ask away." LIng yun stated.

Chu Yuechan took a deep breath as she asked, "Can you tell me why you are forcing me to marry you? You should know that I will never be able to be a proper wife for you."

"First, force is the wrong word you are using. I did gave you and your sect some choices. So the exchange of interest would be the correct word here. Not to mention, you and your sect will be getting much more benefits than me in this exchange." Ling Yun answered

"As for you being a proper wife to me, I don't need you to be one nor I will ever force you to have sex with me. Because, I myself hate those who force themselves on women. I wouldn't deny your appearance was one of the reasons for proposing this marriage but that is not the only one." Ling Yun added.

"The main reason for this marriage is to tie yourself with me. I see the potential that you have. At such a young age, you have managed to reach your current strength with a faulty cultivation art in a place where profound energy is very thin and diluted." Ling Yun elaborated.

"So, I have no doubt that you will be able to reach the peak of this cosmos with proper guidance and sufficient resources. And I am the only one in this planet who will be able to give you both but the condition is that you will have to be loyal to me as a proper wife or as a subordinate. You can decide it yourself." Ling yun voiced out his intention as he waited for the other party's response.
