42 The morning

(Shirou's pov)

I don't know how long I was unconscious but I started to slowly regaining my consciousness. I didn't open my eyes immediately as I tired to feel out my situation. The last thing I remember was a purple demon shoving a spear through my stomach so of course I was careful. Even if I knew that she wouldn't kill me... hopefully.

I was aware that my head was laying on something soft and muscular at the same time. It was very pleasant for my head. I'm pretty sure I know what it is but research needs to be done. I turned my head so I my face would be buried in that something. It was soft and incredibly comfortable. At some point I even thought that she killed me and I was currently in heaven.

I then remembered that I didn't return home and I lift my head very fast. While I'm not scared of the consequences it still can be annoying.

Scathach: "Are you done enjoying my legs?"

She said with her usual emotionless expression.

Shirou: "No, but I have more important things to do at the moment. If you haven't notice it's morning already and I'm not home. Plus look at my clothes."

I retorted showing many holes in my shirt and pants.

She then drew something in the air with her finger making my clothes repair itself.

Shirou: "I'm not going to thank you."

It was her fault from the beginning afterall.

After repairing my clothes the demon started to become transparent starting from her hands. She looked at her hands without changing her expression.

Scathach: "It seems that my time is up. Summon me again tomorrow. If you don't want to spend another night outside, do it earlier. And of you won't do it you better pray that you won't need my help."

With these words she returned to her card form.

Cu: "If I were you, I would listen to her."

Shirou: "Why? Will she come out from the Land of Shadows just to train me?"

Cu-san just looked at me without saying anything with a blank expression.

Shirou: "S-she wouldn't do this, right?"

Cu-san once again stayed silent.

Shirou: "*Sigh* I understand."

Cu: "Sorry kid, she can be stubborn at times."

Shirou: "It's not your fault and you can't stop her even if you wanted."

Cu: "You got that right, hahaha."

He laughed awkwardly.

We separated after that. I went home as the sun started to rise.

As I was near my home I decided to go through the main entrance. I am 17 years old boy and it's normal for me to be out at night... right. Plus I was who the hell knows how old before I died. It's probably a bad idea but I'm going to stick with it. Besides everyone at home are probably aware that I didn't return home so the earlier I go through explaining myself the earlier the better.

I went there the door and wanted to go to take a shower after my outing. When I passed the living room i heard.

Irisviel: "So you finally showed up."

She sat on chair with both of her hands finger interlocked over her mouth.

Shirou: "Yeah, you know how it is..."

Irisviel: "Yes, I am aware. Shirou, we need to talk."

Her personality than did an 180 as she almost jumped up from the chair.

Irisviel: "When should I expect the grandchildren?"

I lagged for a bit not knowing how to react.

Shirou: "...The what?"

Irisviel: "The grandchildren. You weren't home for a night and you have a girlfriend so it's obvious what happened. You probably should use protection but you are a young man full of hormones. Combination of these two things isn't the greatest and often ends with bad decisions. I would also appreciate if you warned me before you do something like this but I also understand that sometimes you can't predict emotions.

I want you to understand that bo matter what you are my son and even if you will become a father in high school we'll try to support you and your other half but I feel as a mother to need to reprimand you of your actions even if I want to hold my grandchildren as soon as possible.

We'll probably also need to hold the wedding for you. Our family is accepting but the others won't so the day you'll be 18 all of us will go to the city hall registrar to submit documents. I won't force you to work so you can go to college if you want to without worrying for the children, our family will help you besides..."

Shirou: "STOP!!! Stop Irisviel, I didn't spend night with Rin and I didn't have sex with her and when I do I'll be sure to use protection."

Her whole rant took a lot less than you would expect thanks to her fast talking speed. That wasn't the only fast thing about her as she jumped to the conclusion after only one night.

Irisviel looked dejected.

Irisviel: "I-I won't be getting grandchildren?"

Shirou: "Not at the moment."

Irisviel: "B-but I already ordered baby clothes and toys. I even ordered home renovations to make new rooms."

I don't even want to begin to think how wrong it is.

Shirou: "You know that even if something had happened it would be nine months before the birth of children."

Irisviel: "Yes, but I was just excited to have grandchildren, start collecting their photos and brag about them to other mothers."

I pinched my nose bridge.

Shirou: "As interesting our talk is I really need to take a shower, so bye."

I left to the shower leaving Irisviel doing something on her phone, probably canceling her orders.

After shower I changed to my school uniform made a breakfast for everyone and explained why I wasn't home. Sorry Issei but everyone at my house thinks that you had a bad case of broken heart because your girlfriend dumped you because you were secretly collecting idol figures and she were creeped out by this.

I made a mental note to never let Issei meet anyone from my family.
