Nova's father stood there as if there wasn't a corpse of his daughter next to him.

'It's not going to be alright. I am not going to save you.' Her father's voice haunted her mind as he spoke directly to Nova.

He wanted to say pleasant things, but her powers wanted him to do otherwise.

Her mother knew what she had done, but she couldn't feel remorse at all. Instead, she felt happiness. 

Both of them did. 

Nova wanted to run away, but her father didn't let her. He wanted her little girl to not feel scared, so he decided to give her a hug.

Nova's powers made it so that his hug was the strongest hug she had ever had. Her father was going to crush her with his strength.

For some reason, after realizing this was all her fault, Nova wished she would just die.

Her powers made sure she didn't die. Instead, the one that was killing her died.
