3 Level Up System

-In a forested park in a certain city -

*Third Person POV*

A small figure stood ten meters away facing a tree while holding a curved tree branch. If one looked closely, they would be able to see a thin line connecting the two ends of the branch, giving it the appearance of a crudely made bow.

'Okay. Third time's the charm.' The small figure thought to herself as she picked up one of the pointy sticks from the ground which looked like a crudely made arrow.

The small figure took a stance, placing the arrow in the middle of the bow, her aura changing from the earlier hopeful anticipation to one of pure concentration.

'Hooo.' She took a deep breath and exerted all her strength to slowly pull the knocked arrow on the bow string back. The bow made creaking noises like it was about to snap at any moment. But miraculously, it held on until it was fully drawn.

Seeing this, the figure who was holding the bow was inwardly elated. While slightly struggling to keep the bow fully drawn, she took one final moment to aim while waiting for something to happen. She was a bit disappointed seeing that there was nothing happening. Regardless, she maintained her focus before she loosened her grip of the arrow.

'Haah.' She exhaled right as she finally released the arrow.

*Whoosh* *KRRCK* *Thud*

The arrow flew through the air neither too fast nor too slow and accurately hit the tree dead center.

"AH! MY R3 AMOS BOW!"

Unfortunately, the crudely made bow broke apart after firing the arrow causing the figure some heartache. This was the third bow that she had personally created after watching some Do-It-Yourself videos online and secretly gathering the materials from a nearby forest. Learning from her past creations, this one had taken her nearly two weeks to "perfect" and was her best creation yet. Sadly, it wasn't enough as it did not survive its first test run.

"Uuuu… At least it was able to shoot…" She said to herself to relieve her heartache after losing two weeks' worth of effort. Her previous bows did not reach the testing phase and had snapped while trying to attach the string.

"Haaa. Back to the drawing board." She said while picking up the arrows, string, tools, and other materials she had brought and put it in her bag.

She walked over to the tree with the shot arrow to retrieve it. It took her some effort to create these arrows as well so she did not want to waste a single one.

When she got to the tree, she observed the arrow. It had penetrated around two centimeters into the tree which shows that the bow and arrow she had made packed quite the punch making her proud.

But more importantly, she saw that the arrow had pierced through a squirming insect before getting lodged in the tree.

'Looks like I got Fischl's marksmanship alright. Heh.' The girl thought.

That's right, the small figure shooting arrows is the soul that reincarnated.

It has been four years since his encounter with Dio, the Video Game God.

When he first regained his senses after the reincarnation, he had found himself in the arms of a woman wearing a hospital gown. She had short, dark blonde hair with some black striped bangs and emerald colored eyes. Instantly, he knew that the woman could only be his mother.

Honestly, he did not expect that he would start his second life as a baby. He thought that he would start out at the age of the characters that he had gotten for his [3 Character Team]. He also did not expect that he would start out as the first character he got, Fischl. If he knew, he would have chosen to choose a character first instead of gacha. Because, despite being male in his previous life, he was now a little girl.

A little girl who looks just like how Fischl would probably have looked when she was 4 years-old. She had short blonde hair that reached her shoulders, same color as her mother's, tied into two small pigtails on the side of her head. She had resisted her hair being done this way because she thought that it was "unmanly." A habit from his/her previous life. But her mother had insisted since it made her look "cuter" and so this was now her default hairstyle. Coincidentally, this hairstyle also resembled the original appearance of Fischl.

She was wearing a t-shirt with some female character in costume printed on it and denim shorts. Her mother tried to make her wear a skirt which was where she drew the line and absolutely refused. She wanted to retain some of her dignity as a man from her previous life, no matter how little or useless it now is.

The little girl pulled the arrow from the tree with the insect still attached. Being able to accurately hit a small insect with a homemade bow and arrow despite only being 4 years-old is a feat only obtainable thanks to the karma she earned in her previous life and Dio. Although she didn't believe in Gods before, now she was a believer.

'Good luck avoiding the Death Gods. Try not to be reborn as an insect again. Now, please give me a lot of exp!' She prayed inside her head as she took the insect off the arrow and put it on the ground before promptly crushing it with her little shoe.

'Ew. Bug guts.' She subconsciously thought.

[Level Up!]

The [Level Up System] which she had gotten after reincarnating sent a notification in her head.

"Yes! Finally, level 3! Thank you, Dio-sama!"

She felt a burst of euphoria when she leveled up and immediately opened the system in her mind. She had had this system since birth but it took her four years to get to level 3. She was crawling and learning to walk for most of those years like a normal baby so naturally it took her this long to reach that level. In fact, she was in this forested park crafting bows and arrows so that she can increase her leveling up speed.

The [Level Up System] in her mind has a black and white menu similar to the Arsenal in [Warframe]. In the original Arsenal, the menu options were Warframe, Primary, Secondary, Melee, and Companion. But in this system, the only menu options are Character, Skill, and Vision. Additionally, at the top there is a certain message that annoyed the girl every time she opened this system. It read:

[This Level Up System has been sponsored by the Video Game God, Dio. Check out his channel here: (link) or come and chat on his chat group here: (link).]

Obviously, the links were not clickable.

'This shameless God left a useless plug in the system that is permanently stuck in my head… just great.'

Currently, the Skill and Vision options were locked. Only Character was available and Fischl was equipped with a number [3] next to the name indicating the level and a now empty experience bar below the character.

The girl thought about clicking on the Fischl character and more options appeared which were Change, Status, and Modify. She clicked Status and the menu changed.

