Everyone made it safely to the Motor Inn at night without losing anyone. Lee felt relieved that they had escaped the walkers.

Currently, everyone is taking a break in the Motor Inn. Lee had an idea to utilize the parked cars and trash bins to obstruct the entrance of the Motor Inn. They moved all the cars inside, and using the lightweight trash bins, they can remove the cars whenever necessary.

"Lee, Are you alright"

Alexis, Clementine, Sandra, and Iris approached him out of concern. To them, he was the one who took the most risk in the situation and successfully ensured everyone's safety.

"I'm Fine, Thanks for asking"

Lee greeted them with a warm smile, which made their worries disappear.

*radio sound*

Glenn was listening to the radio, which was discussing the situation in Atlanta. Lee walked over to him and joined in listening.

Glenn and Lee exchanged a glance before he looked up at the sky. He then proceeded to talk about traveling to Atlanta in search of his friends.

"Glenn, I was thinking that it might be a good idea to wait a little while and focus on making the Motor Inn a stable place for everyone before we leave. I believe that if we work together, we can create an environment that is safe and comfortable for everyone. Once we have achieved that goal, we can start thinking about our next steps. What do you think about this plan?"

"But my friend-- Wait 'We?' You plan to come with me?"

Everyone who was minding their own business stopped what they were doing and turned to look at the two individuals, who were now the center of attention.

With a gentle touch, Lee placed his hands on Carl and Iris' heads and began speaking to them. His words filled them with a sense of warmth and comfort as if they were wrapped in a cozy blanket on a cold winter's night. They listened intently, feeling their worries fade away with each passing moment. Lee's voice was like a beacon of hope, guiding them toward a brighter future.

"I stumbled upon these two kids in a car while trying to flee Atlanta and I'm taking charge. I won't rest until I find their family and reunite them. The family must be worried sick, and I can't imagine how the kids feel. I will ensure their safety along the way. Carl and Iris Will you come with me to find your parents?"

Lee encountered these kids by chance and was unwilling to let them stay separated from their parents. Having experienced the pain of being without a family, he was determined not to let these innocent children suffer the same fate. Despite feeling afraid since his survival was already a challenge, he was still willing to take the risk and help these kids.

The kids smiled and hugged Lee as they wanted to speak about this for a long time but couldn't since they were scared of being abandoned, They just tried their best to look useful, They started to understand this new world and chose to adapt quickly

"I'll go as well"

Clementine, Sandra, Alexis, Doug, and Carly all spoke up to let Lee know that they had his back. Shawn, who also wanted to help, looked at his sisters and decided not to make a harsh decision. Kenny and his family also chose not to participate, as they did not want to put their families at risk. Lee understood and respected their choices. However, Lee was pleasantly surprised when Doug and Carly stood up for him so soon.

"Thanks for standing up for me, But I plan on going with only Glenn, Carl, and Iris"

"But-"

Alexis intended to argue, but Lee interrupted her as soon as she began to speak.

"Let's fortify this place first and make it safe from walkers, then we can talk later."

Glenn was willing to wait for a bit, so they got down to business. They came up with a plan to use two Trash Car bins to create a gate, and now they're considering using a non-functional car as a wall.

Lee spotted a car that was a bit far from the Motor Inn and decided to inspect it. Thanks to his [Sensory Enhancement] skill, he was able to see in the dark without any difficulty. While walking towards the car, he thought of checking his System, since he had completed the Quest assigned to him and received some mysterious rewards. He opened the System to see what he had earned.

Lee added 7 points in Agility, Then he proceeded to add 3 points in Strength but only 2 points got registered
