Jagger had left the arena quickly heading to the male restroom to wash off the blood on his arms.

"Damn that's him"

"yeah I couldn't believe Preston couldn't even touch him"

"I think you're lying right now could Preston not lay a hand on a simple schol-"

"shush man, remember scholars were brought here for a reason and he is one of the reason why scholars should be left alone"

It seemed news spreads quickly like a virus in this academy, Jagger could hear all what they said but he didn't care a bit.

"SCHOLAR!"

Few people chanted as he passed they seemed to be victims of Preston's bullying, although they knew that Jagger would be dead if Preston's brother should be brought into the situation.

Although Preston's brother is the exact opposite of Preston as his brother was hard working and intelligent while Preston was a bit intelligent and lazy.

He had reached the rest room for boys as he entered inside and went to the sink to wash his hands 'wait is a sink supposed to be in this era?' he thought.

Now after leaving the rest room Jagger went straight to the assassin classroom and he found out that two students were already there as he took a sit.

Soon all the students had come and the instructor dropped the book he was reading, "Welcome back students today I'm going to pick out my best pupil of course this comes with awards but it will be disclosed later on" said the instructor.

"Now this contest is optional and anyone who doesn't participate will unranked which is the same as being rock bottom so if you're willing to participate raise your hands" said the instructor.

As he was about to raise his hand a female voice spoke out making him stop.

"ok then only four hands are raised" said the instructor looking at the students he seemed shocked for a moment but snapped out of it.

Amongst the hands that were raised was someone that looked familiar to Jagger, 'oh yes it's her from the arena, I'm sorry herma I need to raise my hand' Jagger thought after knowing she was part of them he was eager to compete.

'hmm I was shocked for a moment I knew you wouldn't pass such a contest' thought the instructor, "ok then first is nickel and Richard" he said out as the students he called went to the podium.

"The rules are as follows

1. No using of magical affinities unless it is used for physical enhancement.

2. A contester can be either forced to give up or can be knocked out by the opponent.

Please try your best to follow these rules"

The instructor said as both students ran forward Richard seemed to have the physical advantage but in the speed aspect it was Nickel who had the advantage.

Richard attempted to strike Nickel with a punch but he wasn't as fast as Nickel as Nickel easily dogged the punch and used his left leg to hit the right leg of Richard.

'what' Nickel thought noticing that Richard didn't feel much pain and that hid leg was grabbed by Richard.

Pulling Nickel closer to him self Richard attempted to hit him with a punch but Nickel managed to bend left but the second attack was knee to Nickel's groin as he lay on the floor grabbing his groin as he felt intense pain.

Not too long after the fight was stopped, "N-no continue the fight" Nickel said while sweating profusely as he cried in pain holding his groin.

Everyone seemed to hold their laughter but Jagger didn't see anything funny rather it seemed he felt the pain too 'Ah the balls' he thought.

The fight had stopped and it was time for another set to fight, the question ringing in everyone's mind was who would be the number one student?