Character: Fischl

Name: Kirari Kaminari

Age: 4

Level: 3/30

Health: 100/100 – Regen: 1 per hour

Energy: 100/100 – Regen: 1 per minute

Physical: 3

Mental: 7 (+2)

State: Healthy

The Status menu was simple and mostly self-explanatory, as if whoever wrote it couldn't be bothered to write up more details.

A 3D model of Fischl, or now called Kirari in this world, appeared beside her stats. It was mostly colored green meaning that she was in tip-top shape. There was a hint of yellow on her hands which meant that there were slight injuries probably coming from shooting and breaking her bow earlier, not to mention the countless cuts she got while constructing the damn thing.

She noticed that her Mental, which was 6 before the level up, had increased meaning that she now had a total of 9 Mental. An average adult in this world had 10 Physical and 10 Mental. This means that her thinking, memorizing, and processing abilities are almost on par to an adult. Her Physical was quite low but that should be normal considering that she was still a child.

Kirari closed the Status menu and moved to the Modify option. In [Warframe], you had to do missions, purchase, loot, or kill enemies in order to get mods that you can apply to your various Warframes and equipment. But in this system, the mods were all listed in the Modify menu and you only needed to add points to apply them. The first change after a level up can be applied immediately but any subsequent changes will only take effect on the next day. It's to prevent abuse I guess.

The points are obtained by leveling up. Fischl currently had 1 out of 3 points available.

There weren't a lot of mods available for only 3 points. Most were the ones that improved her stats. However, there are mods that gave other benefits such as:

Enhanced Metabolism: Can eat whatever you want and never get fat. (3)

Although tempting, in the end she added the available point to her previous option.

Mental Increase by 2 -> 3 (3/10)

After weeks of testing, she found that having higher Mental made her something akin to a genius. Although, her previous life experience also helped greatly with this. Increasing Mental improves her learning ability which greatly helped her in learning the language of the country she is in, Japan. It also improved her Energy Regen, even though she didn't really use Energy for anything. With those reasons, she decided to min-max while focusing on Mental. There was a mod that increased her Mental by a small percentage but since her base Mental stat was low, increasing by a flat amount is currently the better option.

After finalizing her changes, she now had a total of 10 Mental making her mind the same as that of an average adult. Lastly, she moved from the Modify option to the Change option.

'Haaa. Xingqui and my third character are still locked. Do I need to reach max level 30 on Fischl before I unlock them? It will take fooooreeverrrrr ugh.'

In four years, the only method that Kirari found to increase levels was by killing living things. Her system was from [Warframe] and that game was basically a hack 'n' slash, shoot 'em up game where you need to commit genocide in every mission. Killing to level up on her system was normal.

When she discovered this, she immediately went on a hunting spree, killing every living being that she could that was morally acceptable. This included every spider, ant, fly, and even cockroach that she found in her home. Unfortunately, the experience points (EXP) that she got from killing small insects was just as small as the insect. Even more unfortunately, killing plants did not give any EXP. She has yet to kill anything else besides insects which resulted in the level up maniac to only reach level 3 much to her disappointment.

'Should I try to kill something bigger? I obviously can't kill any pets. I feel like the guilt from killing cute cats and dogs will traumatize me. What about humans?... Meh I'll think about it when I unlock my Skill or Vision.' Kirari morbidly thought while remembering that one goblin that traumatized her in her past life.

As of now, Kirari has 4 goals.

One: Level up and try to unlock her Skill and Vision.

Two: Make R4 Amos Bow to increase hunting and leveling speed.

Three: Find a way to unlock her other characters and their Skills and Visions.

Lastly: Find out which Anime world she is in.

During her reincarnation, Dio had let the Anime God decide which world she was going to reincarnate in which sadly did not include her original world for some reason. Unfortunately, it wasn't streamed by Dio so she never found out which world she was in. All she knew was that it was a modern world with slightly more advanced technology like her last life. The difference is that eighty percent of the population had special powers called "quirk" or something. She was still learning the language so she was unsure. Japanese is hard to learn. She plans to read some history books once she can.

Quirks are a sort of mutation that gave humans a special ability. From super strength to the ability to spit fireballs, there was a wide variety of quirks. There were people in this world who used their quirks for evil deeds called Villains. And the people who stopped Villains with their own quirks were called Heroes. She learning this from watching tv with her family.

Kirari hasn't awakened her quirk yet but it is said that quirks usually awaken at the age of 4 so she thinks that hers could awaken any time soon.

After closing her Level Up System and finalizing her goals, she put her last arrow in her bag and decided it was time to go home. She walked out of the forested area of the park and headed towards the entrance. As she was heading out, she noticed a group of kids just walking in. They were all gathered around a loud, ash blonde boy with spiky hair who looked familiar. She immediately knew that this boy was the leader of the group.

While trying to remember where she had seen the boy, Kirari noticed a timid looking boy who was slightly distanced from the group. He had short messy green hair and was constantly switching from looking at the leader and the ground.

"DEKU! STOP BEING SO SLOW AND HURRY UP!"

"H-Hai! Sorry, Kacchan…"

"DEKU!"

"K-Kacchan…"

"DEKUUUU!"

"Kacchan!"

"…"

Kirari stared at the two idiots' interaction. Slowly, she recalled a memory about some similar looking individuals. They were from an old anime that her father from her previous life had shown her and was one of his favorites. Sadly, at that time she did not really like the anime because she did not like the main character but watched it with her father anyway to bond with him… Not! She just wanted an increase in her allowance so that she can spend it on video games.

Her memories of that anime were iffy at best. In fact, she barely remembers it at all which was why she was not able to figure out which world she had been reincarnated in.

Until now that is. She just encountered the main character from that anime.

"Oh my Dio. I'm in My Hero Academia."
