If you're asking why are we heading to the kingdom of the elfs, it's to gather information and study magic according to Ruby she can now try to break the curse but that would be dangerous, we should gather as much knowledge as possible before trying, which is why we decided to travel all over the continent and gather as much magical knowledge as possible.

Which is why we're headed to the closest kingdom in our location the elf kingdom named Palaios.
