"Are you sure it's safe to those pills" asked the red haired man who had been standing outside the whole time with a curious face.

"yes, it was given to me by a demon hunter from the kingdom of Palerien, he said it would help in the most dangerous times but there is an effect thereafter" said Marc.

"Demon hunter?, what does that mean" Asked the red haired young man in confusion seemingly never having heard of it.

"I think that should be a new class and it is only from their kingdom I've ever heard of that class" Marc said just finding out that the question made sense.

"Hmm anyway we need to get to the village head's house to know what he plans to do about the situation, there are really close to the village but luckily it seemed they advancing more slower than before" said the red haired man.

They headed north which was the direction of the gate of the village but also the way to the village head's house.

Along the way the red haired man looked at some of the residents who seemed to be doing their activities some where packing up their thing since it was almost night while the rest continued what they did, not all villagers knew of the demons approaching since some of them couldn't cultivate since they didn't awaken or their cultivation level was too low.

"we need everyone to get packing, if they were to rampage here no one would survive" an old wise voice said as around 10 people were gathered around him in front of him home.

"yes it could be a problem especially if it was a Necromancy class demon" said another vigorous young voice, when he said that they had dim expressions no one wanted to face that demon even though it was only the second strongest.

This demons were capable of controlling dead bodies of any sort wether it be humans or animals as long as they were more powerful than the target.

"Then it's decided inform the villagers that they should prepare to quicky leave through the south gate, they should head to Pryfay town immediately" said the same old voice as two people immediately left the group to report what was told of them.

"Father!" a voice called out intensely, "Dalkon what are you doing here can't you see I am having a meeting with the elders?" the old man said in a strict voice looking at a red haired young man.

"Father they are almost at the gate but suddenly they stopped something is fishy, low level demons actually never think twice before attacking unless they have commander class demon among them" Dalkon spoke wisely which made everyone think again.

It was outside the gates and hearing know what it meant, the demons were approaching.

"you both inform the vill....." the old man spoke out but was interrupted "no we are staying" they both said at the same time with seriousness in their eyes.

"let me go.." said an elder, when he said it he received looks of disdain but he was still allowed to go.

"where are those pills Marc?" asked Dalkon in a low voice, "why what do you want to do with them" asked Marc seemingly not willing to give away the pills.

"we need them Marc now is not the time to be greedy, you're always like this. Dalkon said in a low voice but to Marc it was loud enough for everyone to hear.

"okay then fine" Marc said before placing a small sack on his hand,"at least let me have one" said Marc who still seemed angry.

"Ok then" Dalkon said putting his hand in the bag to give to Marc, bringing out the pill from the bag he took a look at it it seemed purple and engraved on it was an oni mask.

'what is this mask and why are horns on the head' Dalkon thought, the pill looked ominous and he couldn't quite get why, he then gave Marc the pill before dipping his hand inside to bring out to more which he took for himself.

"Father, look at this pills it helps give a power boost" he said giving the sack to his father who took it brought one out then took a look at it for some time before placing it in the sack back.

"who gave you these" asked the old man in a strict voice,"a man who I met outside the village when I went for hunting in the forest he said that he was demon hunter from the kingdom of Palerin.

While he was dying he gave me this pill saying it could come in handy he explained the details and use before dying" said Dalkon who had lied about every single thing.

"hmm and I guess this comes with a side effect?" asked the old man as Dolkon nods his head in confirmation.
